wow. this is worse than season 3
commies can't write for shit. And the french revolution was fight of the petit bourgeois the peasants didn't give a frick.
wow. this is worse than season 3
commies can't write for shit. And the french revolution was fight of the petit bourgeois the peasants didn't give a frick.
none of what you said was english
Literally just regurgitated, frustrated political drivel by another "I'm a white person, and my poltical stances are my personality" homosexual
you too
The only race related issue I have with the show is how they didn't give a single frick about the creole and white genocide in haiti.
but denying past crimes is to be expected from them.
God DAMN...what makes you think it's set in the REAL world?
Because Castlevania is, moron
They had it coming for staying like the dumbfricks they were. Except the Polish, obviously.
Maybe stop looking at wiener and get some reading comprehesion.
Or maybe stop sucking wiener and learn to speak and write like an adult.
>the french revolution was fight of the petit bourgeois the peasants didn't give a frick.
How can anyone glorified the French Revolution beyond me. Even Soviet Union teaches how more poor people got killed by the Revolutionaries than the actual elite class.
Its the lot of the masses to suffer over the ambitions of cruel men.
The turds take their knowledge of the French evolution from the Les Miserables. Not the book, but the abomination that is the burger musical.
Le mis revolt was from 1848
1832 actually aka the one no one remembers.
Les miserables does not even take place during the french revolution.
The French remember that period as The Reign of Sane Ancomm Government That Everyone Should Have. I don't know why chudmerican propaganda tries to slander it.
I'm sure the French remember a lot of things incorrectly, the winedrunk homosexuals.
It's mainly burgermutt propaganda that teaches the French Revolution as being this glorious revolution of the poor against stuffy, out of touch rich aristocrats that ended in all the aristocrats and royals being beheaded and republican democracy washing over France (plus or minus Napoleon).
95% of burgers have no clue that the Bourbons actually were restored to the throne or that loads of aristocratic families still live in France (though obviously in name only) let alone that most of the people who get killed were poor or that it was more the somewhat wealthy businessmen (coordinated by ~~*certain forces*~~ at that) that led the revolution.
Which is strange because I can attest most burgers actually despise stories where the rich get punished for being rich because of how bourgeois-worshipping their culture is, and yet they adore stories like the French revolution.
As a burger, the way it was presented in my history classes was that the French Revolution had just cause (and was partially our fault because the French blew a lot of money and resources backing our own revolution to give the British a black eye) but it became overzealous and radical, giving way to proscriptions and getting so bad that the people welcomed Napoleon seizing power.
And then the history classes lose interest in France after Napoleon gets defeated at Waterloo and move on to other subjects.
Okay, so how do you explain what you have now then if that's what's taught in your schools?
Cope
>How can anyone glorified the French Revolution beyond me.
Lack of education.
Lots of stupid class traitors who sympathised the an estate who cared nothing about them. It's why america is a ridiculous plutocracy, because its full of morons who think thats a good thing.
I'm only two episodes in and so far it's worse than the first show's season 3 and 4. At least Maria's mom is hot
>At least Maria's mom is hot
Aarokira will make such beautiful things with her
I don't get why they just copped Maria 1:1 from DXC but then you get this weird Richter design that's a mish-mash of a few of his designs. Should've just picked one of his costumes and stuck with it rather than rolling them into one and just looking awkward.
what did he look like before?
Well here's his original look from Rondo of Blood where he was sort of Ryu Belmont.
And then his redesign for Symphony of the Night. However, thanks to budget restraints he just reused his sprite from Rondo. The infamous Saturn port sort of gave him a new one but it's basically just a shit edit of his Rondo one.
And here's his costume from Dracula X Chronicles, a remake of Rondo for the PSP. Most people tend to dislike this one.
>Most people tend to dislike this one.
I don't mind it. I like it more than most Ayami Kojima designs.
For me, it's JUSTe. I love his design albeit I get the criticism that he's just Alucard and Richter smooshed together then coloured red
I don't mind his outfit. But even by 2002 the bishonen shtick was getting old. She somehow even managed to make middle-aged Julius look like a bishonen. It's like she can't help it. She's a filthy fricking fujo to the bone.
Kojima feels like that chick that drew anime stuff in her schoolbook but instead of growing out of it she learned to paint and now gets pay for it.
His game was such a pain to finish. I don't even think I did if I'm being honest.
his other designs are better but this one is still good
I kinda like all three but obviously because of the sprite, the original Ryu Rondo one is my favorite
I love Kojima so much
Any art books of her work?
There's this one, Santa Lilio Sangre, but last I checked it was a piece of shit to get ahold of.
Might be availble digitally somewhere but that's not as fun so I haven't chedkec.
I have it, I bought it when it was $150 and yes it's a b***h to get now. It doesn't only have Castlevania, it has some of her other work as well as some of her personal stuff which also has a bunch of guro like women wearing stilettos and stomping on men's brains and severed penises also some fits and hentai but it's beautifully drawn I wasn't prepared for that but I still like the book
ALL HAIL TO THE SHOJOU YAOI BAIT CLASSIC PAINTING ARTIST QUEEN
Saint Seiya SoVl
Force Ryō soul
Dracula X Chronicles>>
Of The Night>>>>>>>
Of Blood. Kojima's shoujo+seinen+classic painting art style is great and she did a fantastic job at "fixing" Richter and Simon's designs. Both of them looked nothing like Belmonts in their og appearances. Most Belmonts look like elegant high-class Bishounens, not ripped Street Fighter/Conan warriors from the 80s.
That's just because she redefined what Belmonts look like
>defending transvestite Simon
>"""""fixing"""" Simon by turning him into an unrecognizable pretty-faced twink
I want to see you fricktards kys.
Simon being Light Yagami from Death Note in Castlevania Judgement was funny, not good just funny. Massive chin pilot Simon from Captain N was better though.
Does Richter get naked?
Someone make a Magic Gun to shoot Vampires with already. Albus did it in Order of Ecclesia, you'd think with all the guns around and everyone knowing magic apparently, someone would try now.
>Game is an anime
>go with an OC anyway
This time they have no excuses
you vill like our OCs
you vill be happy about eet
Dracula was a bad guy doing bad guy shit. These are supposed to be our heroes as the cheer the murder of infants and the gangrape of girls as young as 5.
Dracula was in the process of reforming...then the stupid villagers took his kindness for weakness and poked the fricking bear.
>This time they don't have an excuse
They NEVER had an excuse anon.
Your stupid ass wouldn't even have Castlevania if it weren't for people retelling the same stories again and again with some changes that they think would be interesting.
Okay does my boy Richter;
>1) look cute
>2) has homolust with some other chara
>3) Is done dirty like Hector compared to it's OG counterpart.
Maria is at least cute and funny right?
She is a marxist before even the existence of the term.
Nothing some correction won't fix
shes 18
*13 in anime law
>gays using the show as an excuse to bring up their insanely moronic politics
Never seen a c**t so dumb they defended the French aristocracy before
Neat
There are people who still defend the Ottoman Empire policies. The french aristocracy was the minor offender in the continent.
Don't care, didn't ask, cope, seethe, ratio,L, etc.
Cared enough to respond
Cuckolds deserve no (you)s anon. Ignore Em and move on.
The Ottoman Empire was based and if they were in Netflixvania they wouldve kicked Dracula's homosexual ass and sold Carmilla to some fat merchant. And they wouldve given Godbrand a nice cushy job in the army
The French revolution and France in general has no relevance to Castlevania
Renard was mistranslated, it was Learned
Belmont was Belmondo
France was relevant in Blooldlines and Portrait of Ruin though. You have Versailles in Bloodlines and PoR is set during WW1 aka France vs Germany and it triggers the plot
PoR is set in WW2, but it has French maids.
French aristocracy was superior to french revolutionaries.
