She looks exactly like an old crush of mine. I will never forgive myself for falling for her
She opuld still get it on Workaholics.
should I watch movie?
should I watch show?
>should I watch movie?
Yes.
>should I watch show?
No.
The first few seasons with Colonel Blake are still decent and easy to watch through. it starts to go downhill after his actor left and then falls off almost entirely once Alan Alda got control of it all decided every single episode has to be "war is..... LE BAD!"
it good until Frank Burns leaves. it's unwatchable towards the end when they all get along.
Frank was definitely the best antagonist. Winchester starts out alright but they're all too chummy by the end since he's actually a competent surgeon. The other thing I noticed on rewatch is just how much better Trapper is than BJ. I never really noticed watching it as a kid just how quickly the quality of the characters drops as it goes.
>"war is..... LE BAD!"
Who knew?
I like Alda and the Groucho routine, but stil Futurama pretty much nailed that show:
The original NORMAL WORDS BUT A HORSE GUY
The show was great in the late 2000s as a school kid with nothing better to do, but I cant imagine intentionally sitting down to watch it
The movie is superior in most every way. The show is only good for nostalgic boomers. I suggest watching Altman's other movies as well great director
I loved MASH, but hated Long Goodbye. Will I enjoy Nashville and Ms Gabe?
>movie
unironically yes, black comedy at its best
>show
it's the last gasp of vaudeville style humor, for that I'd say yes. but really probably not if you dont immediately get comfy vibes from nostalgia
They're both worth a watch. But which one's better comes down to taste. Best comparison I can give is that it is like Star Gate movie and SG-1.
Movie is a lot more edgier and grittier. But it kinda drags on in places. Hot Lips gets straight-up abused by today's standards.
Series is funnier, once it gets into stride. But eventually turns kinda preachy. A few nice camel-toes here and there. The original kind of hot lips.
No, it’s boomer slop for back when there were only 3 channels.
Respect your time more.
One day I accidentally flipped to that one satellite tv channel that was always playing MASH, and I just began watching it. It never seemed like the type of show that would interest me. As a child, I hated it when my parents watched it. But for some reason, I ended up watching an entire episode. And i wanted to watch more episodes after that. Before I knew it, I watchd every episode of every season.
Dish to the rescue.
I find the show unwatchable till bj shows up and the show even more watchable once frank leaves. I preferred the show when the characters were all pals and the occasional antagonist came from outside.
>cool song
>ruined by hippie nihilist bullshit lyrics
Every song from vietnam era
>Caring about lyrics
lol The voice is just another instrument, bro. You don't listen to the guitar and try to tell what it's saying, do you?
>You don't listen to the guitar and try to tell what it's saying, do you?
>he has never had a guitar gently weep him
tsk tsk tsk
isolating instruments and focusing on their melody is what makes listening to songs over and over interesting.
Really? For me it's banging to the riffs and screaming with the chorus.
I think you might just be a homosexual.
The song was literally written by a 15 year old in 5 minutes, it's no surprise the lyrics are cringy shit.
>Bob was going to take a shot at the lyrics. But he came back two days later and said, "I’m sorry but there’s just too much stuff in this 45-year-old brain. I can’t write anything nearly as stupid as what we need."
>Bob said, "All is not lost. I’ve got a 15-year-old kid who’s a total idiot." So Michael Altman, at age 15, wrote the lyrics, and then I wrote the music to them
My sides.
I actually like it. It has a good message.
Suicide is painless.... You can do the same thing after me.
Wasn'thewhole point of it that it was a fricking stupid song
JEWICIDE IS PAINLESS
IT BRINGS ON MANY CHANGES
NO MORE Black folk OR DEGENERACY
Did they really make women into military officers during the Korean War?
That sounds like a recipe for disaster
Obviously it was not a disaster. Women are still plenty capable nurses and doctors, which would be officer ranks. Stop being a moron.
Yeah! You tell that stupid sexist CHUD!
Oh wait... Remind me how the Korean War ended again?
Allies ended with a 20:1 K:D ratio over the commies
have you ever heard of the malaysian chest implosion torture?
