I'll rent it.
Not going to be that guy that goes to a theater to watch a cartoon about teen girls, plus if I want to jack off to Chelsea I won't get arrested on my couch.
the industry has to learn not to make crap.
The only good thing of the movie are the two main leads, the rest looks absolutely horrible and story is utter crap.
There's probably a sizeable number of people on Cinemaphile, and I would count myself among them, who want to watch this movie but don't want to watch it alone in the theater. It's sad, it's pathetic, but it's just the way things are, and it's probably why this movie is tracking so low.
Lots of people treat going to the movies like a social activity, it would seem. But I've mostly only seen movies by myself. The only exceptions were when my parents and I would take me to the movies as a kid, or vice versa when I became an adult, and the very, VERY rare occassions where I can go with friends or my date. Movie theaters never felt like a required social thing to me. Its fun, but I don't mind getting a quiet preimum experience to see a movie as soon as I can.
Is it weird that I feel this way? Regardless I have no shame seeing this by myself.
nah i do it all the time, for sure it felt super weird doing it in during high school bc i assumed it was a social thing you do with your friends but I realized not everyone wanted to spend 11 dollars for a 90 min so I been going by myself from HS. It is fun going as a social thing and especially someone who enjoy "watching films" as a hobby to talk about it afterwards
Say this to all the normies and manchildrens who have paid to see The Super Mario Bros movie in theaters without children. >bu-but it's muhh Super Mario, it's mainstream appeal, it's generacional, it's-
So what? Is still a cartoon for kids.
Funny how the marketing threads for this movie never include the nappy-headed swamp creature in the opening image. But he's the love interest. The answer is NO.
I was interested when I thought it was about two shapeshifting teenagers trying to fit in with humans; one good at it, one bad at it. I thought the feud between their kind/relatives was background noise to give context to their rival social lives.
Now that I know it's a low-key superhero origin movie, I'm not interested anymore.
I don't know what this is, but if I wanted to watch something this ugly I'd just stare into a mirror.
I'll rent it.

Same but I won't pay for it.
🙁
but the industry anon...

She legal though
But pulling a Peewee Herman isn't.
>i wanna see this but my boomer father wants to see indiana jones more
Goddamnit...
Sorry I think I'll just pirate this one, but look at the positive side, I won't even bother to pirate The Little Mermaid or Elemental
I'm seeing it opening weekend. No shame. Gotta support my new squid waifu even if the movie turns out to be mediocre like everyone says it is.
enjoy your blacked coalburner fish, cuck.
Heard from a leak that the most that happens is that they agree to go on a date in the ending. It means nothing.

Imagine caring what normies think

That's applicable to most animated movies and people get a pass here. Who fricking cares what movie a person watches
>Who fricking cares what movie a person watches
My far-right winger father cares about what kind of movies watch so fricking much
*I watch
If you're stuck living with papa, I'm genuinely sorry for you anon. People like that genuinely need to have the crap kicked out of them
Imagine letting one homosexual couple ruin media for you. Youre such a fricking homosexual dude
Maybe if I'm babysitting one day and the kids turn it on. Otherwise no
It's Dreamworks. I've watched all but five Dreamworks movies so I know that it's probably bad, but possibly surprisingly good.
I'll likely sneak into it after watching Indiana Jones.
No yuri no watch
Just get to the part where you blow EVERYONE.
Some of my friends expressed interest, so we may go see it. Looks good, I like the Kraken girl. I wonder how good she'd be with a Krak-On Roller?
You just gonna fap to it at the thaters, right?
went to see spiderverse yesterday and a trailer for this played right after a trailer for a holocaust movie
This is a typical Dreamworks formula. They always create an unremarkable movies that somehow barely makes any profit.

you're not going to be able to watch literally anything from this point on if background lesbians chap your ass.
