You can easily buy a used BPCC w/lens for under 1k. All sort of film school and movie maker wannabes have splurged on them but them realized it actually takes technological knowledge and skill earned through experience, plus creative talent to make kino. Thousands give up every month and they to sell.
Frankly is you want to make a kind, spend $50 for filmicpro app on your iPhone and a tripod. Maybe add an external shotgun mic ($75 on Amazon) or Bluetooth mic that you can hide on talent. That’s all you need.
