I'm not sure I agree. Him being an unlikeable incel isn't a bad thing from a storytelling persepctive. The main character doesn't need to be likeable because that's not the kind of story it is, and I doubt there's gonna be a "heckin' wholesome" ending considering the pains the author takes to show that where the MC is at in his life isn't just his own bad decisions, but rather that every bad decision he made in his life was made worse by a terrible upbringing from a caring but misguided parent, and amplified even further by a cold, nihilistic, and clinical approach by wider society to his depression.

My middle school also had "chapel" thursdays (it was a creationist school) and they'd play christian rock songs at volumes that would be merely "appropriately loud" for everyone else but for me it was deafening and I couldn't block it out even if I covered my ears, so I usually had to leave the building.
Probably the worst example was my mother's frequent asthma attacks when I was a teenager. She'd be wheezing and desperately trying to get her inhaler, and the noise was so horrible I couldn't even help her, I'd just sit with my eyes shut and cover my ears as hard as I could.

Yes and I hated it for more reasons that just it being loud. If you've never heard christian rock music, it is the worst, shallowest garbage you could possibly imagine. I'm talking shallower than rap songs where all the singer does is brag about how wealthy he is. I went through an athiest phase for about a year as a teenager purely driven by hatred for american creationist garbage.
It's a real tragedy that Christian Rock is as awful as it is, given Christianity's history with music. What your comic is missing right now (besides actual interesting characters) is a tard wrangler to wrangle the tards. Personally I would probably rewrite the closet chapter if Peter is supposed to be seen as more sympathetic.
When Peter gets triggered by the noises he would be MUCH more sympathetic if he locked himself in the closet and Andi becomes confused and tries to help.
Andi could also try opening the closet door and as she does Peter gets more stressed which in turn frustrates her.
A character that self-whips is always much more sympathetic than one who whips others.
Alternatively keeping the closet scene as is but including another scene that flashbacks to one of his caregivers or babysitters or teachers locking him up in a closet when he had meltdowns would provide a deeper insight into why he responded that way.
With him essentially learning subconsciously that "when you can't handle someone, the normal response is to throw them into the closet."
It would be fun to explore Peter's discord friends because they are clearly a bad influence on him.
It might be kind of interesting if Peter says tasteless things but as his relationship with Zoomerbomb fades so does Peters attitude.
Zoomerbomb could probably start harassing Peter for being a pathetic catgirl degenerate and eventually ghost him.
I sort of doubt Peter himself would cut ties with zoomerbomb because it's common for most people to believe that toxic friends are better than no friends at all.
Peter should also introduce Andi to his mom so he can start treating Andi better. It would also be a good opportunity to showcase that Andi has more options than ignorant compliancy.