Nah the aristocracy deserved death and it is a small shame that the French didn't wipe out all of them.
Im more confused by the people defending the french revolutionaries
People fighting for literal human rights and an end to oppressive taxation and serfdom? Those revolutionaries? The ones that founded western democracy and cemented egalitarianism as a central value of western civilization? The ones that stripped the Catholic church of it's political power? Those revolutionaries?
Nah, losers, couldn't be me.
Reign of Terror happened. It took Napoleon to truly unfrick France and even then he's a screaming manlet moron like his successor Hitler
>fighting for literal human rights
>He doesn't know about the thousands of peasants executed for wrongthink
Come on I know you're smarter than this anon.
>He fell for the aristocrat propaganda meme
Your brain never developed
you can dislike the aristocracy while also not liking the batshit insane shit the revolutionaries pulled
This.
Tub guy had it coming.
>Woah the abbot was evil all along.
what a suprise. it's so telegraphed
On episode 4 and holy shit the show loves to remind you that Richter's and Annette's mom are dead at every turn.
It wasn't awful honestly, and I went in fully expecting everything about it to suck. Maybe this show's just broken me by now. I'd say it's about the last CV show's S2 quality where it's not really good but it also has a few good points and felt like someone was at least trying.
Maria was awful though. There's no world where Maria should be more serious than Richter and even with her voiced by an actual teen the whole youthful/innocent aspect didn't come across. Having a living parent felt detrimental to her character compared to the games (she shouldn't need to feel so jaded/independent if she's got that kind of support system), and her role in the last ~2 episodes would-be sacrifice victim would've worked better if she was a more innocent/optimistic kid.
Is Maria tied up at least?
#NotmyMaria
>It wasn't bad!
>but also the fan favorite character was awful
I think people are missing the point of my post HARD because I didn't say it wasn't bad. I said it wasn't as bad as I expected. See:
>it's about the last CV show's S2 quality where it's not really good but it also has a few good points
>it's not really good
There's a pretty wide range of quality between "not awful" and "not good" and my point is that it's mostly pretty mediocre. And yet it was still better than resurrecting Dracula and Lisa, and so what I was saying is it was better than the last show.
The only decent season the show had was the first and even that was pretty mid at best.
Netflixvania was a mistake and I'm impressed Iga at least got the first two to be slightly above mediocre. Then again Netflixvania was originally just some straight to DVD adaptation of CVIII
>Here this ungrateful wanker
>You dick...
Ah...This exquisite charm of a British longshoreman from petite French girl - I am sure smoothbrains will like this version of Maria.
This is the quality of writing these strikers want to mantain?!
AI would be a blessing compared with this shitty dialogue.
They won the strike though? Now screenwriters can use AI but company can`t.
too many gays in the motherfricking revolution
>fight scene at the end of episode 6
>cool grand cross
>actual cool fight scene
>bit of a team up with Juste
>Richter putting on his bandana
>Cool Divine Bloodlines remix
>I COULD MAKE A WITTY CLEVER AND BRUTAL COMMENT BUT FRICK IT
Of course they found a way to ruin it
I didn't hate it. Of the five seasons we've gotten now total, I'd say it's one of the best if not the best. But like most modern hyper-serialized TV shows it commits the cardinal sin of atrocious pacing. In some regards it's far too slow, in others far too fast, and then ends with the promise of another season and the story incomplete. Is it so hard to make a season satisfying on its own? I have other gripes besides that, but I'm tired of shit being dragged out across multiple seasons when there's barely enough there to occupy 90 minutes.
They're people unironically defending this shit
https://twitter.com/Python2099/status/1707088828236726583
>defending
Where? I just said I didn't hate it. It has plenty of narrative issues and dialogue issues, just like the last four seasons. It was a 6/10 and could've been much better even on its own terms.
But the post you linked is the guy shitting on it and a grand majority of the replies agree with him
At the very least I'm surprised no one has found a scene on the same level as Alucard's butt fricking yet
I watched the spanish version and the voice acting is actually pretty good
That animation is embarrassingly bad, jesus.
Jesus Christ the state of western voice acting is atrocious.
I'm not defending it, man. Just like, I expected the absolute worst but got something not totally horrible compared to the last season.
Maria Renard, the best character from the games, being portrayed as lame as frick is actually a huge point against it for me
At one point, yes.
What the frick does this have to do with anything?
I know the first show shitposted about atheism and shit but it was at least tangentially related to demons.
Why the music be fire tho
Truly pathetic. The total lack of conviction in their voices and the lack of any cheers or applause from the audience is just too funny.
Shaft Status
season 3
I like her design on dracula x chronicles and here she is such a try hard edgy contrarian, i think it is cute. My only real criticism is everyone should stop frick swearing every other word
both gay and a WE WERE AZTEC
>We were aztec
What? Do you think Olorox is black?
I don't, I'm just reporting what people are saying
He's Maria's dad.
Will they still go with Maria being in love with Alucard?
This show started already?
I just saw a preview as a youtube ad last night of Rictor's mom fighting a vampire...looked pretty good.
why did they make Richter a pathetic incel instead of a chad? they did the same thing to Trevor. Also why is Olrox stronger than Dracula?
>incel
What? He's a traumatized teenager.
>why did they make Richter a pathetic incel instead of a chad?
You mean like in SotN where the whole reason Shaft is able to brainwash him is because he can't stand being forgotten about after doing his job?
Richter was a berserker not a cuck.
Trevor was hella Chad wyoa?
>got his ass kicked by humans in a bar
>lost a fight to alucard
>had alucard and sypha cuck him out of his family library
>alucard cucked him out of fighting dracula
lol
>forgets the entirety of the death kino fight
>he watched past season 2
Sure, watched the whole thing.
>lost a fight to alucard
He at worst tied alucard.
Is it just me or is discussion for this dead every where? Not even twitter trannies give a shit
Now they can't rely on cheap controversy like the Alucard ass fricking
There's plenty of gay shit in it already
It's just like I predicted, no one really gives a shit about the show after Aeason 3 and 4 ended the way they did they burned any goodwill they could've had
Even if this new show "improved" in some way it's obvious that they still couldn't help but insert things that people hated about the previous show so to anyone outside of the situation they just see that it's more of the same shit
If they wanted people to care they should've done a complete course correction, but the producers and directors are all a bunch of actual soimen that think everything they make is gold so they just went with whatever
I expect a lot of astroturfing in the following week but the almost non-response the show is getting says it all. It's just boring and no one really cares anymore
Does my boy Talleyrand show up?
>Talleyrand
The Hungarians wouldn't let that fork-tongued fr*nchmen pass through their lands, they already have one soulless demon to deal with on their South East border.
The WGA strike is over here is everything that came out of it

Ah yes Netflix and without gay sex in the season they could hardly resist.
This Olrox guy genuinely looks like a flat woman
Maybe if you've never seen a woman before.
Is there at least any tips in it? Jesus Christ
>villain is a gay
well that's new
>Episode 4
goddamn they're trying real hard to filter people early huh?
Is that Vesemir?
did Orlox get colonized? That other guy doesn't look Aztec
Is there at least sexy female characters in this show?
Nah.
no.
Yes.
Anon, I don't think you know what sexy means.
Not all of us are cucks who exclusively watch cartoons and haven't seen a cute girl in a decade.
Do any of them get naked?
Sometimes I forget Cinemaphile is brimming with literal trannies with abysmal taste. But to answer your question, no. It's a israeliteflix show after all.
>But to answer your question, no.
Fricking Netflix.
When writers rooms come up with this kind of thing, what is the actual reasoning? Like do they articulate it as "the source material doesn't have any homosexuals in it, we need to put some in" or what?
>"Source material?"
Usually at the Pitch meeting, some ethical department guy or some statistic shit guy or PR manager will say
>Listen Screen-writer your shit is good and all but how about some addition of inclusivity? This will help us to rise ratings and to get ESG points.
