>AHHH! I AM GOING INSANE! I AM HANDSOME, HAVE FRIENDS THAT CARE ABOUT ME, AND I LIVE IN A BEAUTIFUL HOUSE WITH MY LOVING FAMILY! I MUST REBEL!
Did boomers really?
>AHHH! I AM GOING INSANE! I AM HANDSOME, HAVE FRIENDS THAT CARE ABOUT ME, AND I LIVE IN A BEAUTIFUL HOUSE WITH MY LOVING FAMILY! I MUST REBEL!
Did boomers really?
He didn't have a cause. We just have a rebellious spirit within us in our youth. btw, super weird ass movie that made little to no sense
It wasnt called rebel with a bunch of causes mate
>bad writing is excusable if the title of the movie explains it to you
It's a pretty relatable feeling, even most normies get it. You'd have to be the normiest of normies not to get it.
>>bad writing
Where? Oh that's right, you never saw the movie. You are just obsessed with Dean's appearance and went on that. How sad for you.
bro that movie fricking sucks
I was astonished when I actually sat down and watched it
complete incoherent slop and the performances were terrible
boomers are so fricking stupid it hurts
>boomers are so fricking stupid it hurts
Oldest boomers were 10 by the time that movie came out you imbecilw
The boomer version of this movie was Easy Rider and it was a masterpiece
>muh traveling aimlessly across the USA only to each two barrels of buckshot
Wow its fricking nothing.
>muh inability to perceive or refusal to acknowledge the actual subtext of the film and its filmmaking prowess
Wow it's moronation
shut the frick up homosexual it's a shitty indie flick about nothing from the minds of drug addeled losers
were boomers ever more talentless?
>were boomers ever more talentless?
yes, 70s Hollywood is generally regarded as the lowest artistic point in the history of american filmmaking
everyone agress All the President's Men and Badlands pale in comparison to modern israeliteels such as whatever piece of shit marvel and fast & the furious have on the movie theatres at the moment
Why do you think he was called the rebel without a cause, moron?
this is happening right now with zoomers living in suburbs as well
You fricking zoomers just want to cut your dicks off and rename yourselves Stacey.
Wait a minute, you mean to tell me that the protagonist in the film Rebel Without A Cause was a rebel without a cause?
>hairline slightly receding
IT IS OVER FOR JAMES DEAN
I watched this years ago so I might not remember much and maybe somethings went over my head because it was a rather disinterested watching.
I just couldnt have any sympathy for Deans character. It seems like he doesnt know what he wants, but whenever something doesnt go the way he wants it to go, he throws a tantrum like a toddler.
He has parents who care for him, tell him they love him, they help him whenever he needs them to but somehow thats not enough and not even he can pinpoint what irks him about it all. Frankly he comes across as a spoiled brat.
It's more rebelling against the suburban culture that has a strict code on how you should look and act. Middle class families looking to emulate ruling class families in the 50s started it and we are slowly breaking away from it.
Thankfully purity culture and going to church on sundays are not as prevalent. Yeah you have a "future" with a "loving family" but not really. College, job, fatherhood, work till death. Cog in a machine.
Not Defending this movie in particular just the trope in general.
he was mad because his dad was a pussy-whipped beta
were none of you teenagers? this isn't that complicated or mysterious.
If I had acted out like Jim I would have caught a beating. We did mischief and shit as teenagers and got in fights with my brother over stupid shit, but Jims mischief just seems attention seeking, then he spergs out when he gets attention. I guess I just had better impulse control as a teenager.
I had loving parents that gave me freedom and more sense than most. Sorry not sorry
and you still ended up here
hmmmm
his dad was a pussy who never stood up to his wife and he resented him so much that he couldn't stand being his son. i guess a zoomer like you wouldn't get it. your father is probably some man-bun wearing neckbeard #metoo stay-at-home dad homosexual while your mom wears the pants and brings home on the bacon
Man-bun dads like that are great and actually care about their kids, unlike yours.
nah. i had a solid, masculine father. this is why i manned up, got out the house, got a job and made my own way while you got babied by your parents into your 30s and still live with them
I bet he put plenty of his solid, masculine fathering deep into you.
not that anon but this sounds like really weird gay projection
>simply state that a manly father probably instilled those same qualities in his son's character and personality
>immediately thinks that's gay
holy projection
Stop pretending to be moronic.
>his dad was a pussy who never stood up to his wife
>I guess a zoomer with a pussy for a dad who wouldn't stand up to his wife wouldn't get that
What?
Boomers were the angstiest generation
James dean was 15 when the first boomers were born
>5'7"
Now you know why Dean killed himself. Even tried to take his friend and a complete stranger with him.
>AHHHH! OH NO I SOLD MY ENTIRE LIFE AND FUTURE TO AN ILLITERATE moron FOR CASH! HOW COULD I HAVE LOST MY NATION AND FUTURE, I ONLY SOLD IT FOR CASH!! INVISIBLE HAND, SAVE ME!
>if I describe the plot in bold green text then the plot is bad
No
>If I describe what others are describing badly in greentext then the description is bad
No
>my spicoid latrino face when
