Scamdemic killed IRL gatherings for two or three years and companies realized they didn't need to have these conventions to do their PR shit anymore and could just do it themselves so all these big name conventions and trade shows that exist for no reason anymore other than advertising upcoming shit, like E3 and SDCC, no longer serve any purpose and are dying. This will kill the larger convention industry and cons will go back to being smaller, local, fan focused things like they should have been all along.

>At least, that’s what studios across the industry are anticipating. If SAG-AFTRA and the AMPTP cannot come to terms by the June 30 contract deadline and the guild goes on strike, actors will almost certainly join writers and showrunners in sitting out promotional events like Comic-Con, leaving studios with almost no one to populate panels in front of thousands of expectant fans.
>Complaining about the studio execs for losing insurance and continuing to profit off her work
This is incredibly deceptive. She's losing her insurance because SAG is dropping her. They require all members to have one acting credit per year to retain membership. This is why you see all these old actors in shitty Redbox movies.
As for studios continuing to make money off her performance, they're probably still paying residuals. SAG is the one collecting on her behalf.
Comic cons, big ones at least, cannot survive without normies.
>existential threat
lol what happened this time
I think they're referring to the looming actors strike

Made me annoyed for some reason
Everyone is gone, Games Workshop will break through the ceiling and shill their shit.
Yeah right, what are they going to shill, their animated shows? All 7 of them with less episodes between them than the entire Batman animated series?
They don't even care, they break through the ceiling and shill their shit, they shill their shit EVERYWHERE.
Frick GW. They killed my army.
Settle down they'll be back on top in the near future, then back on the bottom, then the top again etc.
They won’t be. They aren’t even an army anymore. They got souped into Elder.
Can’t run solo Harlequins anymore.