And magic of America is in action.
Or screen-writer is lefti-liberal cuck and he is like:
>Hey I love this setting so much but I think that absence of gays is problematic, let`s fix it? What? You don`t care about that because company paid you already? That`s good to hear then I will race swap one or two of the original characters.
Something like that.
>Like do they articulate it as "the source material doesn't have any homosexuals in it, we need to put some in"
That's basically it.
All American media is like this nowadays.
It's less about "does this fit with the source material?" and more about "how can we change the source material to fit our shittier vision?"
its one of the many ways they think they automatically make a series mature by adding it
like gay or straight sex, endless swearing, constant marvel quipping, violence and shit like that
Man, they really are just turning everything gay.
Will Richter get post-coitus in future?
>Olrox is a gay Mesoamerican now
>whole point of his character was that he was just meant to be a Nosferatu stand-in (he's literally Orlok in the Japanese version, "Olrox" is just a mistranslation from Jeremy Blaustein) after the film went into the public domain
Why even bother at this point?
I hate the trope of "stupid kid distracts parent by staying behind instead of running and gets them killed".
She wouldn`t have any chances even without the kid.
She had CHOICES without the little shit in the way. She could have distracted the vamp and bailed. Just because you start a fight doesn't mean you have to stay and die. Combat 101, dude. He who fights and runs away and all that.
The same churls complain that a movie set in 2000's CANADA didn't give a shit about 9/11.
So where are the TCs and iPhone? What's the point of the setting
in 2036 where Julius ended dracula for good.
I thought it was pretty good, honestly surprised the show wanted to pair Annette and Richard at all.
well you do you, anon. I couldn't stand almost any of the characters, I wanted to give Richter a chance but of course his dialogue fricking sucks
>I thought it was pretty good,
This is considered good?
Sorry I don't touch xitter with a ten foot pole, describe the scene for me
To put this into perspective: You're HERE. The musky butthole of the internet. And you think you're too good for the ARMPIT? Uh, Anon...
Excuse you, we're the back of the neck
*sigh* We've been over this. Just because you like it here doesn't automatically upgrade our standing, Anon.
If you unironically think Cinemaphile of all places is the internet's butthole you have seen nothing yet
Cinemaphile doesn't give me a headache tho. Twitter you have to see the autism with a face.
You new to the internet? 4chins isnt even close to being the butthole
Cinemaphile is not the lowest place in the Internet anymore. I would say tiktok and Twitter create more evil and degeneracy and drives more people to an hero than this place.
The only reason people say Cinemaphile is the worst it's because people's language and politics isn't policed here as hard as other places and no one gives a shit about hurt feefees. They also ignore that the whole place isn't just /misc/ but we also have a /LGBT/ board and they're just as nasty as the pollacks.
STFU you dump israelite.
>The only reason people say Cinemaphile is the worst it's because people's language and politics isn't policed here as hard as other places and no one gives a shit about hurt feefees. They also ignore that the whole place isn't just /misc/ but we also have a /LGBT/ board and they're just as nasty as the pollacks.
homie, T`r○●nie L○●nies invaded this site for years now anf they just killed off the fun of this pñace with their astroturfing, they want you so hard to believe that Roiland deserved its cancellation, same with Ellis, cause they are in that camp, and they abuse their power with all their might.
>those threads on Cinemaphile mourning cute maria renard
You can say "troonie loonies" if you want, no need for the funny symbols, youre not a freemason
Cinemaphile has always been shit and Cinemaphile was always the most lame board, the difference is that it used to be funny now it's just sad.
Still not the worst place on the Internet and definitely not yours or anyone's hugbox.
Frick yes! I was so afraid they wouldn't. Colonized choco waifu is a go.
I'm kind of glad the eclipse thing means they have no plans or capability of adapting the Sorrow games because by their rules, Julius will have to be black
>Villains are pedophile lesbians
/co hates this for some reason
Do they get naked?
Yeah but only in transformation scenes
Do they molest anyone?
All the time unfortunately, the youngest was shown in Terra's backstory
Who HAVEN'T they molested?? Molestation was always on the table.
>pedophile
>women
???
Yes?
Loved it, can't wait for the second season and seeing vampire Tera
Feel like they didn't get their money's worth out of Denimcatfish, where's my girl on girl sex scene? We better get it
This design redeemed her goofy modern get up by a lot.
you really couldn't have found better art? This looks like shit
Big Homo
Post some yourself
>Drolta empowered.jpg
Still absolutely bizarre that this character is based on a old witch character who was based on a historical old woman who served a real serial killer.
This fricking character design.
it just looks like "Generic Succubus from shitty Isekai #37"
Why didn't just use a succubus design from the games?
That might be Tera next season
Also Tera's breasts were quite hefty
Tera's design is quintessential next door milf. They knew what they're doing.
Yeah, wonder what she's gonna be like next season. I wonder if we're getting a timeskip.
He's got a good moment showing he can still fight.
CV ReBirth's Succubus is so underrated.
How is she in the show
>they actually drew her cameltoe
Lol
Duh, why would a smut artist NOT draw the cameltoe?
Is she supposed to be an normal Vampire?
She seems far more demon-ish than the rest of them.
>when he hears what they have done to his expy
Give me the bullet points of the show because I'm not wasting time watching this trash.
>Post count didn't go up
So pathetic my dude
Watch it or complain about something else cuck
>no dracula
>no castlevania
>no death
>maria is a teenager for some reason
>set in france during the french revolution for some fricking reason
>annette is a caribbean for some fricking reason
>Olrox is not a bald purple nosferatu
It doesn't follow the plot of the game, it doesn't use the original character designs, why the frick would I waste my time on this pile of trash, this is just shitty fanfic, even the Lecarde Chronicles fangames have more respects for the Castlevania setting than this.
You're just an idiot wasting his time raging pointlessly. And the plot was always "kill monsters"
>even the Lecarde Chronicles fangames have more respects for the Castlevania setting than this
I would argue they have crazy amount of respect for the setting; both games have amazing atmosphere and are faithful to the original series themes (and to the themes of movies, books and other gothic material the games were originally based on) but are still brave enough to tell their own story and not to rehash the classical Dracula resurrected-plotline.
Also Castlevania: The Seal of The Curse is a great fan remake of CVII, check that one out too.
>Castlevania: The Seal of The Curse
wait no Dracula? then this shit isn't Castlevania
Says the guy that doesn't play the games rofl, it's always you people that didn't play the games complaining
your insult doesn't make sense, secondary-kun
the people who played the games are complaining the most and that's why the show lost viewership over time
Nope, rea Castlevania fans know that you don't fight Dracula in every game lol. He's even the protagonist in several of the games.
he was a protagonist in 1 game that was
you have no idea what you're talking about
Pretty sure he's baiting, no one who's an actual fan of Castlevania games would want to acknowledge those shitty Lord of Shadow games that desperately wanted to be God of War.
>he was a protagonist in 1 game
WRONG
It's funny seeing them pretend they know Castlevania because they maybe played 1 game or so and not even to completion, but yeah we've played as Drac several times
Soma =/= Dracula you moron
It's literally the same soul you gigantic moron, wish you'd get runover by a train
But different people who make different choices. It's the whole point of why that soul reincarnated.
Same. Soul.
Different. Choices.
Castlevania is all about the choices people make in the face of extenuating circumstances
Same. Soul.
What the frick are you talking about ?
The Deats Brothers are fat soiboi cucks that pretend to be fans of the series so I'm not surprised they let this shit get bad
where's Dracula?
