        Yes, yes very good... HOWEVER
80's Stars sweeps. That song got me into Franco Battiato, who is to this day my favourite singer-songwriter. I miss that lil Black person like you wouldn't believe. 80's Stars is also poignant in the same way that Woody Allen's Midnight In Paris is. All those authors and artists didn't grasp that they were in the middle of a golden age, they were just yearning for the days of the old masters, and here you have 90's Europop, which will always have a soft spot in most people's hearts, and they just wanna go back to 80's Italo Disco. And look at the lyrics of the fricking song they sample:
I'm searching for a permanent centre of gravity, that will never make me change my mind about the world, and others.
We're doomed to keep making the most human mistakes of all. I love Eiffel 65. I love Il Maestro. I love Europop. I love Italo Disco.

the whole 90s - aqua, vengaboys
then there's dragostea din tei, everytime we touch
then there's gangnam style, what does the fox say (those are not really eurostyle, but why not)

now pop music doesn't exist outside of government-controlled entities and the remnants of 2000s music. so no more eurodance wonders :'(

Around the late 90s everyone was obsessed with the future because y2k was nearing and electronic is the default sound of futuristic music.

OH SHIT homie IS THIS A FRICKING EIFFEL 65 THREAD
I'm obligated to let you all know that the lil' blue homies have a backstory, chiefly the main alien who is identical to all the other aliens. His name is Zorotlekuykauo Sushik IV or just "Zorotl" and clearly someone at Eiffel 65 or Bliss Corporation had a soft spot, because they gave him his own single that fricking DOUBLES DOWN on the ReBoot CGI and gives you so much lore you don't know what to do with it. I had the CD as a kid and saw the music video and I felt like my fricking head was going to burst. I tried to tell other kids about how the "I'm Blue" Alien is currently on a diplomatic mission to develop the Universal Language and I had the school councilor talk to me. I caught the video on tape and transcribed the entire Star Wars-style text crawl on paper (watch the music video and it'll quickly dawn on you the nature of this task) and then I found out he had an official website with the same lore available there. Did you know that writing down information by hand does wonders for memory retention? You're almost certain to never forget it. Now I have all this information in my head, I don't know what to do with it and it's not going anywhere. I could've learnt about Sino-Russian conflicts instead. The lore expands upon the events of the "I'm Blue" video as well, if you're curious. Jeffrey Jey, Maurizio and Gabry Ponte all have a role to play. Read at your own peril.
