RLM is at its funniest when they're seething over shit enjoyed by morons, but not fully articulating why. Very few shows on Youtube copy the Half in the Bag and Best of the Worst formats because it actually takes time edit those to make them look like organic conversation. You could just throw up a 5 hour live stream unedited because Youtube pays you by watch time and most people just use this stuff as background noise. What RLM is doing here is one part a completely valid point and two parts petty seething ie RLM at its best.

entirely depends on the connection, I remember having huge delays when I was in a meeting with a guy from south america
I've watched tons of the Critical Drinker's podcast, where he brings in tons of guests, and I've never seen them contend with a delay issue. There have been other tech issues for sure, but it's never been about delay.
It just seems like Mike has confusing the chat-stream delay with something else.

I remember when they did the first nerd crew videos, I was aware of the kind of podcasts they were making fun of but I'd never actually watched/listened to any of them til after, was surprised at how much worse the real thing was, nerd crew barely scratched the surface of how obnoxious they were.