Fricking his wife's corpse
Doesn't he have to get re-animated for every go-round with the Belmonts by some monsters or worshippers? I don't really recall the old games' story outside of
Poe: Somehow, Dracula returned.
people were hoping the show would be a JoJo style story where each Season would've been a different Belmont with Dracula becoming more powerful each time
but obviously they didn't do that and gave us whatever the frick Season 3 and 4 were
Warren Ellis was working on this shit since 2007 and the notes he gave on his website about wanting to beat the shit out of IGA in a dark alley for making him rewrite scripts more than 8 times and IGA approving the Church crap and not giving a frick about the ultra violence, swearing, Goat fricking joke, and only caring about the plot, etc... It sent a bunch of red flags that this thing was going to be a huge mess.
Konami reviving this project and giving to Netflix pretty much made all of that shit worse.
>IGA approving the Church crap
it's in line with Lisa's death in SOTN though
and having them condemn the Belmonts makes more sense too, I don't know why everyone always thinks CV3's plot point of "The people of Europe asked the Belmonts to leave because they were scared of them" was some squeaky clean problem where nothing bad could've happened
I agree the "church is le evil" crap became annoying after awhile but that was absolutely Ellis doubling down now that IGA couldn't tardwrangle him anymore
In Season 1 and (some) of Season 2, it was fine and it fit the setting
I am not complaining about it just stating that he approved it but yeah Ellis has a huge hate for the Church. That was very apparent to me when I read Transmetropolitan.
>Olrox b***hing about colonialism while creaming about his Aztec Empire.
not gonna lie that made me laugh
>Olrox is now a gay Native American who turns into a israeli reptile man
woah didn't know this show was that based
Post transformation scene
the frick
Yeah, accidentally replied to myself. I'm on a cell phone ATM. Shit happens
I liked it. Annette being a Black is okay, in the games her presence is minimal anyway. African magic was cool too. Bathory LARPing as a egyptian goddess / domestic pet was kinda meh but her enforcer, that ebony succubus got my dick hard, I like an evil sassy b***h. Ritcher acting like a lite Ryu fighting her was nice too. Olrox is just MCU Namor tho. Predictable but nice cliffhanger at the end.
>$0.50 Netflix bux has been deposited into your account
See ya when Big Mouth S7 drops
Kinda hard cause I pirated it but sure maybe I will watch it legit
what is the best of the original castlevania games?
Castlevania 1 and 3 on the NES are great and Super Castlevania 4, Rondo of Blood and Bloodlines are all kino
Really you can't go wrong with what you pplay, just don't play Castlevania 2 unless you're really curious
also don't play the first Gameboy it legitimately sucks
>Super Castlevania 4
Kino but not canon.
Who gives a shit about Castlevania canon?
Anyone with a functional brain, so probably not you.
>functional brain
>caring about the canon of Castlevania of all things
Kek
Juste belmont status?
Old, bitter and keeps family friends a secret
Did they do him any justice at all or should I just skip this? He is my fav Belmont after Julius.
JUST'D unironically.
WTF was that ending? He just showed up out of nowhere??? Where the frick is dracula?
I think Dracula has pulled an Alucard and removed himself from the world after realizing what he had become and sacrificed himself instead of killing his son. After the hell vacation and all.
I wonder if Alucard even knows he's around or if that'll come up at all. Real question is what happened to Lisa...was she just living her normal lifespan until her trip into hell again or what?
They definitely bring back dracula to fight this god biitch
That would be very interesting, wonder if that's what they'd be forced to do. Either that or timeskip with a lot of training or something.
Dude only shows up when shit hits the fan
Season 2 wait is gonna be a b***h...
>$1.00 Netflix bux has been deposited into your account
why would there even be a SOTN season?
Dracula got redeemed and had a happy ending
He wasn't here at all
his castle is probably gone
and Richter has no real motivation to be corrupted by Shaft who isn't even there either
These homosexuals wanted to make SOTN so badly but virtually none of it is present, what the frick are they thinking?
>Dracula got redeemed and had a happy ending
why?
Because he was le heckin' valid and misunderstood and the real villain was god the whole time
I think Dracula trying to fight God would be kino. But it would work with the Christian God? Maybe OT God or Islam God would make for a more entertaining fight
Ironicly you could say the entire saga is about Dracula fighting (or trying to at least) God after having his meltdown and falling out with Leon. Then he finally get put down for good by Julius, and God forgive him and give him a second chance by reicarnating him as a jap twink to destroy the evil he had fed and became the incarnation of.
I think he should have been more angry than sad, Alucard was working alongside humans, that should have caused him to become more of a monster than man, game dracula.
I mean...that is the story of Vlad Tepes. He wasn't a bad dude, he was putting slavers on pikes as a warning to frick off and stop enslaving his people. He's celebrated as a hero with festivals every year in Romania.
He was a filthy savage standing in the way of progress, preventing the apes of transylvania from being civilised by the Ottoman Caliphate.
How's that pike up your ass? Itches, huh?
Transylvanian savages dont even cook their meat.
git gud vlad
Yeah, but he was also a devote Christian. he'd probably have Ellis impaled if were given the chance.
Nope, he liked the wild bombastic tales people made up about him.
Because that's how it goes for him. We're gonna see next season how being a vampire fricks your mind and warps your personality most likely. It's like the Dark Side in Star Wars, it can corrupt you beyond control of your own actions
You probably have to age to a certain extent to get some semblance of your older self back, it's just that some of them probably don't care at that point anymore. But we'll see, it's still unclear.
Because Ellis loves the (metaphorical) Antichrist.
>Dracula got redeemed and had a happy ending
I don't think it matters in a practical sense, isn't it basically implied anyway that as the series of games went on the thing that kept coming back was no longer actually Dracula but like some form of negative will from him that endured, which is why his forms became more and more monstrous?
Dracula was cursed when he obtained the power of chaos from Satan, at least that what the aria of sorrow game implies.
Basicly is dark deal and the absolute evilness of his magic and action created/made him the avatar of Chaos, pure evil, that seeped into his castle and made it semi-sentient and eldritch, it's linked to him, bringing him back and falling appart when he die. Julius managed to kill Drac for good and some jap clan helped by locking the castle into a eclipse. 19 years latter, Drac reicarnation Sona, a jap twink, get dragged in it when the eclipse happen again, but he reject the entity trying to make him Drac replacant and destroy it. All according to God plan.
is dracula a cuck?
Lisa is dead and in heaven, his reicarnation got a girlfriend. If anyone got cucked, it's evil because Drac soul was redeemed.
in the context of the games, Dracula is forever cursed to be the avatar of Chaos because he chose to be evil and wants to oppose God and humanity. He only got a second chance because he got his ass kicked so hard in 1999 he got reincarnated as Soma who is separate from Dracula and chooses to not go back to the life of the Dark Lord. Alucard also has to remind Dracula that Lisa never wanted him to become evil and want t destroy everything and that's why he gets "punished" for all eternity.
Dracula only gets his happy ending once his "soul" (Soma) decides that he doesn't want to have that life anymore.
But in the show, it bends over backwards to justify why he was in the right to want to genocide humanity and Lisa is just suddenly okay with him doing that and gets to be resurrected with him and neither one of them tells Alucard they're alive apparently. Also Alucard's whole point of opposing Dracula was because Lisa wouldn't have wanted him blaming humanity at large for her demise but here she seems fine with it.
So Dracula gets his happy ending without having done anything to deserve it/be punished for the suffering he caused that warrants the second chance
Yeah this shit really pisses me off, the games had this cool theming about the tension between agency/personal choice in regards to whether one's actions are good or evil, and the role of very very real forces of destiny, divinity and whatever the frick you call that Gnostic shit the Sorrow games had going on.
It makes things complex, gives every character an intrinsic internal struggle, like the Belmonts struggling with their destiny to face evil in bloody struggle and have their lives ruined for it, Alucard finding himself caught between his mother's humanity and his father's overwhelming demonic power, Dracula's love for his wife but loss of agency due to surrendering entirely to his grief and rage and harming others in the process, and we don't even NEED to talk about Soma and how much his story is about repelling destiny but how he may have been led to make the same choices as Dracula of his own free will.
