You may not believe this, but once upon a time, long ago, in the early days of Cinemaphile we considered Tim Drake to be a very cool and masculine character and basically a harem protagonist.

I always thought Tim was a gay. I just didn't know he would actually end up being a homo.

Tim once served the generic self insert role of a young who is paired with lots of women. It’s in every fandom. Spider-Man, Jaune Arc, Marco Diaz….nowadays, no one self inserts as Damian cause he’s too young (and a b***h) and Tim suffers the worst case of middle child syndrome ever, so people make Nightwing the sex symbol and self insert who sexes all the ladies.

In a time period where Damian Wayne didn’t exist and Tim Drake was the self insert for young boys, he could get laid. But all his relationships and spotlight are gone, and he got turned bi as a marketing gimmick and because all the respect of his masculinity was wiped from existence

Maybe not masculine, Tim did always have big twink energy, but he was for a time DC's Peter Parker, a wish fulfillment character who could pull chicks well above his weight class,

just shows what damage one writer and lazy editorial can do characters in the long term for no real monetary benefit

We always though Tim was both a gay and a Harem protagonist. That was the joke, Girls were literally throwing themselves at him in every comic, but Tim never did anything with them. Heck, Spoiler put out, that's how she got pregnant, remember, and Tim still wouldn't do anything other than a chaste kiss, he broke up with Ariana because she put on lingerie for him and wanted to take things to "the next level".

Ariana was a crazy b***h and considering Tim used to be rich Steph probably pinged hard on his baby trap detector. Also once Dixon was off the book writers were much more open about him and Steph getting physical. But something a lot of people forget when discussing Tim's love life is that until the mid-00s Tim was 14-16 years old so its not like DC was going to show him laying pipe.

      >The 'ol Dc didn't let Dixon make porn about 14 year old Tim Drake crushing puss he must've been gay
      Further proof timgays are autistic

To be fair, Denny O'Neil insisted that Bruce was a chaste gentleman who reserved sex for his wife (Talia, maybe occasionally Selina), and tons of yaoi fangirls love making Bruce gay and allergic to women. So the phenomenon is not exclusive to Tim.

Once upon a time, Tim fans thought he wanted to frick Kon.

You can have a sex scene without it becoming porn, coomer.

No one that was the character's target audience(straight boys age 10-25) was thinking the character was gay. That's all terminally online loonies

We really didn't. This was the era we memed that Tim was the eternal virgin gay for Con and should anhero. This was the work of a coping Timgay trying to follow b***hes love Dick

Tim was either oblivious or resistant against any girl's advances with the exception of Stephanie and some girls in Red Robin and even that felt forced. So you're right in him being like a harem protagonist.

Ravager trying to seduce Tim was sad, not sexy. She was raised in a prostitutehouse, remember? She thought Cassie was going to kick her out where Deathstroke could get her again. So she got drunk, got naked, and tried to frick Tim. It’s sad.
