That seems to be the main impact, even more than making Peter Pan italian.

People seem to have forgotten about the Bobby Driscoll connection.

There's a pretty good chance it's not even around anymore.

The entire movie was a train wreck. It tried to be like Who Framed Roger Rabbit, but failed.

It's like the whole world agreed to forget this ever happened.
    And that's a good thing.

Not really. It came and went and was forgotten. Except for maybe Ugly Sonic.

Still not sure how they swung that, maybe Sega just doesn't have Nintendos balls.

it's probably more of them not giving a shit about sonic, they already have yakuza and persona

      >pluto ear replaced one of chip's ear and does the same gestures that always did in the cartoons
      >IS THAT LE HECKING SNOOPY EAR? LMAO!
people weren't this stupid to not be able to tell it wasn't snoopy's, right?
Also if the machine was supposed to create chimeras of cartoons, why were all the product exported bootlegs?

I think it's a very interesting movie. There's just something very fascinating about a movie that seems to be going out of its way to not have a single likable quality.

I mean, people give directors like Rian Johnson or Zack Snyder shit for not treating a property they've worked with respectfully in their eyes but I can believe that they made movies like Last Jedi or Batman v Superman out of genuine affection for what they like about these properties

But that Rescue Rangers movie has to either be a prank, or be made by batshit insane people.

      >be made by batshit insane people.
Hot Rod and Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping were done by the same crew and those films are absolutely batshit insane so it tracks. They made a kids film where one of the plot points was drug addiction and trafficking. They were absolutely out of their minds.

That movie felt like a fever dream and it was obviously made to shit on RR's fans.

I dunno. Did anyone who worked on the movie really think "Boy, those Rescue Rangers fans really need to be taken down a notch."? It's not like the series had a particularly large or vocal fandom that was asking for it.

Most people (rightfully) forgot about it. I did think those Slither memes with Gadget were hilarious, though.