So when this show comes around with its themes of "lol destiny is good actually?" and its insistence on telling us "noooo if you can justify a villain's actions they're not evil, it's not like they intentionally made the choice to perpetuate these horrors cause agency isn't real and destiny is", not only is it an utterly stupid moral to preach which speaks to the short-sighted blobbing through life that these obviously depressed and out-of-control Netflix writers feel. It also just totally scoops out all depth to the characters AND lobotomises the plot. All the twists are wildly predictable because everything is preordained, so nothing deviates from what you expect. No actions have weight, plot beats have no significance, because everything is underlined to us as just being a matter of course that noone could've controlled.
I really don't like it, I think it's a big reason why these shows feel like "turn your brain off" mush
>This post
T.gamelets, Cinemaphile Castlevania lore sage here
No
Mathias swore to get revenge on God for taking away Elizabetha from him, that's why he turned into Dracula
The reason why he's always evil when he returns it's because he's linked to chaos itself, and as long as mankind has evil on their hearts, he will always return and he always says this
He only died for good in 1999 when they separated him from chaos, the source of his power and thus Mathias died for good
Netflix SOTN just has to make up an evil cult lead by shaft to resurrect dracula and he will be inherently evil just by being back due to chaos, that's the perfect 5 minutes excuse to start SOTN season, Alucard already showed up at the end of this season, next one will probably be SOTN or a preparation to SOTN
SOTN has always been their goal
yeah but the whole point was that Richter was involved in almost bringing back Dracula and Alucard woke up again precisely because the castle came back when it shouldn't and he couldn't feel the power of the Belmonts anymore
Plus Shaft hasn't shown up at all and they didn't do anything to actually set up what makes SOTN what it is
If SOTN has been their goal they did a shitty job actually getting there
He just wanted an answer of why dracula would return and be evil again when doing so, that's all I said
>Netflix SOTN just has to make up an evil cult lead by shaft to resurrect dracula and he will be inherently evil just by being back due to chaos
But why would Dracula be dead in the Netflix universe in the first place, he was alive last time we saw him and he and Lisa said they would be back to their son. Why would he be dead?
Yeah he ended up back alive with Lisa which kind of ruins the most emotional part of SOTN.
He meets her as a kid, people are going to batshit and scream grooming.
Lament of Innocence Succubus is the best one.
In SotN (or well, the Rondo of Blood prologue of it) Dracula implies he was brought back against his will and is really just tired of this shit, which is in line with his character in th show. They can just do the same thing here.
No, he is just an evil c**t. The games and the show has opposite characterizations of Dracula due to the writer's love of the (metaphorical) Antichrist.
Not that anon and I hate this show, but don’t talk nonsense either, SotN literally ends with Dracula acting a little regretful over his current incarnation after Alucard defeats him, even quoting the Bible as sound advice after he mocked all religions in the intro scene against Richter.
He still want to kill humanity. He still continues after SotN.
He's not entirely of his own mind when it comes to that. He's partially hijacked by an entity in opposition to God as its agent
I don't really know this series but can someone post the black woman?
I think it was neat he spared those vamps. I wonder if he'll be more diplomatic and try to sway them.
so real question. are Lisa and Dracula from season 1/2 intended to be not villains? It is shown that after Lisa is burned at the stake she goes to hell which implies she was evil along with Dracula then summoning endless amounts of hell monsters which seems to vindicate the church. But then later Trevor (along with all the main cast?) are all atheists that hate the church but have some kind of magic that fights monsters? what is the point here
>what is the point here
Subverting your expectations
Hello David Benioff and Dan B Weiss, showrunners of hit television series Game of Thrones
man after GoT went to shit as bad as it did, it's impressive Castlevania did the same in record time
it's obvious they want to be like GoT too but after what happened there, why the frick would you do that
I'm pretty sure Dracula was just the villain of Season 1 and 2 and Lisa was intended to be a victim and a good person like she was in SOTN
but once Ellis and the showrunners got it in their head to add """"nuance"""" to the story, they started contradicting themselves way too much in an effort to make Dracula more complex without actually considering the implications
S1 and S2 are consistent enough but after that point it goes full moron
I think the price for laying with Dracula means you are condemned to hell. But the fact they are freed from hell means it was a trial under God and were allowed to leave and have their time in hell seen as penance.
Remember the Forgemasters are a deliberate instrument of the divine in the show, they're meant to raise them in hell as a way to redeem themselves for mortals. It's just that they end up getting abused as weapons when they could instead be used to rebuild and help like how Isaac had them restoring the city.
why is Olrox more powerful than Dracula? Dracula struggled to fight Trevor 1v1 but Olrox can kill millions?
They make note of how Dracula hasn't been feeding for likely over a year. Ever since Lisa died. He was super weak when he fought them all (And was winning) and only lets himself be killed in the end.
he got his ass kicked by trevor and sypha though
No he didn't, Trevor tries punching him and it doesn't work and Sypha tries to counter Dracula's magic but has to run when he shoots 1 fireball
They won because Alucard was able to keep up with him and they found his old bedroom and Trevor only killed Dracula when he was emotionally vulnerable
That final battle was so fricking stupid.
>I'M KILLING MY OWN SON
>I'M SADULA
I thought that was fine actually, at least in the context of it would be weird if Dracula had no real emotional reaction about his son
What's actually stupid was that Dracula barely did any cool moves from the games or at least turn into a monster and maybe have his sad moment there. Giant intimidating monsters being swayed by emotions is kino
or having the fight be a 1v1 between Dracula and Alucard rather than involving the other 2 hardly at all
Alucard overpowered draculas fire meteor. Olrox can turn into a snake dragon and would kill Dracula 1v1
We never saw a fullpower Dracula fight though.
Also Olrox can't even go out in the day. We also know he's younger than Drac was so he's clearly weaker
what does age have to do with anything? Alucard is like 10 years old in the original series and kills all the older vampires at the war council.
I'm sorry, but I can't imagine a more powerful vamp than Dracula. He was always considered the frickin top in all vampire lore he existed in that I'm aware of.
Just disregard how he's not been feeding and weakened because of it, sure.
>Maria here Terra that and they completely forgot about best Belmont specimen from parallel universe...
I would 100% be okay with her showing up next season. Morris clan sending aid sort of deal.
Not belong to this universe which is based on original timeline sadly...
Morris Sonia for next season, I am going to will this into existence
>Using not even the best her re-imagination
Your will is weak so as your pic.
God damn that really is her best reimagining, I kneel
I told y'all it was gonna be shit as soon as they turned the white girl black, with no regard for historial accuracy. But APPARENTLY I jumped the gun back then.
But it was actually good
>$1.25 Netflix bux has been deposited into your account
The animation is beutiful but I'm just bored
I feel like the animation is really inconsistent
like sometimes it looks good but other times it looks so choppy and shitty but then they also add way too many frames to scenes that don't need it
it's almost worse than when Dragon Ball Super had bad animation
Super was on a whole different level of bad.
But both stem from the same issue: budget
They're doing the best they can with limits
>They're doing the best they can with limits
yeah but even so, actual anime has the excuse of having horrible crunch time and companies making the studios work within a small time frame
Powerhouse had over 2 years to improve and it feels no different, you'd think they would've gotten better at it over time
They work on a lot of stuff
He's part of a team, besides he defeated Drolta when they went 1v1. And he only JUST got his magic back, he needs time to train with so he can spam HYDRO STORM later.
Framerate was an issue all the way from the first season
BRAAAAAAP
why are the belmonts not useful at all in these shows?
>I was going to say something witty and cutting and brutal before finishing you off...
