Did that get cancelled after one season? I remember being excited for more twilight zone because around that time they always did a big marathon of the old show on scifi channel
all i remember is bill mumy returning to play the grown up version of the little evil psychic kid who now has to deal with his own little evil psychic kid
>Twilight Zone of the 60s pure kino >Twilight Zone of the 80s, 00s, and 2020s pure garbage
meanwhile >Outer Limits of the 60s mediocre at best >Outer Limits of the 90s pure kino
>60s twilight zone uses sci-fi short stories and make them possed >80s,00s, and 20s writers makes shit up and/or make sequel episodes trying to out possed the already possed 60s show and failing
>directed by Alan Smithee >According to Joe Dante, director Gil Cates demanded that his name be taken off this episode over producer Philip DeGuere's "botched" editing of the segment. Ellison had a different take on events, saying that Cates's directing job was so poor that extensive editing was necessary to get the show into a broadcast-worthy state, to the point where the opening narration had to be cut because Cates had not shot enough salvageable footage for the introduction. He also maintained that DeGuere was ill at the time and had no role in the editing of the segment.
I haven't seen the episode, but sounds like no one was happy with the final product
I usually enjoy the ideas and concepts Harlan Ellison came up with but the changing of the calendar and how that played in to the missing hour and the the paladins and their powers. I just couldn't reconcile any of it. I don't know if the internal logic wasn't explained properly or if I just didn't get it, but it bothers me. Someone else watch it and tell me what you make of it.
>that episode where the overwhelmed mother freezes time but then nukes get launched and she can live out her life alone or die with everyone else moments after unfreezing time. >that episode where a poor guy is suspicious of these weirdo missionaries and their connection to people going missing is left to die in a nuclear armageddon
What did they mean by this?
List of recommended episodes? Never saw it
I’m just seeing the episode list and there’s a few late 90s actors that I recognise like the guy who played the invisible man
Why do people try to do Twilight Zone reboots? This garbage wasn’t the first or the last.
Twilight Zone works because of Rod Serling. Without him it’s nothing. Night Gallery is the only worthy successor to Twilight Zone, and even that’s not as good

Wasn't the singer from Korn involved in this, or did I dream that?
For me it’s night visions hosted by Henry Rollins
Would you had gone into the bubble?
He was so terrible as the host. The show itself was very hit or miss, more the latter.

The only episode I remember is the school shooting one
For me it's Ray Bradbury Theater
I remember the episode with Katherine Heigl where she goes back in time to kill baby Hitler, but it ends up being a causality loop.

Someone explain to me "paladin of the lost hour". I don't know if I'm just moronic or if it doesn't really make sense

Maybe you should try it without the moronic preamble.
Huh

homosexual. Just jump in.
I hate how reddit Black folk and zoomers can't watch anything without a viewing guide. Fricking homosexuals.
Not that anon but meh, I'm fine with people saving a few hours by skipping shit tier episodes
look at that, Ira Steven Behr is involved and it's shit
