>but but muh book bond
it’s a different medium. book bond had to be exaggerated for the big screen. ian fleming thought the movie scripts were shit but approved of sean connery as james bond
He's not a role model, he's the male completely free from the shackles of morality and free to do as he pleases with beautiful women, carte blanche from the government and constant adventure and tension. He's a male fantasy, not a role model although he can be taken as such in positive ways.
That's what made Connery's Bond the most popular pop culture figure back then, people back then had never seen such a rogue and uncaring main character. it was fricking unheard of.
That archetype comes and goes. You could find him in Julian Sorel, but obviously different enough to fit what was acceptable to a more moral people. I imagine after being absent for a long period it would shock and excite people though
I wouldn't say he's a role model but he is, as someone else pointed out, an epitome of the pagan sprit of playful masculinity. And while you don't have to buy into the entire Bond persona, I think there are Bond attributes which are desirable; be unafraid, have confidence in yourself, take pleasure in the challenge, let go of the modern neurosis and shyness and fear and self-loathing.
>a shit role model >needing a role model
I never wanted or needed a role model. I never understood people that have role models. Worshiping someone, especially a man is gay.
Just take parts and attributes you like from everyone and learn how to be a decent person.
The movies solve this issue by making Bond's antagonists so obviously cartoonishly evil that we tend to root for Bond to take them down even if we feel that Bond himself is morally questionable. If the movies were about Bond hunting down investigative journalists who threaten to expose MI6 corruption, or something like that, most people would not be drawn to him no matter how suave he was or how many women he bedded.
Fleming Bond has a fairly decent set of morals including a distaste for killing in cold blood. I wonder how the books’ kill count compares to the movies?
Bond is supposed to be a middle aged man who drinks and smokes heavily. He's a massive gigachad because he's suave and dangerous, not because he's a roided out gym bro.
I think I can guess as to what is going on with Craig. He probably realized he wasn't picked by merit but because Barbara was in love with him, this probably fricked with his ego and he wanted to tank the franchise out of spite he'd been duped and now his career changed forever when he was doing alright for himself beforehand when now he can only do Netflix slop. It's the only way his behaviour and insane obviously agitatory interviews and quote make sense. He thought he won the role because he was the best one but he'd been picked like a porn actress.
I guess his plan on tanking the franchise didn't work well enough since he had the highest grossing movies and probably the most relevant ones aside from the original Connery flicks.

His highest grossing movie was chicken feed for Marvel capeshit and no one really remembers any of his movies aside from CR MAYYBE. His last movie lost 100 million which is blacklist-worthy stuff in Hollywood. No one wants to be associated with that. Not all rosy as your zoomer fried brain sees it.

With this style and tone and pozz? I doubt it makes fricking 200 million. If MCU capeshit is bombing then all is fair game. If they cast someone cool like Cavill or Dan Stevens and bring back Brosnan style fun and adventure with minimal pozz then maybe it can be saved. But that will never happen as long as Barbara exists.

There's nothing wrong with a serious tone (in fact most actual men I know prefer that) but it will more than certainly be pozzed in some way.