>And then this line
The power of the modern screenwriter ladies and gentlemen don`t forget to rise my payment
YOU CAN CALL ME RICHTER THE VAMPIRE KILLER
HAS A NICE RING TO IT DON'T YOU THINK
Mega?
was Dracula an incel?
Dracula was always just some dude the Belmonts would go full home invasion on and rob
Don't believe the Belmont lies
Can anyone lend me a fresh wiener to suck? It's my favorite hobby after all!
I can see how you'd think I'm a gay dude but actually I'm a woman
I'm not a fan of netflix Castlevania at all and in the past used to post images of Maria in these threads while talking about how it sucks
There are no women in the Internet, anon.
There are no men in Cinemaphile, anon.
Why Sekhmet is such a violent lesbian?
>Juste shows up
oh cool 😀
>admits he just let Lydie and Maxim die even though he could incinerate any vampires he wanted
what the frick this shit is so bad lmao
>LMAO I'm old and have given up LMAO
t.JUSTe Belmon.t
That's it I'm out of here
Maria really is the worst character in this
it feels like some soiboi wrote her to be like "See ladies? She's le badass just like you!"
#NotMyMaria, get it boys
Good nore kino for the rest of ys
Not she isnt, that is a skinsuiter.
At least she doesn't stuff turtles into her bra
It's so powerful when characters talk like modern day Seattle urbanite scum and you race swap characters for no reason other than to bring up them being pathetic weak slaves
Someone post Juste, I want to see how badly they botched his design
Juste is okay but what they did with Richter`s bride on the other side...
If (You) only knew how bad things would get
>he keeps the hairstyle even as an old man
Now that's commitment.
Them going with the bad ending for Harmony of Dissonance was cruel.
was there any breasts
>American animation
>breasts
>In 2023
You'll take your gay sex and you'll enjoy it, bigot.
oh
eww
So this version of Juste got the bad ending?
worse
he got the best ending
but then later in life some random vampire just killed them anyway because lol
>Ritcher's and Maria's mom
GOOD GOD I FRICKING LOVE MILFS AAAAAAAAAAAH
>all this bullshit for a minute and a half of animation that just looks ok
the absolute state
This whole season was just a huge lame duck. The last seasons were pure edgy fetish shit with every character being as vulgar as they could be but it did some interesting stuff with the Infinite Corridor and some of the lore interested me even though the execution wasn't the best. This is just a whole lot of nothing.
Also the swearing in this is so tryhard and inoffensive. Ellis' writing felt like it was an edgy teenager swearing in a colorful way but this is like a child trying to be cool.
Original Nocturne saga in the game series
>Rondo Of Blood starts with Richter the most heroic and purest Belmont in history going to destroy Dracula's army while meeting a little girl with magical powers named Maria Renard along the way who helps him save his aristocratic girlfriend Anette and two other girls (Iris & Tera) kidnapped by Vlad
>Symphony Of The Night starts 5 years later with Richter getting brainwashed by Shaft who forced him to create Castlevania and revive Dracula way earlier. Grown up Maria goes to search for Richter while Alucard awakens from his sleep and enters the scene because he knows that he's the only one who can stop his father now seeing how the current Belmont can't do it. It ends with Alucard saving Richter, saying goodbye to his father, and telling Maria to let go of him and not follow him.
>Nocturne Of Recollection starts 1 year later with Alucard and Maria living together after Richter tells her to follow her chosen way in life. Maria tries to make Alucard stop being a turbo autistic antisocial loner and open up as a person. Alucard doesn't want to develop feelings for her because: (A) He knows that he will outlive her (B) He will be tempted to turn her into a Vampire (C) He will put her in danger and possibility of being killed by either other Vampires or humans which would lead Alucard to become like his father. etc, etc. In the middle of the story the main frickboi antagonist Magnus wants to kill Alucard while using his old servant Lyudmil. Meanwhile, there are two immature Vampire Hunters (Silyl & Alexis) who want to kill Magnus but they get laughed at by Richter along the way. It ends with Alucard killing Magnus, saying goodbye to his old friend Lyudmil, and realizing how much Maria means to him and how he doesn't want to lose her like his mother. Richter gives them his blessing and stops being an butthole to Silyl and Alexis for being amateurs.
Netflix cartoon fanfic saga
>It starts with Richter the edgiest and most vulgar Belmont in history going to fight in the French Revolution or something while infinitely more boring Maria and Anette (who is now an independent black woman who used to be a Caribbean slave) help him defeat random forgettable big tittied Vampire woman because the writers shoot themselves in the foot by getting rid of Dracula AKA THE MAIN FRICKING ANTAGONIST OF THE ENTIRE FRANCHISE WHO ALWAYS GOT KILLED BY BELMONTS AKA THE BLOODLINE OF PEOPLE WHO EXISTED SPECIFICALLY TO STOP HIM EVERY SINGLE CENTURY
>It ends with big dicked assufcked homosexual edge lord Alucard killing the main antagonist while showing a middle finger towards Richter and telling him how worthless he is
>>It ends with big dicked assufcked homosexual edge lord Alucard killing the main antagonist while showing a middle finger towards Richter and telling him how worthless he is
I mean that's pretty much the plot of SOTN
not really. plus this Netflix series takes place during the events of Rando/chronicles not SOTN
>
*takes an Annette*
why did castlevania get so cucked?
It's an Asian property adapted by Americans.
They always end up getting fricked because Americans are extremely insecure about adapting anything they didn't personally write.
no one at Konami is "in charge" of Castlevania so no one to tardwrangle the dumbasses making it like Iga did
Plus the producers and directors are actual soiboi cucks (look at their twitter pages) that are insecure with what they make and doubled down on the shit fans didn't like as a passive aggressive middle finger
fricked up that a goblet
is a cup and not a tiny
goblin
>they actually doubled down on the WHAT IF THE MCU SAID FRICK dialogue
To think people were excited and thought things would improve when Ellis was booted.
I still prefer SOTN Maria
>Alucard getting ass fricked in the Netflix adaption made Japanese fans seethe with rage so much that Konami had to confirm that Maria was canonically the only lover Alucard ever had
Based
Reminds me of how Gundam had to retcon their last series ending with married lesbians.
It was a Gundam series made by Americans?
No funny enough.
>commies can't write for shit.
Can't believe it took you 4 seasons of goyslop to realize this. Absolutely pathetic.
Seeing Richter run like a b***h was funny as frick
Cute, CUTE
I love for these vanilla pairings. My new Trevor and Sypha.
>$1.50 Netflix bux has been deposited into your account
I wish
I call shenanigans. This b***h only gets horny sending people to the guillotine.
Wrong girl, they don't have guillotines, where this one comes from.
>Richter ends up with a girl who was his girlfriend in the original games
whoa. I never expected this. what a surprise
Recapitulating, we hate it for the negress and supporting the republic over absolute monarchy. Is this accurate?
>People ITT exercising the rights granted to them by the French revolution to say it was bad and defend the aristocracy
You guys are hilarious.
>People ITT exercising the rights granted to them by the French revolution
What rights? The rights to have a bunch of proto-communists execute everyone who disagrees with them for "muh democracy"? A natural nobility id preferable to having a bunch of NGO israelites and freemasons running everything from the shadows and unleashing Black person mobs every election year.
Will I like this if I'm a liberal cuck who doesn't give a shit about religion or identity politics?
Are you still a liberal cuck at that point? That just sounds like a classic democrat. These days, those are considered no different from ultra MAGA nazis.
>These days, those are considered no different from ultra MAGA nazis
....Is what the news would have you believe. I live in the Bay Area and while most people here support racial equality they generally couldn't care less about your position as long as you aren't a white supremacist or antisemite.
You think they'll let Alucard frick Maria's brain out?
There's going to be so many self-inserts. Just look at all the Alucard/OC on Ao3.
