I've always had some dumb fantasy since I was a teen that a Scott Pilgrim show should be slice of life and each book is its own season.
Goddamn I still have nostalgic memories watching that adult swim short
Titmouse was robbed
I would create a new version called Me Vs. The Not-Me World. It's about me forcing everyone to be me and making everything me, but in real life, not a cartoon.
Rework Takes Off into a sequel that takes place immediately after the comic, with Scott getting kidnapped the day after he beats Gideon. Almost everything else remains the same.
It doesn't make sense that Scott's arc of getting over the need for constant emotional validation comes as a consequence of beating a videogame style boss rush but erasing what he did earn in the original story sucks. Put an action packed, sakuga filled montage of his fights with the exes in the opening or the first episode to recap the original story since they aren't getting full episodes.
Exactly the same, except for a few things: >have scenes with Scott and Future Scott in every episode except maybe two >give Future Scott a better reason for going nuts at the end >include Joseph and Stephen >three on three fight between Sex Bob-Omb and Clash at Demonhead
I mostly agree with this except >>give Future Scott a better reason for going nuts at the end
future scott overreacting fits because he's supposed to be a dumbass.
Yeah, but >Ramona ran off again so I crashed at Wallace's and it's like Envy times ten
and >I was so mad about Ramona I ran off for ten years and she just never found me even though I was in a pretty obvious place
Makes their relationship look like it isn't worth saving.
Make Ramona run away from everything at the start like she always does.
You can't have a redemption arc if you're perfect from the start.
Also keep the EX's original personalities as huge egotistical dickheads. Same goes for them, you can't redeem what's already fixed.
Basically make the character development more believable.
Also I'll never stop saying it but YOU HAD THE CHANCE TO HAVE NEGA-RAMONA BE A THING AND YOU COMPLETELY BLEW IT.
Every episode has a full penetrative sex scene between Scott and Wallace. The episodes in which scott is missing can be flashback scenes.
Also Roxie rapes kim with her lucky strap on. Sparks be damned
>To add to the point, an anon a couple threads ago asked if I would have bought her caring so much to track Scott down because she was denied a relationship as opposed to abandoning it herself for once. I would if the show had actually went that route and made it the impetus for the lesson at the end. It does make sense looking at her relationships all being some form of contrarianism. The ethnic kid, the loner skater, the vegan, the lesbian, the twins, and the genius. She wants something new and the moment it becomes normal she leaves. Get rid of the moronic time travel plotline and have Scott just be kidnapped by the League. Have Ramona track her exes down to just find him and have them be the ones confronting her over their relationship while she tries to avoid talking about it, leading to a fight because of course. They all play on the point that the moment Ramona got to actually know them and the honeymoon phase was over, she ran because she can't handle being that close. She doesn't understand why they're so obsessed because she projects on them and thinks they were as done with their relationship as she was, downplaying how important she was in their lives. Have their closure be from her actually admitting she cared about them more than she tried to deny and them being happy to just be acknowledged by her because that's what they actually wanted from her, not to harass Scott. Keep Gideon the true butthole that he is and have him make Ramona doubt herself that she won't just do the same to Scott and then, I dunno, have the exes jump in to help her in the final fight against Gideon and serve as tangible proof that she has changed.
>Boom, you get her arc on screen, the exes get more time to be fleshed out and reasons to reconcile with Ramona, and Scott gets reduced even more because the author and twitter hates him so much. Everyone wins!
>I dunno, have the exes jump in to help her in the final fight against Gideon and serve as tangible proof that she has changed.
OH MY GAWD this would have been great
Just follow the plot after episode 2 but having Mathew defeat Gideon has consequences
Episode 3 is the same except Roxie was sent there by Mathew
We don't have Gideon become a neet
It all becomes a battle between Mathews side who realized that Scott coming back would nullify the contract and Ramona's side
The final battle is Mathew vs Gideon again except it's cut short by Scott vs older Scott who had been fighting non stop since the end of episode 1
The same show, but it's Scott/Future Scott adventures. >Scott finds out he was kidnapped for the stupidest reason and wants to go back
Last 3 episodes are about Ramona looking for Scott, he gets back and they all fight Even-Older Scott.
The end.
1:1 adaptation of the movie
Make them all funny talking animals.
Scott fights the literal world
episodic slice of life
I've always had some dumb fantasy since I was a teen that a Scott Pilgrim show should be slice of life and each book is its own season.
Goddamn I still have nostalgic memories watching that adult swim short
Titmouse was robbed
sounds good.
they would have to change the name to "precious little life".
hed look pretty good if he got in shape.
Scott Pilgrim becomes a male stripper and takes it ALL off
Slow down there, Wallace
I'd make it a 1:1 adaptation
Scott Pilgrim's success was an accident and adding to it is a mistake.
Matthew Patel becomes the big bad
Make it a crossover with other Scott Pilgrim-likes like YIIK.
I would create a new version called Me Vs. The Not-Me World. It's about me forcing everyone to be me and making everything me, but in real life, not a cartoon.
Scott Pilgrim Goes Last
all of ramonas exes run a train on ramona
then scott is the last guy
>Exes
Don't forgot the likely hordes of one night stands
Scott will be waiting in line for months
1:1 adaptation of the games
>game(s)
wut?

Not sure but you can really tell that BLOM regrets A LOT from the original comic. His IRL divorce probably has something to do with it
You bitter c**t. Name three things.
>Name three things.
>Making Ramona flawed
>Gideon being so evil
>Scott dating Knives
Kim x Knives
Scott "dating" Knives
Ramona's lack of accountability
Do you think he still cares?
According to wiki, it was TEN YEARS AGO. I mean divorce is tough but it's been ages
I've seen divorce completely obliterate men. Remember that Ramona is based on the ex wife
You know, it could work if Ramona actually fought all her exes... but she did not.
She fought, what, only Roxy, because she attacked her?
mods=gays
don't just repost things
Just going to repost

Anything would be better than them all jobbing immediately.
