Why do people have a issue with the chips that activate inside the clones heads for them to obey order 66? I’ve seen a lot of people shit on theta plot point and I never understood why
It takes a lot of brevity away from the conflict. Saying the clones are mind controlled is like saying the jedi are infallible and didn't deserve what happened to them. Maybe they did, maybe they didn't, but that is the point of the tragedy
Unnecessary addition. Before, the clones were genetically modified to be more receptive to orders and authority, and indoctrinated to be completely loyal to the Chancellor. Only a few special ops variations of troopers had free will to the degree that they could disregard orders.
But in TCW the individuality of every random butthole clone was amped up to 11 with all of them ignoring orders every five minutes and cultivating individual personalities complete with every dumbass rendition of a buzzcut you can conceive of, so suddenly it had to be literal mindcontrol facilitated by a secret chip in the brain. I guess millions of head wound MRIs just never noticed.
chips are silly but the alternative is probably sillier.
even before tcw it was already established the clones were great friends of the jedi and knew them on an almost personal level. you telling me not a single group of them would have rebelled?

>Prequels are good on their own
They aren't. The only reason they are somewhat fondly remembered is all the related media (video games, cartoons etc.). The movies themselvess are vapid slop.
>Whatever it was, Clone Wars fixed it
A good movie shouldn’t need an entire tv show to be made in order to fix its mistakes. A good movie can stand on its own without any supplementary material. You can watch Empire Strikes Back or Return of the Jedi without having seen the previous installments and they still stand strong.
one is good but is like the red headed stepchild of the first six films. it doesn't have the same space opera tone in any sense and leans more into being almost comedic in a way that's more subtle in the other films. so I get why a lot of people dislike it
2 is genuinely awful outside of the very final part on geonosis. which is ironic given how much shit about the clone wars spawned from it
3 is good, not perfect but acceptable
I knew all the Jedi had to die but I just didn't want them to show Plo Koon getting killed and that butthole George really did it. At least he didn't go out like a b***h like Kit Fisto
Unironically yes >Im about 15 or 16 >Friends and I see it >See it again a second weekend because its badass >See it three times with my friends and each time we love it. >Spend the summer just talking about Star Wars. Playing games. Watching the original trilogy at sleep overs .
Sure you can say its nostalgia and shit but so what? We had fun watching it and honestly thats more important than what critics way.
Also yes I still enjoy the redlettermedia reviews because they are still fun and overall right. These movies have problems and flaws. Its possible to enjoy things.
Sound design and music is really important with Star Wars and Disney has consistently fricked that up with their pee shooter blaster sfx and bland music
Maybe the worst prequel. TPM has problems but it feels the most like an actual movie with a plot, RotS simultaneously feels too long and too short, the latter with respect to Anakin's fall. I mean in one scene he flatly rejects Palpatine and immediately runs to Windu to report him, literally the next scene he appears in he betrays Windu, pledges absolute loyalty to Palpatine, and goes to kill all his former colleagues. It's just laughably stupid writing
I don't disagree on your general point about struggling to portray his fall well, but when it comes to those scenes anakin was clearly on the edge about the jedi and palpatine manipulated anakin by portraying himself as some helpless prisoner windu was going to execute in cold blood (like yeah technically that is breaking rules except he's a fricking sith lord, it's like the jedi knight plot in swtor to capture and turn the emperor it aint fricking happening).
You shall now be known as Darth.. VADAH
>Revenge of the SIT

It was a retcon made by Filoni because he couldn't bear saying goodby to his clone OC's

Watch the Plinkett review, he explains how people like you didn't actually enjoy the movie and are only saying they did because its Star Wars.
>plinkett reviews
Go be gay somewhere else.
This
Shut the frick up. The original trilogy is boring as dogshit
>verification not required.
You only believe that because Plinkett said it.
Give me legitimate reasons to the Prequels aren't good
Whatever it was, Clone Wars fixed it
>fillonishit
Prequels are good on their own, they didn't need this to stand.
>Prequels are good on their own
>sneedsons poster
I've seen all I need to.
>prequels hater
>simpsons gay
Go to bed grandpa.

>TPM
Mediocre
>ATOC
Bad
>ROTS
Kino
So that’s one mediocre, one bad, and one kino movie in this trilogy, just like the OG trilogy. What’s the issue here?
>Whatever it was, Clone Wars fixed it

>Clone Wars fixed it
Yeah, the original one.
>Watch an eceleb tell you what to think
Terrible.
have a nice day
>Watch the Plinkett review
The prequels sucked dick
>sucks abrams dick
This guy's word means nothing.
And yet the merchandise made Billions! Nice try, Disney! Rot in piss, Disney!
The post that broke nostalgia gays. Lmao look at all the seethe
>gen x burnout mad because it wasn't just a rehash of the OT
he's right, but not in the way he thinks he is
The prequels are shit and always will be. Redlettermedia was right about everything.
>sequel trilogy is mediocre
>prequel trilogy is terrible
Bait used to be believable
high IQ take

t. filoni
how does it feel knowing that george said if dave tries to revive plo he'll find a new way to kill him for real?
I just always liked Plo Koon because of Jedi Power Battles. I've never seen TCW except for the last two episodes that were pretty good.

Not quite Attack of the Clones but still good
Yep. It's the best star wars movie and the only one that's true kino. Episode 1 is close.
The soundtrack saves it. The movie is nothing without it
Sound design and music is really important with Star Wars and Disney has consistently fricked that up with their pee shooter blaster sfx and bland music
The sound design was by far the worst of the Lucas film. It desperately needed Ben Burtt. Matthew Wood can't compete.

Why did General Windu attack Thesenate? Why not try to sue him for malicious intent?
The best in an entire SW Saga
Deserved and critically acclaimed
>Attack of the Clones
>with that dialogue
>higher than Empire or Jedi
Oh come on
100% kino 80% of the time
What about the Ewok movies?
S tier with the Ewoks and Droids cartoons
>Episode 2
>s tier
greek tragedy tier kinography. don't let any balding soi addled gen xers and millennials tell you otherwise
Then why nobody likes it?