With a timeskip sure
Really looking forward to season 2
Hope Drolta gets revived even if she gets less screen time or something, I liked her
The wait begins
Bloodstained 2 entered pre-production last year, lad.
stop shilling
>5.00$ was deposited in your Disney Dollars
wait for what
Netflix salary
You expect me to fricking believe that after the first series ending the Belmont clanis almost extinct AGAIN and the only ones left are Julia (RIP), washed out old man Juste and fricking Ritcher who wouldn't have been able to continue the family legacy without Tera and Maria WHEN as established before they literally built a town around the Belmont keep and Castlevania is just around the corner?
After 300 years of continuining the family legacy the Belmont clan is not a full sized and deadly organization dedicated to destroy evil in all shapes and forms and Julia had to go to America by herself with a child Ritcher in tow to continue the family legacy? What the frick is this writing?
Belmonts hate sex
>Family of super chad and chadettes that rely on having babies to strength the bloodline hate sex
Yeah thats my gripe with this, in any normal situtation the town they built around the Belmont keep would have been overflowing with main branch Belmonts and related family members 50 years after the end of the original series, if anything Trevor would have know that the continued existance of the Belmont clan would have been at stake and made Sylpha a broodmother with at least 10 children.
at least this means that Simon doesn't exist in this horrible show
It's not that different from the games.
Actually it was a fact Belmonts fricked. There were enough descendants to fill a whole village in Order of Ecclesia.
>It's not that different from the games.
Debatable, many of the games make a point that while not being a clan numbering in the hundreds, the belmont clan are essentialy very secretive and they take their durty to vanquish Dracula every 100 years very seriously and only whe the best Belmont proves himself worthy is when they are given the Vampire Killer also what this anon said
while they might be a lot of descendants most of them do not have the potential to use the Vampire Killer at fulll power (see Portrait of Ruin and the Morris family)
Portrait of Ruin and Bloodlines are exactly what I was talking about. Belmonts did frick all for like 200 years.
If they had done frick all for 200 years and the bloodline diluted we wouldnt have gotten Julius at all (which is stated to be the ultimate fricking vampire killer in both might and magic)
>Chad
Simon followed by Julius. Simon literally said frick magic and went to Castlevania dressed in little armor as possible and fricked Drac with only muscles and sheer force of will twice. Julius is unorincally the culmination of the bloodline so thats a given.
>Cuck
Ricther for cursing the whipe and making the family go into hiding for 200 years the worst bad end ever.
>washed out old man Juste
Probably one of my more disliked things in the show. I don't like how he's old and weak simply because he's either got no one left he loves or he is old which sucks because Juste has some cool-ass powers.
Juste got JUSTD the exact same way Richter got rekt with his magic skills in the beginning of this season, he watched two of his loved ones die and the PTSD was so bad he never could recover from it. I do think its a valid enough reason for him to let himself go but they still did him dirty.
I ran out of steam during the first season after Whipping Boy inexplicably killed Godbrand. Apparently Alucard, Belmont and Speaker Chick are all fricking each other by season 2? And there was a season 3, and now there's a new show? Frick, this is like when I found out there's like two more seasons of Dragon Prince.
How's Bathory in this? Is she just OC, a Dracula-sama cultist like in Bloodlines or something more in line with the classic horror movies like Countess Dracula and Legend of Blood Castle?
Pretty much just an OC. They don't really say she's a lesbian but she seems to prey on women specifically, claims to actually be Sekhmet, and later has a transformation where she gets a lioness face.
If they really wanted an anachronistic Egyptian villain, they should've gotten Astarte from Portrait of Ruin. She even comes pre-BLACKED.
Barthory is white as the moon in the show.
To be fair to them, doing the monster mash thing in a show that's aiming for the modern "adult audience" is a bit difficult to pull off. You're adapting a series that haphazardly throws mythology, religion and old horror movies into a blender, so you're obliged to put that in there but on the other hand they also want the grimdark post-GoT dark fantasy audience who would be put off by overtly silly stuff done for the sake of fun.
>they also want the grimdark post-GoT dark fantasy audience
Frick 'em. Should've asked for Suikoden if they want their politics.
which Belmont is the most "chad" and which is the most "cuck"?
>Chad
Simon or Julius. Julius for killing Dracula 4 REAL, Simon for killing Dracula twice without being a b***h about it even when he was under a curse.
>Cuck
Probably Richter because he fricked up hard enough that his family gave up the whip for centuries.
Yeah Simon and Julius are most chad and Richter gets cucked the hardest, but my personal pick for most chad behaviour was Juste showing up to Dracula's castle, wasting time hauling around furniture to redecorate a room to be as gaudy as possible to spite Dracula, then later gaslighting his girlfriend. What a pimp.
Leon was also the autistic chad, he'd just say whatever he wanted off the top of his dome, no matter how stupid it sounded, and would fluctuate wildly between soft-spoken and UNNECESSARILY OVERLY LOUD AND IMPASSIONED! It takes more balls to be that wildly uncool than it does to be traditionally cool, so he wraps back around to "utterly amazingly based"
Curse of Darkness Trevor also was great fun, an overly aggressive chimp who substitutes out his conflict resolution skills for conflict creation skills.
>Leon was also the autistic chad
I liked him in that movie with Billy Crystal.
God I hope Netflixvania dies here. I know for a fact they'll go for Soma next, that pajeet frick Adi has been creaming his pants about doing so.
I really liked Lords of Shadow for the gameplay and aesthetic. I dont understand why the 2nd game was futuristic though
Everyone ranted and raved about the twist ending in 1, so I'm pretty sure they must have thought they needed to twist it even further and say it was the future, not just the present
Where can I watch this without going to netflix?
Torrents
How much Antichrist worship does this show have compared to the pervious show?
If he showed up like 10 minutes earlier they could've saved Tera lmao.
Also they nerfed the shit out of both Richter and Maria, each could 1v1 Dracula and win, and here they're barely able to hold themselves against some mooks.
>each could 1v1 Dracula and win
Canonically Richter does it with Maria's help.
Alucard really did let them down. He hasn't been a good friend to the Belmont clan, I hope he gets shit over that.
It's still the beginning of the story moron, they can't be level 100 when fighting the first boss. They're already too overpowered as it is.
NO THE OPENING CREDITS SHOULD HAVE THEM KILL THE FINAL BOSS
Rondo of Blood literally opens with Richter beating the shit out of death, who's second only to Dracula in power, until it has to "retreat"(i.e. run away).
Symphony of the Night begins with max level Richter beating Dracula, so...
And he isn't the final boss for that game. Nocturne is all about Erzsebet and her eclipse stuff.
Oh wait I guess it is Drac but I couldn't remember that at all since he looks like a fricking JRPG boss, like he goes completely Sephiroth.
I like the idea of Dracula's cape being a sort of Spawn-esque monster itself.
People don't mention this much, but ever notice that Graham's demonic transformation is a kind of fricked up pastiche of Dracula's cape in SotN? The Igarashi stuff was full of fun little visual callbacks. Like how there's portraits of Matthias in Dawn of Sorrow.
She's so fricking cute holy shit, bless whoever managed to convince the art director to keep her Dracula X Chronicles design intact. A pity Richter is a haggay with jungle fever and thus will choose nu-anette over her.
Such a cute and spunky little hothead
and here comes the fricking shills
Her design was one of the show's few saving graces.
>The whole turning vampire into Tera sequence.
Frick me that was something else for sure.
Yeah I'm looking forward to seeing how she acts in season 2, really curious about it
I wonder if she's meant to be Erzsebet's bride too essentially
I'm unironically torn about what happened to her, if she had sacrificed herself to be Maria then I would have been able to live with it (as Anette and Ritcher alredy had theirs moms killed too) but Lion Queen turning her into a vampire is the most cruelest shit ever.
My dick does look foward for her to become a succu-vampire mommy that does a 180 degree change in personality.
