You know, when I first watched this series I thought Skylar was a major moronic prostitute b***h who ruined everything constantly. But upon rewatching, Skylar is almost more badass than Walt is, just in a different way.

Yeah I thought she was a huge b***h at first, but she wasn't so bad really
>Walt, what did that call mean?
What is she referring to here? I'm guessing it's implying walt called her on the way home to get packed and ready to go?
Why did he kill the dog?
I obviously get why they didn’t want to show the murder of a dog onscreen, but there seriously wasn’t a way to show it at all like in a clever, artful way so the audience wasn’t confused? Like we never even see the dog as far as I remember. Was it a cable ratings thing?
I can never tell if people are being moronic about this or are that oblivious that he's talking about Gale
Why would he be talking about Gale? Gale wasn't a dog.
He felt guilty about murdering Gale. He wanted to vent about it, but obviously he can't tell people he murdered someone. So instead of telling them he killed a person, he just says he killed a "dog" instead. That way he can still express his remorse and guilt without revealing the fact that he's guilty of murder.
Sounds like you're reaching tbh.
>moron can't into subtext
brainlet take
The episode is called "Problem Dog" and starts with Jesse replaying his murder of Gale in his head. They could not have made it any more obvious.
>Problem Dog
I think this is the issue people have with it. As far as I know, a dog is never before mentioned, and now suddenly Jesse is having a breakdown over having killed it. Lazy writing .
pseud
You're overanalyzing, the show isn't that deep.
I think it's just irrelevant which dog he killed, it'd be a waste of time to show it on screen. They just wanted to make a point that Jessie is a cat person.
there's always someone who gets memed on by the trolls and thinks he's the smart one in the room
>merely pretending
>He took the bait
LMAO
Completely idiotic
Who's Gale?
A strong current of air ranging from 32 to 63 miles per hour.
How do you know the dog's name?
Season 3 Skyler is one of the most beautiful women of all time
If you were against Skylar, you were literal manipulated by Walter.
I know I was
Yeah I was a lot younger when it came out
smokes while pregnant
Go to bed, Vince.
Congrats, you're older than the age of 21
>smoking while pregnant= good
>providing for family = bad
This. Skyler simps keep forgetting that Walt tries to keep the whole thing a secret to spare his family from his crimes. Fricking b***h Skyler does nothing but torment him while being just as bad as him once season 5 hits.
>S1E5
>Gray Matter offers to pay for Walt's treatment no questions asked
>Also offers him a job doing what he loves
>All he has to do is swallow his pride
>Walt says no
>He dies. He's family is ruined and has no money
Sounds like you didn't get what the show is about. He needed more money and not just money for the treatment. Keep watching Sopranos instead. It's better suited for brainlets like you.
That's not even what happened, dumbass.
there's always someone who gets memed on by the trolls and thinks he's the smart one in the room
You are of subhuman intellect.
Hey stop pretending to be me
>calls others brainlets
>doesn't understand the basic fundamentals of the show he's watching
Ironic. Elliot offered to both pay his treatment and give him a high paying job. It was a total and complete solution to his problems and he turned it down so he could manufacture a controlled substance for a psychopath (twice) and murder children because he couldn't stand the fact that Elliot was dating his ex even though Walt was currently married to a more attractive blonde at the time. YOU didn't get what the show is about. It's about how a seemingly mild-mannered domesticated suburbanite turns into a monster. Vince Gilligan said as much, and it's his fricking show.
His motivation was that life had kicked the shit out of him for like 20 years and he wanted to get some of his pride back before he died
>murder children
this never happened
Pride is more valuable than money
Except his whole justification for doing all the horrible shit he did was money. Checkmate waltgays
... He wants to leave a legacy, even as a druglord, the first season hammer this idea, its not about money, not about the family, not about pride, its about legacy, he feels like he wasted his life and want to leave a mark on the world, whatever the cost.
I started skipping solo Skylar scenes or her subplot with her boss (still watched the scenes with her and Walter obviously) I decided to do this while it was airing. It improved my viewing experience tenfold. I still do that when I rewatch it.
Am I the only one that thought breaking bad was overrated? I never felt bad or any tension for anybody in the show because they were all selfish greedy buttholes that were each the cause of all of their own problems. Someone died? Meh, they deserved it. Seriously. They make and sell meth. Jesse was the only one I was marginally interested and that was only the last season when he cleaned his shit up.
You are the only one. Sopranos, now that horrible show was extremely overrated.
Hank and Gomez deserved to die?
Hank was a racist piece of shit so yes.
Totally agree. The kid, all those people in the plane, Hank, all sold meth. They all deserved it.
>I received Teds cum
remember when walt tried to rape her one time and then it was never acknowledged again
you can't rape your own wife anon
People don't hate Skylar because she is a bad person, people hate her because she is annoying.
>implying that's all she did
She fricked Ted okay whatever but then give him a shitload of money for some fricking reason and also gets involved with the money laundering when she had no reason to.
>She fricked Ted okay whatever but then give him a shitload of money
Skyler gave money to Ted so he could pay fee to IRS. If she didn't, IRS would've sniffed out Skyler and Walter's money scheme after Ted.
he killed the nazis. he actually killed lots of very dangerous criminals and left new mexico a safer place
>happy birthday Mr president
This is all I need to justify hating Skylar
congrats, you finally grew up
who the frick is Jesse???
the fact they used the same actor for the Diesel character was confusing. Was it an artistic choice?
One of the main characters you moronic speedwatcher
What movie
Star Wars
>169032517
>He still fell for it
>169032581
You were right the first time, sorry for your loss of cognitive function. Get well soon.
You'll understand once you lose your virginity.
i hate skylar because she constantly emasculated walt, shes basically responsible for creating heisenberg
>2022
>people STILL dont understand breaking bad
did you only pay attention to the drug and violence scenes or something
I started off thinking she was a huge b***h, but when I re-watched the series, I started to think that she was actually a huge c**t.
what did walt even see in her
>going anywhere beyond "I fricked Ted" in discussing the c**t
ishygddt
It's one of the EXTREMELY few actions taken by a character in the show where the purpose is exclusively to hurt another human being.
It literally serves no other purpose.
Even Salamancas did this rarely and they're supposed to be the batshit insane, unambiguously evil guys.
Even the fricking Nazis in the last season inflicted pain on others for some more pragmatic reason.
Skyler taking pleasure in hurting her husband is unique on the scale of an entire show about sociopaths, druglords, murderers and degenerates. There is something seriously wrong with anyone defending it.
skyler wanted to control walt and when she couldnt she lashed out and tried to emasculate him further than she already did to punish him
walt wanted to prove himself and leave a legacy yes but he never wanted to control skyler until after she made it clear she wanted to challenge him directly, if she hadnt let her own ego take over she would have lived a happier life
in a way shes not so different from walt