Provide good arguments as to why she's ''good'' and not a meme and a stain on the franchise and especially Brosnan's era which was so close to being kino on the same level as Connery.
there is only one felix leitner in the image and he's at the top left corner
I will forever feel cucked that they didn't make Goldfinger a James/Felix buddy cop caper with Jack Lord.
>Goldeneye saw the introduction of female M (the beginning of the end)
His era was such a weird one, you had extreme pozz for the time period but also based as all hell stuff like Christmas Jones. It definitely was the beginning of the end and what lead to where we are now.
Living Daylights was the last film released when spies were still relevant and not computer nerds and there was still a real bad guy in the Soviets. It's the best Bond film and ends the era with License To Kill transitioning to a new age. Brosnan inherits nothing but being a generic action hero.
The 1990s were a sweet spot in history where feminists could be placated by making women authority figures and professionals in fiction but you were still allowed to make them hot
Not to mention that with Goldeneye, TND, and TWINE, they were able to inject character and analyze the man without grinding the movie to a screeching halt. He combined the best elements of all of the previous Bonds while making the audience believe that he can easily shift between them convincingly at the drop of a hat while still being a consistent character.
I really enjoyed Dalton's Bond, and Brosnan's was able to translate a lot of that darkness but in a lot of ways through implication. For instance, in Goldeneye, when James and Alec are infiltrating the Soviet base, Alec kills one of the scientists there. Although Alec is the one committing the action, James knows what he just did and says nothing about it, condoning the action for the sake of England's mission.
>Goldeneye saw the introduction of female M (the beginning of the end)
His era was such a weird one, you had extreme pozz for the time period but also based as all hell stuff like Christmas Jones. It definitely was the beginning of the end and what lead to where we are now.
Denise Richards is fine in terms of acting, but yeah, I don't believe that she's a nuclear physicist. TWINE doesn't take a nosedive for having her in the narrative, unlike something like Madeline in Spectre who is just shoved into the story and her and Craig's chemistry is all off.
I wouldn't call it stupid bullshit, i'd call it sincere and first and foremost HUMAN. I abhor death and misery, I want fun and joy, make media that make people believe in the myth of life, in the myth of man, in the myth of fighting for something, making them love being alive. That's what the Bond movies are and why they will always be popular. Craig was demoralization propaganda.
Different strokes for different folks. I prefer more grounded/realistic escapism because it's easier for me to immerse myself in it.
As soon as Bond is fighting on a makeshift Death Star, it's nothing more than fleeting entertainment to me.
It's pretty silly on the surface, but it always bothered me in the Craig movies how little of that goofiness was there. The Skyfall bit about his tiny radio and the crack he makes about it always kind of bugged me because it feels so stupid to even give him an obvious tiny radio when the gadget element was basically nonexistent. Just put a radio in his suit cuffs or something but instead it's trying to be more gritty and realistic but then he's given this ridiculous tiny radio anyone would've confiscated off of him because of its clear purpose.
I was someone who had only ever seen Goldfinger, Bits and pieces of Casino Royale and all the the Brosnan era of Bonds and thats it and I watched all of them in December. Here's how I rank them as a first time watcher for almost all of them: >1. On Her Majestys Secret Service >2. Goldfinger >3. Goldeneye >4. The Spy Who Loved Me >5. Thunderball >6. From Russia With Love >7. Casino Royale >8. For Your Eyes Only >9. Skyfall >10. License to Kill >11. Dr. No >12. The Living Daylights >13. Tomorrow Never Dies (Nostalgic as its my first Bond) >14. A View to A Kill >15. Live and Let Die >16. You Only Live Twice >17. Moonraker (Cringe Kino) >18. Die Another Day (Also Cringe Kino) >19. The Man with the Golden Gun >20. Octopussy >21. No Time to Die >22. The World is Not Enough >23. Never Say Never Again >24. Spectre >25. Diamonds are Forever >26. Quantum of Solace
Even though I think Lazenby's the weaskest Bond it was still that good I had to put it at number one. I wish he stayed on as I think most of his issues were just him being a rookie actor
It's my favorite Bond movie too. I would've loved a proper followup movie with Bond out for revenge instead of killing off Blofield in the first 10 minutes of DAF
Also in terms of my Bond Rankings, not necessarilly counting their stories: >1. Brosnan (even with the shit he was given in the final two movies he made it work. It might be nostalgia but I feel he encapsulates the best parts of every other Bond actor. Even in his bad movies he really shines.) >2. Connery (The only reason he's not number one is that from You Only Live Twice onwards it all felt super phoned in and like he was going through the motions) >3. Dalton (I really liked his take on a darker Bond and apparently his is the most Fleming novel accurate) >4. Moore (Was Bond the longest that you can't help but associate the character with him. However he was really old by the end and it detracted from the movies from me seeing the obvious stunt doubles. To me he's also the "cheesy campy Bond" after seeing how crazy his movies got) >5. Daniel Craig (Kinda comes off as a dweeb most of the time. Mopey and just too silent and brooding for me) >6. Lazenby (Funnily enough has the best movie but he came off VERY green in that movie acting wise yet it strangely works for his movie)
>>1. Brosnan (even with the shit he was given in the final two movies he made it work. It might be nostalgia but I feel he encapsulates the best parts of every other Bond actor. Even in his bad movies he really shines.)
Pierce looks, acts, sounds the part better than all of them combined. So surreally good you'd believe he was AI generated. There's a reason all material with a generic Bond model or sillouhete is just Pierce. Look at the guy, it's uncanny how much of a James Bond he is.
Not really. It makes Bond the Bond girl and it doesn't show Eva Green skin. It's a gay post-modern slop piece for idiots like you who say shit like 'Chad here'.,
CR is shit, read this comic to see true kino.

