They made a first episode/mini-movie that was pretty good, but the series was pretty bad, as cartoons tended to be back then.

Good toys. They were huge. StarCom also had great toys, probably the best spaceship ones on the market at the time. I recall the cartoon being pretty decent as well, probably because it didn't need to be as toyetic as others, since it inherently featured the ships just through the premise.
I had an old promo vhs tape that had toy commercials included I wished I could own them but they stopped selling them by the time I got to watching the tape.

They had serious production issues. A lot of deadlines missed, stuff like that.
Also the toys were expensive as frick.
