NTA but completely unrelated to whatever that gay is seething about I've come to the conclusion that most creators today need to be forced to sit down and go back to the most basic forms of storytelling and relearn the basics, which when you get down to it is "Some burly dude who's strong or has an important weapon/blood goes on a long adventure for some reason." because all of these morons need to relearn how to tell a fricking story well, pacing, and how to make relatable, compelling, or interesting characters and if you don't know how the best way is to ape the masters until you learn the flow and feel of it.
Give most of these homosexuals pumping out dozens of these low quality ego trips serving as a life raft for them and their 3 closest friends from before Tumblr collapsed on itself that they can just shit out an episode a month for a weekly release schedule with a season of like 24-36 episodes and have them do a fricking plot about Gregor the Warrior having to find the lost princess and a magic sword to save the fallen kingdom from invading demons or some shit like with the people he meets along the way and make them beholden to making something their audience is interested in that isn't for them, rather than just jerking off and calling the resulting cumstains "good enough" because they're tired and it made THEM feel good so they don't care about anything else.
Do that until they either starve to death and are drummed out of the industry, or they learn how to construct a fricking plot, world, and characters without fricking it all up and pace it well rather than shoving their shit into one morass, and then frick around until they nearly run out of episodes and have to speed through the plot notes they wrote on a napkin two years ago in 6 episodes.

Funny thing is, you could still do this and have a female protagonist by just changing Gregor into a chick and changing nothing else about his/her personality. It really is that easy. Best of both worlds. No one will do that though, because giving a heroine the same conventionally admirable traits of a male hero is “internalized misogyny” or whatever, which is why everyone has to be a snarky sarcastic girlboss who acts like an unlikeable c**t to everyone now.
