We actually had a ghetto storytime of the raw manga, with some barely literate japanese student anon translating.
I thought it was a about Otto getting turned into a little girl through karma or something.
Him possessing an existing little girl as she helplessly observes his actions is just creepy.
He's not some ambiguous demon who can get away with that shit, he's literally an ugly villainous ojisan. This is like Marvel's own Kiss Players at this point.
No. One of Dr Octopus's super science gadget misfires, and he ends up sharing the brain of a japanese middle school student in a coma.
The first issues where okay. Is it any good?
It beats out every other spiderman ongoing in writing. . And I'm going to include into the spiderverse in that.
He was a tulpa from chapter 1, the writer actually read the original superior arc so the girl's mind was still in the body and the first thing he invented was a some mind swapping hair thing to let them both be around via holograms and trade control of the body.
and the SECOND thing he does is FRICK UP HER TWINTAILS!
Sure why not. We canonically had Gwen Stacy fricking a Goblin, Peter making a deal with the Devil and The Clone Saga. This isn't that weird by comic standards.

I read this recently and it was a lot better than the summary makes it sound, especially once Superior Octopus gets involved. I'm glad it's finally getting an official translation.
I only read the first few chapters on Cinemaphile on but it's actually cool, it's pretty much written as a sequel to Superior. I just checked out the latest chapter and it seems to have gone even further in that direction, also it seems like it dropped the body swap gimmick and Otto is now a tulpa mentoring the girl and her group of friends that are all based on Spider-man villanis

For anyone wondering the tl;dr for how Ock becomes a little girl it's basically.
Parker Incorporated goes under and all the tech ended up getting sold off or locked in storage, one of the brain scanning devices Ock used to possess Spider-Man back in Superior ends up in a Japanese hospital getting used as a portable MRI used on Otoha. Separately Ock ends up in a coma while fighting Spider-Man which initiates his clone backup procedure and gets his mind jammed into a little girls body. Then because he's a genius he pulls some tech out of storage and filters the two sets of brainwaves so he's sharing a body with the girl and promises to improve her life whether she likes it or not.
Hopefully, it's not like there's a lot of competition anyway. I only buy trades when there's a particular arc I like and basically everything Spider-Man has been shit for well over a year at this point except Lost Hunt.
At least this will be a good self-contained story that will presumably be complete by the time the official releases start.
Have they done anything goblin-related?
Outside of a brief allusion to Red Goblin when Otto's talking about how much being a hero sucks, no. The antagonists are Superior Octopus and Vulture (Girl).
/a/.
if live action spider-man films are allowed to be discussed here, then there's no reason that spider-man comics drawn by someone from japan shouldn't.
Toei Spiderman and the 70's Spiderman manga were kino
Hilarity.

>and the SECOND thing he does is FRICK UP HER TWINTAILS!
DOC OC IS THE WORST VILLIAN EVER!
OFFICIAL US RELEASE BABY!
>and the SECOND thing he does is FRICK UP HER TWINTAILS!
Oh yeah. That was unforgivable.
THEY PROMISED US THIS! AND THEN DOC OCK TOOK IT AWAY!
Doc ock's nature is a spaghetti spilling machine.
I AM SO MAD, I FORGOT THE PIC.
>doujinshi
>e-girl
>body swap
>corruption
>tfw you scam the Yankees into paying you to publish a giant shitpost about their beloved IP
Seems more like a genuine sexual fantasy than a shit post, but great grift regardless.
They already did it with MHA illegals.
Marvel/Jump probably know that pairing Spiderman and that duo wouldngive them money
I like the artist oneshot and previous series

How dare Doc Ock be that Cute

So he really is possessing her and she's aware it's happening?
They are sharing the body and not even trying to hide it or their identities.
The Superior Spider-Man for dickychads.
>fall 2024
Would anyone even care at that time? That's the last months before 2025.
The only good current Spider-Man series.
The first issues where okay. Is it any good?

A book that’s legitimate funnier and better than every current spider ongoing
Wait, fall? I already read this like a year ago or more.
Physical printing.
It’s still going but I assume this is just advertising the official US release
>black spider-man
Based and cool af
>pretty jp dock
Cringe and awful af
Why this duality?
This is twice Ock has done this shit. What is up with him and possessing people?
its a manga cant you read

Why is it that it takes Japan to do actual fricking research to do callbacks like this? Ewing aside.
Just let the fricking nips have Spider-Man already at this point. Or, at least, let them do an ongoing or some shit.
Because Marvel publishes in Japan?
Funny thing is this is going to outsell every modern spider trade

>Published by Viz instead of Marvel
I wonder if this is a shelving decision. Was One Op Joker shelved with manga or graphic novels in bookstores?
Late to the party, huh Cinemaphile?
Have they done anything goblin-related?
A fetish.
