Yes.
You're going to prison & you'll be reamed by a thousand black penises.
No one gets arrested for pirating/torrenting anymore. Even the US doesn't give a shit most of the time, and only goes after the people recording the movies these days.
>you'll be reamed by a thousand black penises
Is that your secret fetish, b***hboy?
>You're going to prison
The charges officer?
That's what you think.
Netflix is great though. It has everything you ever need to watch
Between Netflix and Hulu I unironically get everything I need.
Even porn?
imagine paying for media in 2023

My local Best Buy's physical selection has always been dogshit so no real loss.
Despite passing by a Best Buy recently, I swore this was a dead store.
It's only survived because it is better than Amazon when it comes to quality and delivery speed on certain items.
Also it's got more frequent sales and better deals on PC parts. I got my GPU there for several hundreds of dollars cheaper than if I got it on Amazon.
it's better for the environment. less plastic waste
I'm getting into my mid 30s now and I've come to realize that obsessing over the physical aspect of games and movies is moronic. It just doesn't fricking matter. I pull less than 1% of them off the shelf to use in a year. They could all be digital and it would make no difference to me. It's a nice thought in your 20s to want to possess all of this media physically but you keep getting older and you keep getting a better perspective on how long life really is and the fact that you can't take these with you when you die. It's time to let go, anons.
You could have them make your coffin from your DVD/Bluray collection.
Games are especially funny because most of the time you either need an always-on connection to play, or you need to download a 25gb update before you can play it.
I miss the PS2. I can just slot in a disc and just play. The only problem with it was moronic region locking.
Just realized the PS2 was the last PS that did not require games to be installed, there have been more playstation that require patches and installs than not
Walmart and Target will still sell them and used DVD/Bluray stores.
i go into best buy once every year or two and buy absolutely nothing.
you're so fricking stupid man do you have any idea how in the toilet best buys revenue is?
>Implying anyone here buys dvds
Youre barking up the wrong tree on this one bud
There will still be ways to get the good old stuff. I can see not wanting to waste time and resources on the garbage being shat out nowadays though.

If I pirate a film and save it to my HDD. Do I own it?
I don't see how it's any different than owning a disc copy. It's about being able to watch it whenever.