I hope she turns Annette too and gets flirty with Maria while taunting her over being a virgin, I want to see Tera's character completely desecrated. I'm guessing she's supposed to completely replace Drolta.
Summoning > everything else
positive
>ricther getting magic back was a cool scene
>juste is still a joke
>my daughter Maria is still cute
negative
>church is evil, again
>shitty current social commentary
>they still refuse to use more Castlevania music during fights
>8 episodes of prologue
>Richter is a fricking jobber
>Animation is often shit
4/10
>my daughter Maria is still cute
Black person are you high or just fricktarded?
Olrox, as he is in Symphony of the Night, is basically a 1:1 copy of Count Orlok from Nosferatu that turns into a demon gecko during his boss fight. In Netflixvania he's a gay Mesoamerican who turns into Quetzalcoatl, so basically OC but beyond that he's OC that defeats the whole purpose of the character existing to begin with.
HOLY FRICK HE IS BEAUTIFUL
Yeah they really made him pretty
why do all of the men have long loose hair in this series? wouldnt that be a hindrance in battle?
Because Ayami Kojima is an actual fujo.
They're just morons, they made him quite interesting with the whole Aztec dragon god aspect.
Yeah sure, but why not just actually make him an original character then if the whole point of him was to just be a pastiche of an iconic movie monster?
All of your complaints apply to his very existence as a version of Orlok, they took him and changed him to make him more interesting. The show did the same thing and he's an actual character now. I actually want to see the story of his life and how he came to be.
All you do by making a character that is so different from Orlok that he is only Orlok in name is disappoint all the people that want to see an accurate adaptation of Orlok. They could have kept this version and given him an original name and nobody would complain.
>disappoint all the people that want to see an accurate adaptation of Orlok
All 1 of you LOL, holy shit who in the world is a fricking Olrox fan? He appeared in ONE game out of fricking 30 some for a single boss fight I can't believe how insane you sound
Not who you're replying to or the original guy, but I like him! Who doesn't like Orlok? He's iconic for a reason.
Plus it helps that the Werner Herzog Noferatu remake is a classic and one of the absolute best vampire movies ever made.
We're talking about Olrox and nobody is a fan of Olrox from the games. He has 1 boss fight and never returns and has no spoken lines or anything. His transformation makes him worse too, just a generic green elongated man. Aztec dragon god Olrox is way more interesting.
not him but frick off, the gecko is cool as shit. also he's in that aria of sorrow sequel light novel where he tries to exploit the power vacuum left by graham and celia's deaths before death wises up and goes after him
It's not even a gecko, it's stupid and so are you ya dumb samegay
What the frick did you just fricking say about me, you little b***h? I'll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and I've been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in gorilla warfare and I'm the top sniper in the entire US armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the frick out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fricking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fricker. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You're fricking dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that's just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the United States Marine Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little "clever" comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fricking tongue. But you couldn't, you didn't, and now you're paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will shit fury all over you and you will drown in it. You're fricking dead, kiddo.
>nobody is a fan of Olrox from the games
I am, sorry gayshitter.
Lame samehomosexualry.
>Plus it helps that the Werner Herzog Noferatu remake is a classic
The original Nosferatu is also a classic. I like it more than Herzog's.
Unpopular opinion but I don't think it holds up all that well, neither does the Universal Dracula.
All you do by making a character that is so different from Dracula that he is only Dracula in name is disappoint all the people that want to see an accurate adaptation of Dracula. They could have kept this version and given him an original name and nobody would complain
Yeah, you can basically apply it to this entire adaptation of Castlevania.
No doubt they're fishing for diversitybux, especially when you consider that the co-director looks like Daniel Kibblesmith, but also consider that they may not have wanted a faithful version of Orlok/Olrox being overshadowed by the upcoming Robert Eggers Nosferatu remake
>chuds: "NOOO LIBTARDS, YOU CANT MAKE 17TH CENTURY CHRISTIAN WHITE PROTAGS TO BE GAY BROWN COMMUNISTS IT IS HISTORICALLY INNACCURACY AND CRINGE! CRINGE WOKE CRINGE CRINGE POZZ *embeds screencaps of gay sex*"
>leftists: "watch me lmao" *earns billions and becomes pop culture icon*
Come again?
Love how this rant drove you morons to absolute madness
Is Richter /ourguy/?
Wonder if we'll see them turned later
>This scene
Those girls were lusting hard for Ritcher it was insane. I felt appalled even at how direct they were in their comments.
PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP
God I hate the French.
That's nice, Frenchie
Not even White.
>The frogs are posting now
It's your own fault for being delicious
>commies can't wri-ACK!
Cope, pig wienerscuker.
>commies that work for a capitalistic regime...
>sells out
>complains about the shitty sequels to a comic that has a political opinion that aged like milk
>donates money to proven griff movement
Maria needs grape correction so bad. Damn brat.
>asking for realism on a fricking vampire anime
That's why capitalist wienersuckers sucks so much at writing...
did someone say LIZ LOVE?
Liz HATE
Looking forward to all the fan art
I feel like people where whining in advance too hard about Maria. Yeah, they made her smug bratty girl when it the game she was a plucky magical girl, but it's not like she was "strong female character (tm)." She spent the whole show getting saved by Richter. Anette also didn't do that much after her introduction and in the finale she was stuck "fighting" against the machine thing.
I'm just glad she didn't get the Annette treatment nor was aged up.
I'm Catholic and I hate the French Revolution.
You guys know that the next Belmont after Richter is Julius and if Annette is black....
We're getting mad about shit that hasn't happened yet now?
They're 200 years removed from one another.
You think Netflixvania will care? Plus Julius is a ginger
Just ripping that bandaid asap.
>Plus Julius is a ginger
Let's go Jules Belmont
>Jules teaches Soma how to dougie
Pretty sure they're jumping into the far future unless they do SOTN. (They do seem to like Alucard) They're doing their whole shared universe with DMC after all.
>the belmont clan after Richter can't use the whip and have to give it to the Morrises not because Richter got SHAFTED but because his descendants now are part black
uhhhh Netflix you did NOT think the optics of this through
>only whites can crack the whip
jesus christ
>The purification process is Blanqueamiento
>People in the Belmont bloodline are too bloodthirsty
kek
gay christ paladin guy is kinda cool
Yeah I wound up liking him.
okay it was kinda funny that gay paladin guy was upset that the abbot had a daughter but he's perfectly fine with fricking men in the ass
Well I guess in his perspective it doesn't count. Nor is he producing any offspring so...
there is something terrible about the audio mixing for voices in these shows, and also the dialogue is also really inorganic at times
>teenage maria gazing at her future husband, 300 years her senior
netflix jesus christ
Hot.
so it was okay but it was really rushed, am I supposed to believe Annette and Richter already have feelings for eachother?
>am I supposed to believe Annette and Richter already have feelings for eachother?
No. They make it pretty damn clear that Anette has feelings for Edouard. Her attitude towards Richter was more like a battle buddy than seeing him as a boyfriend.
Anon, no
She literally hugs Edouard in the last episode and throughout the season was all "noooo we need to go back for Edouard". In game they end up together but right now their relationship will probably develop in the next season or the one after (if it lives that long).
I'm confused
What's there to be confused about? Anon asked if we're supposed to believe Anette and Richter have feelings for each other now and I said no because Anette still clearly has feelings for Edouard. Her and Richter being romantic will be the next season or so.
Maybe go watch a few more episodes then.
Couldn't they be friends?
>Anette still clearly has feelings for Edouard. Her and Richter being romantic will be the next
Ah, understood
if juste doesn't show richter the room with all the decorations this series will be an instant 0/10
I know you netflix shills are watching this thread
Why was there no payoff for why Olrox spared Richter? He knew full well what Belmonts are and then just left him the frick alone for 9 years.
Very confused.
