Ducks are underrated animals.
Why ducks, but not geese? Imagine having an animal that spasms in order to eat as your protagonist lmao.
I fricking love ducks.
It's crazy how Indiana Jones was the very first action adventure serial and wasn't in itself an homage.

They can open wine bottles.
It's almost like everything is just imitation and iterarion
It's true
Indiana Jones was a copy of the comics that inspired DuckTales, the opening of Raiders is a direct lift from a Carl Barks story.
This. Indiana Jones and Uncle Scrooge should be the other way around.
Ducks are neat.
Man, no one likes seagulls. I watch the crows frick with them when they come inland for the winter.
Is that why the Ducktales reboot crashed and burned? Because they were copying something that already had ducks in it?
No, because they tried to do a revival of the Carl Barks and Don Rosa comics as well as a revival of the Disney Afternoon cinematic universe, but it all came to nothing. They particularly pissed off certain fans, especially fans of the Don Rosa comics and the Talespin series, myself included, and they focused too much on the kids, instead of Donald and Scrooge, who should be the main characters. After all, they gave too many references without meaning, just to attract a nostalgic audience.
