I watched Goodburger the other day. It's free on youtube. Compared to the absolute shit they churn out today it wasn't actually that bad. You gotta get a little drunk though.Or at least, I was when I watched it and it made it more enjoyable.
GoodBurger is one of the best paced comedies in that they save the funnier jokes and set pieces for the end

Paranormal Activity 7. Believe it or not, it wasn't bad as far as PA movies go. I would rank it easily Second or first simply because it's not boring.
Rumble in the Bronx. I watched it for the first time in probably 20 years. It holds up. It was a lot sillier than I remember it being as a kid. The action sequences were fantastic.

I watched a couple this weekend. I watched Pixar's Soul on Saturday and Strange Days yesterday.
I really dug Soul. Easily my favorite Pixar movie since Wall-E.
Strange Days was fun. The murder mystery was pretty braindead and some of the dialogue was unbelievably corny, but I still liked it.
I watched Fargo and I didn't like it.
I wasn't that into Fargo when I first watched it but I liked it a lot when I rewatched it.

I was woken up by a noisy shit at 5:30am, he made noise for an hour before finally leaving.. then another made noise from 7 to 7;30am
it is now 11am and I've been lying here trying to fall back to sleep so I can rest enough hours that I'll be able to function during the day and having caught another minute of sleep even.
people who wake up before 9am should be sent to a penal colony or just shot.
What kind of noise did they make and are they roommates or neighbors? And does roommate have one m or two ms?

roommate has two ms according to the spellcheck but it probably only needs one.
the noise is wearing hard shoes on a hard floor and spending 45 minutes getting ready while walking up and down the corridor 50 times and slamming things without the slightest consideration.
the second one was quieter but the damage was done.
it's been like this every week day so far, I only managed to sleep on fri/sat night because they didn't have work at the crack of dawn.
I find myself rewatching a lot of movies these days, rewatched Bladerunner and BR 2049 about 2 weeks ago, rewatched the Dune miniseries and Dune 2021 last week, rewatched the Fifth Element yesterday, gonna watch My Dinner with Andre tonight, and I rewatch episodes of shows, Breaking Bad, The Wire, Carnivalle, I might start Barry soon.

I watch movies when I'm at work, everyone is watching movies all the time on ships. Yesterday I've seen Vox Lux and I didn't like it. When I'm at home I just download more movies but I don't watch them.

I watched Heaven's Gate last night to see what the deal really is with it since it's notorious.
Not bad overall, a decent western but scenes go on forever and I'm not sure the 3 hour 40 minute runtime was justified. However, having said that I can say it has some of the most spectacular scenes ever put on film and the range war at the end is up there with favourite battle scenes on film.
It doesn't deserve the shit talking it gets but I can see why it's not popular.
The notoriety has a lot less to do with the finished movie itself than it does with how much the studio spent on it, same as with Waterworld and Ishtar. In Heaven's case it did bankrupt the studio so the venom's a bit more warranted.
The stories from production are real crazy shit, like having a town demolished and rebuilt because the road was 6 feet too narrow, waiting hours for a cloud to come into frame,I think I read the Harvard dance scene alone took over 3 weeks to get right.
If you haven't watched it you probably should. Particularly if you've watched a lot of westerns, you'll probably appreciate it a little more.
I've got moviepass and a regal subscription so I go to about ten movies a week. Saw a showing of Raiders of the Lost Ark last night and I'll go to another theater showing Labyrinth later today. Don't watch much at home these days though.
Why would I watch films? They're all shit. Just bad. Every film ever made is absolute excrement and I feel everyone else needs to know this. It is my god given duty to remind you of how awful everything that makes you happy actually is. This is why I browse Cinemaphile

I watch a new movie every other day. Yesterday was a rewatch of Infernal Affairs 2 in preparation for the last one of the trilogy which I've never seen.
If cinema tickets were cheaper where I live I'd go see current releases. As it is, I'll wait 'til they're free.
I actually watch movies on Tik-Tok. There are a lot of blogs that post the best and wittiest scenes from movies. Why would I waste time on the whole movie when I can watch a selection of the best scenes from twenty movies in an hour