I agree and don't mind CR or QOS even as the biggest anti-Craig gay, AT LEAST they had their own thing. Craig's era turned to shit with Skyfall and trying to nostalgia wank and make him into Sean Connery or Pierce Brosnan. If he stayed James Bourne for all his movies then no one would complain. I don't know what you're talking about, the first one was pretty cut and dry, the second one (everyone hates for whatever reasons) was full of personality and spark, you felt that everyone was at the top of their game there, it had more memorable aesthetics and it adhered to the ridiculous but great premise of an IMPOSSIBLE mission which geared you up for outlandish stories full of drama and thrills but them trying to make it serious and gritty was even more grating than with Bond. You could tell they were making a Bond flick top to bottom and it was great. The other ones feel like the same sterile movie over and over. The first and second ones were auter pieces, even 2.

If only MI continued with Cruise as a gigachad playboy spy instead of some beta male cuck who needs his team to do anything. You could tell Cruise played James Bond here pretty deliberately. Best Bond movie made since GoldenEye, tbqh. Sean Ambrose was kino as frick and their 007/006 dynamic was kino. If they stuck with the realism and the 00's aesthetic, i'd be more receptive. Imagine a James Bond (Bourne) movie going against African war lords, Islamic terrorists, hedge fund financial criminals, drug cartels (again), all of this stuff. Except they didn't tap one bit into that potential and just copied the older movies because the people at EON are creatively bankrupt.

He has the acting ability and screen presence. He can also rock the black hair and blue eyes combo. The other choices have no X factor, I think Stevens has that X factor like Brosnan. You know it when you see it and he has it. Damn shame he's not a leading man at 41.
man eric serra's music is so atmospheric, i really wish they kept him for the rest of brosnan's tenure (and that they let him use his og track for the tank chase scene)
People don't want to admit it but Serra's music gave GoldenEye it's unique aesthetic and SOVL. The David Arnold movies have good tracks but they're ultimately stale and generic after a movie and certainly after two. The Serra music is so fricking catchy, it's insane. I had this stuck in my head for weeks. The cowbell, the cazoo, it's all so out there but fricking great. Pure genius. It fits the adventurous nature of the movie so well and the 90's of course. Good times before the world collapsed by the end of the 00's.
All that needs to be said.
[...]
True, that's the excitement and rogue element sprinkled in among the heroics and fun. This scene perfectly examplifies this.
he's also a homophobic, wife-beating anti-semtie, does that cancel it out?
im not defending the woman thing but he's like 100 and they've all likely said similarly stupid crap at one point so i dont think it matters nor do i believe its even genuine to begin with
They're old men without a chip on their shoulder, they just say something for some pats on the back and to pay lip service at no cost. It's not genuine or anything to take seriously. Even Brosnan said it but in a more joking sense. Lazenby is based, end of.
I actually expect the upcoming IOI game to be superior to the next Bond movie on account of it being an entirely original Bond universe and having a lesser chance of being a lampooning of Bond.
My expectations for the movie are very low.
The studio making it has a disclaimer before every game that what you're about to play has been made by queer people of color and other insane groups of people parroted by globohomosexual so you clap like a seal at them....existing and being degenerate.
I would not hold my breath on that, anon. If movies are pozzed, video games are straight up AIDS. No point since it's going to be a separate thing, if it's not a movie tie-in then the whole point is lost. Then again, they can't repeat the lighting strike of GoldenEye n64.
Brosnan looked the part, but he was also a great actor. He can really make you believe he's being shot at and is afraid to die, or when he lets the veneer down ever so slightly like when finds Paris dead and when he kills Electra
Guys serious question now. Who was the best Bond Girl? For me it's Xenia Onatopp. What do you think she squatted to be able to kill a man with just her legs?

