How do you respond without seeming mad?

it's the strong female concept Cameron also portrays in Aliens. In both these movies the woman is strong mainly because of maternal instinct. She's teling him "men like you create destruction, but you don't know what it's like to grow life inside of you". so yeah it makes sense a woman like Connor would use those arguments.

Because that’s how people talk these days. Also, if you get mad, you’re wrong, even if you’re right.

    >women can breed with a single man and produce a child in 9 months
    >men can breed with multiple women and produce multiple children in 9 months

Not only do we know what it's like to "create life", but unlike women, we also know what it's like to create nations.

Why was James Cameron so utterly enamored by the idea of powerful women? Was it just a gimmick he adopted because it put women in the seats, you know, so that the female audience could watch his films. Or did he genuinely feel for women despite the reality being more grey than black and white? Or was he secretly some kind of bdsm fetishist?
Anyway, my reply to this would be "big deal dumbfrick. Everyone has biological roles that they have to fulfill. You're not a special snowflake for birthing kids. 50 billion women came before you who birthed children".
