Kino was him playing Wagner on the piano.

This movie wasn't very good, neither was Prometheus, but I wish they followed through on the concept of David settling and developing his own planet. The next reboot is going to be Zoomer meets Alien, not looking forward to that.

Disney has abandoned that entire plot line to kiss ass the people who were triggered by Prometheus and Covenant going over their heads

I would've preferred if the Prometheus/Covenant thing was unrelated to the alien stuff and is simply a new franchise.

It would be far more interesting that way and all the alien references are cringy and superfluous anyway.

When are we going to get a Blade Runner/Alien crossover? Next Gen replicants slaving away on some planet and they stumble across some eggs or whatever. What happens when a face hugger breeds with a replicant?

Not that anyone asked but I have a headcanon story about this too

In the DVD-extras of Covenant, there is a segment where David contacts Earth and briefs them about his creations and there is an implication of an invitation. So this would be a direct sequel to Covenant.
Weyland sends in a specialized team. A couple of scientists, but most of them are soldier types. The leader of the team, a captain, has an assistent who is his concubine; a cute and meekly replicant - which is secret. She has illegal modifications that was requested by said captain. Fast-healing ability, because he has sadistic impulses during sex time (the writer's barely disguised fetish).
Getting to the point; the team meets David's creations, things go awry. The concubine replicant gets infected and a very dangerous ayy emerges out of her. The ayy has her abilities, and looks reminiscent of the unused Alien 3 concept by Giger. More sleek, more erotic.
Meanwhile, her wounds heal up and to everyone's surprise she self-revives. The remaining survivers would depend on her to take a more leading role. Etc.
Thank you for reading my blog post.

Why does it always have to be this same stupid story with these motivations for the characters though?
The created android has to HATE being a servant/slave because that's BAD even though he literally feels no tiredness, boredom, pain, etc. He could do it endlessly and it wouldn't make a difference to him. Why doesn't he instead feel a sense of pride and accomplishment for actually fulfilling his purpose he was created for? Why does he have to think "durr you're a meat bag and I'm made of metal and plastic, so therefore I am better than you and if I do what you say/want then that's demeaning to me and bad"?

Bishop was a far better character. And hell even Ash didn't have this dumb complex about being superior to humans, he just really liked the xeno. Also Samuels is best android.
