Board culture, to me at least, screams millennial culture. Places like Cinemaphile has always been by and for millennials. I don't think either zoomers or boomers really care about old, hard to use websites like Cinemaphile. They rarely seem to venture outside the social media apps.

I've been on the internet since 1996 and I'm very glad I didn't discover this place when it was new.
I have been texting women "breasts or gtfo" since 2008, however. Had no idea where it was from.
I only browsed /b/ back in the golden age of Cinemaphile (2004-2008) and I'm somewhat glad I got to see it, knowing that the internet will never be like that again.
Now I only browse Cinemaphile from time to time
