I kinda wish we got that Transformers DC crossover that was cancelled years ago. So is Kong just going to form a gang of all the gorilla villains in DC?
Any crossover Godzilla has ever had with other ips in comics he always hits max end on the power scale.
It's likely something in the contract with western companies using Godzilla with Toho not wanting him to be portrayed as weak.

Uh why is this a thing? Crossovers are useless because DC places polices on the characters that they can't lose or they can only lose for a good reason. Most likely the former.
There wasn't for the movie. It just requested that Zilla couldn't die, not lose.
And I'm sure they asked DC and not the other way around. Which gives DC an even bigger advantage.
Reminds me of when some devs tried to make a kaiju fighting game and it was cancelled because they used kickstarter and their biggest backer who got his furry OC in the game had all these rules about how to depict him
So I'd imagine it's gonna go something like this, lex or the legion of doom are dicking around and it wakes up godzilla and kong and that leads to the plot
Looks low effort based on the pop mix league. No Aquaman or Martian Manhunter to try and talk to the monsters? No Vixen, Animal Man, Beast Boy, or B'Wana Beast? This is going to be the cast batching, moaning, jobbing till Batman figures it out. Lame. Cookie cutter shit.
