It's so bad it's actually good movies are really fun to watch.
The intro of the one where the nerf guy is closing up shop is amazing
found it
My favourite part is when that nerd throws an apple at something and starts a chain of events which culminate in a small civil war
My favorite is when Tackleberry hears an acorn fall on his squad car and starts shooting at it screaming about "Shots Fired!"
That doesn't apply to comedies. Police Academy was just silly and comfy, which made it good to watch
what exactly is bad about it you stupid moron?
some scenes are literally "this guy makes sounds with his mouth"
And they're hysterical as intended, so that's a good comedy.
Guttenberg pissed off after the 4th one thats how bad it got.
Why do you think I took you to all those "Police Academy" movies, for fun? Well, I didn't hear anybody laughing. Did you?
Joe Rogan says that Guttenberg acted like he was "the best friend" of Phil Hartman even though these two were never friends. He was on the news constantly after Hartman dying. He claims Guttenberg acted very weird. I could believe it, Guttenberg seems like the biggest rat of hollywood
Surprised there hasn’t been a remake
It’s not cool to like the police these days
A remake would be insufferable woke trash focused on systemic racism and racial equity.
gotta give the people what they want
They would just make Mahoney black
So, exactly like the first one?
The bad guys in Police Academy were racists.
I honestly think a new PA movie could break the partisan divide by showing both sides of police work in the 21st century.
Characters who date at the blue oyster sign up for the force, because the old guard is still to chicken-shit to enforce in there.
Tackleberry as a living demonstration in what proper gun control is, and some rookies showing that if you don't have it, you are the biggest problem anywhere all the time.
A lighthearted take on how pacification is not the same thing as de-escalation.
People who sign up to protect and serve mettling out some justice to buttholes who spend their patrols coercing "Respact and Authoratay" would make for a nice arch plot for the whole movie, being both topical but also easy to grasp.
And maybe we can get some nice breasts in there too.
>Surprised there hasn’t been a remake
Wouldn't be shocked if they recycled the Ghostbusters 2016 cast for a police academy remake.
There should just be an anthology of women doing things men have already done with the same lineup. Just utterly beat the concept to death until there's no illusion of demand for these movies
We live in a society of laws!
Why do you think I took you to all those Police Academy movies?
For fun?!
Well, I didn't hear anybody laughing!
Did you?!
Hitlers wet dream
mine too
Wasn't he gay?
The most unrealistic thing is the roidtroony checking her out, most are gay
MOVE IT
MOVE IT
MOVE IT
I remember Leslie Easterbrook’s breasts
You now remember Sharon Stone before her breakthrough.
Don’t forget a young David Spade
I liked her better in Allan Quatermain movies
Was she dating Tim Burton?
Nope, it was "only" the 80s and it's fashion. Funny how she had to grind through the entire decade to arrive at the verge of stardom despite her natural beauty and being a passable actress.
If I liked Police Squad/The Naked Gun, would I enjoy this series? Or is it a different type of slapstick?
Its way dumber
The first one tries to be a raunchy 80's comedy
after that it goes straight to kiddyfied sillyness
For me, it's Officer Kate Stratton.
You would but don't set the bar too high. The humor is more lighthearted and simplistic but it remains wholesome throughout the series. And while I think it's worth to watch every episode at least once it's true that the further you go the bigger the drop in quality compared to the first.
I think Guttenberg tried to get a new one launched but nothing ever came of it.
israelite shit
who said that
It was so funny seeing a black many making funny black man noises. They should make a whole movie about that.
He tricked ALL the white people with his noises. Those dummies
>You now remember Police Academy
You now remember the "Bruised Oyster" the best off color joke of 80s movies
