Zoomers are officially dismantling the DCAU's sacred cow status (mostly because of how it adapted anyone who isn't within BTAS)
Is this warranted or misguided?

Seeing the online zoomer DC fandom is actually kind of interesting, they embrace 80's/90's comic runs and consider the new52 stuff crappy. You'd think the new 52 and the animated shows would be most popular because of the accessibility but I see a ton of George Perez Starfire art or JLI fanart.
Do online zoomers really care about old comic runs?
They will literally demand you to drop Wonder Woman comic reccs just to make sure you actually know shit when talking about Diana
94% of their opinions literally line up perfectly with oldgay Cinemaphile's
The remaining 6% is just disagreements on minority representation
>Seeing the online zoomer DC fandom is actually kind of interesting, they embrace 80's/90's comic runs and consider the new52 stuff crappy
You have it totally backwards.
In the grand scheme of things there's probably more people who saw the new 52 DC animated movies, sure, but there's a hardcore fanbase of comic fans
you're going to have to check the c**ts on twitter. Just search a character from PAD Young Justice or 80's JLI or Wolfman/Perez Titans and check the users posting about them, it's all people 18-26.
Tiktok is also loaded with teens doing cosplays and remix videos setting comic panels to music.
>teens doing cosplays
Including Perez Starfire?
What's the Marvel side like?
These days? All MCU and Spider-sona crap.
Weird
I've seen zoomer Marvel comic fans do nothing but complain about the MCU and jerk off to EMH saying it's the best adaptation of 616 ever
I can kind of relate except I think the 90s Marvel cartoons are better than EMH.
>online zoomers talking about 80s/90s comic runs
Source on that
Twitter and sometimes LOCG (because comic twitter has been taking up the place)
It's mostly charactergay accounts who know one specific character and their supporting cast like the back of their hand
Same thing is happening with Archie Sonic
It's gotten so much more attention compared to when it was alive literally less than a decade ago
People are waking and realizing Justice League International is a goldmine of a comic where stuff actually happens and characters actually grow.
People always knew
It was the Detroit era kids like Johns who went "not muh" over it
Considering James Gunn is pro-sleazy but ultimately good Maxwell Lord, I want to be somewhat optimistic
>JLI fanart
There's hope for them
Why does Cinemaphile think generation z are all between the ages of 14-18.
The oldest of us are 27. We grew up watching the Justice League cartoon. To many, that is our Justice League.
It's late gen z OP is talking about
One of the biggest, most opinionated Superman fans I've seen online is barely in his 20's and has read more Superman comics than the majority of Cinemaphile (which isn't saying much lets be honest)

I don't know what this means and I don't care.
Warranted‚ I'm tired of fricking casual treating the DCAU as if it is some sacred shit. Outside of Batman‚ Green Arrow and Flash everyone else got the shit end of the stick. The writers clearly didn't give a shit about any other characters lore and histories.
I’m all for it honestly. I just want more discourse than doesn’t amount to sucking off the DCAU and demanding the comics turn into that.
>officially
Words don't mean anything.
Warranted. DC can't do animated shit. They suck at it.
Zoomers have bad taste so anything they denounce is retroactively made good.
You know they hate the new Velma series right?
Everyone hates the new Velma series
Let's see by a quick glance
>Wonder Woman fans are contentious over Diana's more aggressive portrayal (claiming it helped damage the character's image), loathe Wonderbat, and are miffed that she barely interacted with her own rogues gallery
>Hawk fans are mad over how it did Hawkman as a character and making non-reader perception of the lore needlessly more confusing since comic Shayera never actually went by Hawkgirl and disliked it in favor of Hawkwoman and getting people even more mixed up between her and Kendra
>Hal fans are self-explanatory....okay, H.E.A.T. aren't Zoomers but still
>Superman fans in general are pretty aware by how little fricks Dini and Timm gave about Clark, his supporting cast, and his rogues gallery compared to Bruce and think they did a half-effort which further the damaging of Superman's image
>Also apparently kryptonian robot Brainiac is seen as a bad thing, not sure why
This cartoon had the only interesting version of Wonder Woman
You know the bar is really REALLY low right?
Yeah she always sucked
>zoomers are
stopped reading there
>Zoomers are officially dismantling the DCAU's sacred cow status
No, they aren't.
>Cartoon only gay complains about anyone dismantling anything.
You were the exact same kind of moron then you're complaining about now. A secondary twat with a trend chasing sense of self importance. Go to hell and read a fricking comic.
It means they actaully watched the thing instead of the homosexuals who mindlessly defend the shit simply because it's set on the same universe as BTAS.
BTAS is better but JL is more rewatchable.
