The wagies at the "luxury store" are still making barely above min. wage at a shitty retail job. Terrible argument for employment prospects

Only extremely specific shit. It was probably a thing in the 80s so boomers think you can't get an office job with a full sleeve.

Even when no anti-tattoo company policies exist, some managers in white collar environments are still gonna be affected by personal bias, just as if you were obese or had a huge rainbow mohawk. You might be qualified and likeable but they will be put off. There are managers who are more tolerant (mostly women) but there are more traditional minded ones too who will cite other reasons for passing you over.
Not just tattoos, managers will reject you over all kinds of shit they personally don't like, since they can say any other reason officially.

          This.
I've told so many black and obviously gay interviewees that either the team (me) has decided to go in a different direction, or that the spot has been filled (even if it hasn't) because I can't just tell them the truth. That you will stick out like a sore fricking thumb and no one here wants or needs that level of distraction so frick off somewhere else. I don't give two shits about tattoos unless they're on your face. Unless for example this one kid, just graduated highschool came in for an interview, tattoos on his arms, didn't care until I saw in bold letters "FRICK" on his forearm. Nothing else. Just the word "FRICK" and it's not the word or the tattoo, just the idea you are that fricking moronic you thought that was a cool idea tells me that you're too stupid for me to want on my schedule.
So yes, hiring management will always have biases. And never ever fricking believe that "at this store/job, we're a family" nonsense you hear some shitty retail jobs tell you.

Why would he need that if he got that super autist memory?

      Anonymous

Because unless you've got a perfect photographic memory even gigabrain autists need to keep notes around somewhere especially if you can't revise for a couple of weeks. Since you can't just take the blueprint of the jail and your escape plan on a little booklet when you go to prison, tattooing an abstraction of each step on your body is actually a smart solution. No one investigates the meaning behind tattoos except police department looking to match the individual to a gang, since it didn't match it would just be lost in the police records for eternity without anyone ever deciphering the meaning. Smart plan but the plot fricked it up by introducing a gigabrain fed, which is actually rare. Feds depend on midwit technical staff and rarely get to use actual gigabrain autists for something as low level as a prison escape. The people I know who've been contracted by government departments were all doing either cryptography work that the employees couldn't solve or giving them access to a rare new technology they patented.

iirc he asked the judge to be placed in this prison for some reason

well he didn't do it himself, he worked for the company that designed it. It's reasonable the judge wouldn't know that since why would they care what company did this or that.

It's a bit like Lost. Getting on and off the island, getting in and out of the prison. Creative bankruptcy was a thing then, too, only usually the first season was a kind of good and interesting concept and then at the end of it they realize it needs to last another 5 seasons, feature most of the same characters, and have more or less the same vibe.

I really miss the high concept serial thrillers on network TV in the 2000s. First season was always amazing, then they run out of ideas and recycle the premise again and it just becomes camp

depends on the country. some of them recognize that wanting freedom is human nature and so attempting to escape in itself is not a crime, only the crimes you commit along the way (holding hostages, hurting guards, so on, so fourth). norway, denmark, germany, some other places.

Don't turn this into some whites vs Black folk bs, the notion that it should be legal to break out of prison, so long as you commit no crimes in the process, is some sugarplum fairy gayshit. Honestly it mocks the entire institution, like hypothetically you're in prison, that's your life no, and the people who put you there have this fairytale land policy that you can break out, so long as you don't get caught and you don't hurt anybody. Real life isn't some german fairytale with homosexual fairytale rules. Anybody who runs an organization that way, be it a prison or otherwise, has to be an insufferable homosexual.

Spend 2-300 on clemency forms and have him turn up to some kind of hearing ect where he explains how he escaped so they can stop others doing it

its happened. one guy just jumped into a laundry basket and was shuttled out. but yeah, the point is mainly that "attempted to escape" in itself isnt an additional charge. it also applies to some more rare esoteric conditions, like say, prison riots/flooding/fire. climbing out the window of a prison bus that crashed off a bridge into a river, as long as you stick around and surrender wont get you additional time. its unreasonable to expect a prisoner to just drown in those circumstances. or that guy who got out of the police car after being detained because the officer detaining him just got hit by an out of control car on the highway and saved his life, didnt get slapped with a "resisting arrest/detainment".

it almost never happens, but hey.

Are you talking about paragraph breaks that add 2px space between paragraphs? Because that's not a double space at all.

                Anonymous

But he's saying that since that does it automatically, why would it be reddit spacing to do it on here? People wouldn't have the habit of tapping enter twice if it was done automatically.

                Anonymous

its reddit spaceing because it looks like its from reddit

also people can do any spaceing they want on 4chungus

Normally however a double spaced sentance is to change topic

                Those bannanas are hot

                My face hurts

The double space denotes a non sequiter or change of argumentation ect
reddit spaceing is normally when they

                just type

                like this

                Anonymous

But again, the point is that someone from Reddit wouldn't type like that because they don't type like that on Reddit.

                Anonymous

yea it just looks like reddit spaceing its not because thats how you space on reddit

                so
Go Back is because they don't understand the double space syntax and it looks like reddit spacing

it does not matter that they are not from reddit the point is they are not from here but nobody actually cares

I'm guessing the idea was to replicate the reddit look? Or maybe it's because the reply area here on Cinemaphile is tiny while you're typing, so you don't get an idea of what your post is really going to look like. Because of that you assume it looks like a big clunky wall of text, and start dividing it in paragraphs with double spaces.

All the blueprint stuff was CGI animation added on top, the tattoo is just a medieval painting with the floorplans steganographically inlayed. So you had to really squint and then interpret the likes and edges as routes.

kinda wish this show went on forever. like michael & friends are a crew that specializes in breaking in and out of places. it would be forced to top itself with each season and would reach fast and furious levels of ridiculousness, but hey that's how kino is made.

Somehow his brother having a different surname was enough to conceal the fact they are brothers from the court/prison system. To be honest, I can believe that kind of stupidity and worse does actually happen.

Kek when S3 or 4 started with him getting his tattoos removed so they didn't have to put them on him anymore? Cool show but should have stopped once they got out of the Mexican prison. Still, a bad season of prison break is leagues better than whatever fox shows now.

Incorrect. The best possible answer was that the doctor's Governor father pardoned the brother, but Michael had to carry out his plans anyway and live his entire life on the run. It would complete the circle as the brother was innocent, but Michael did many bad things in the process of the prison break.
