Yeah but by the end of Goldeneye M is eating her words and in TND and TWINE its clear they have a good relationship cause Bond has shown he is a good agent
But that was the best Bond movie of the last 50 years and at the end M realizes she wrong about him
If they're reinventing him, on the bright side that tells me 2 things (hopefully)
1. Craig Bond is it's own thing and it's done. Next movie will not continue his story
2. It will not have the same tone as Craig Bond
So on that note I'm happy. It removes all the garbage with spectre gone, blofeld being james' adopted brother an dead, and James having a daughter, and the stupid vesper drama that hung around for the whole Craig Era
Hopefully this change in tone will bring some of the fun back into Bond that's been missing. And since they really are going the clean slate route, Bond is not stuck with all the dramatic baggage from the last 16 years
My worst fears are they'll make him gay, or bi or something (that already happened with skyfall, but making it more evident). They've already said he'll stay a man so Jane Bond isn't happening

Craigs entire thing was a subversion of the larger than life, bombastic Bonds before him. His whole 'spies have no place in a world of computers, I'm too old for this plus I'm a real person with real feefees now' schtick.
After the subversion returning to classic bond will feel fresh and will ape stuff like kings men so it'll appear modern
Since he died at the end of the last one, they are alluding to the fact that he will come back in the next films as a ghost. He won't be able to frick ladies or punch people, but he will he able to spook terrorists into giving up their plans for world domination. Also he will be renamed James Boond

Its amazing to me how fast dark and gritty reboot Bond became stale. I guess that happens when you are following trends instead of setting them, wonder what trend they'll be following this time?