Nope. I can attest by personal experience with relatives who saw those movies. It was like discovering fire back then, it was revolutionary stuff.
That archetype comes and goes. You could find him in Julian Sorel, but obviously different enough to fit what was acceptable to a more moral people. I imagine after being absent for a long period it would shock and excite people though
He's basically an ambitious murderer that the government happened to weaponize. He would've been a thug or a soldier if he didn't make it as a spy.
Bing bang bawds!
Wham bam islands!
Pew pew evil dudes!
WHAT THE FFFRICK ARE GOING ON ABOUT
He's not supposed to be a role model for a family man, just a power fantasy
>i need my movie characters to be my father
people shouldn't have fake role models, that's how people go roid crazy trying to be like comicbook superheroes
>>no defining principles or philosophy
'ate forruns, unless they're fit birds. simple as.
>a shit role model
>needing a role model
I never wanted or needed a role model. I never understood people that have role models. Worshiping someone, especially a man is gay.
Just take parts and attributes you like from everyone and learn how to be a decent person.
He has shagged thousands of women.
QED: You're a gay.
I wonder how the books’ kill count compares to the movies?
lol
lmao
dyel?
OP's pic? yes
It was a different time.
hair on chest is disgusting
Who shaves their chest hair?
The most important thing for attractiveness is that your body ISNT ugly, it doesn’t have to be actively attractive if you have a good face
There is nothing wrong with being homosexual, anon. I hope you will come to terms with your sexuality.
Go molest kids, you gay.
Bond is supposed to be a middle aged man who drinks and smokes heavily. He's a massive gigachad because he's suave and dangerous, not because he's a roided out gym bro.
how do we go from this…
to this?
Tribe of people from the Middle East.
All of them are fricking great except Craig.
Someone tell Daniel it’s not gay for pay if he enjoys it
you rang?
Even Craig himself doesn't like Craig Bond.
>His last movie lost 100 million
What kind of headcanon cope is this?
That's moronic, they wouldn't have made the movie if it needed that much on a 250 mil budget.
COVID ballooned the marketing and production budget.
Not to mention extensive reshoots
they'd be lucky if the next one breaks the 700 mil ceiling tbh
With this style and tone and pozz? I doubt it makes fricking 200 million. If MCU capeshit is bombing then all is fair game. If they cast someone cool like Cavill or Dan Stevens and bring back Brosnan style fun and adventure with minimal pozz then maybe it can be saved. But that will never happen as long as Barbara exists.
There's nothing wrong with a serious tone (in fact most actual men I know prefer that) but it will more than certainly be pozzed in some way.
It's 2024. I can't imagine they'll do a straightforward Bond anymore.
Of course not but it won't be serious. It'll be like that Bullet Train/John Wick shit.
hello barbaraschizo and craigschizo
Hello there. How you been?
see everybody who sees him would think he's just your average bloke. but bond is british gentlemen and have some elegance
right. he’s just pretending to be a cuck
hes not holding hard enough for safety
He's confident in her.
hehehehe
Now THAT'S a man.
Is this a comedy?
No, that's Roger Moore's thing.
He's got the fuzz, cuz
And here it is
Am I supposed to know which one this is? He's flipping a light switch. Is it Thunderball? Because that's the best one.
its diamonds are forever. you can tell from his massive fricking eyebrows that he had in that one.
best Blofeld, book accurate and has great screen presence.
I couldnt get into him because the same actor also plays a completely different dude in YOLT
He was kino so it's okay.
erm? he lived twice whats the prob?
underrated
That's not the Living Daylights.
Nice.
my favorite bond film
Frick the israelites and their pansification and Black personfication of Bond. Sean is masculine Sean is life
I'm no homo, but there's something about Connery's legs in those very short shorts.
It's envy/desire to looks like him
same unironically
stopped doing legs at the gym because I have way too much muscular legs
started to menswearmaxx and get some good fitting clothes with quality materials
let my body hair grow except the balls the shoulders and the whole ass because it feels or look like shit on me
need to rewatch all the films it has been a while
Cool, he turned you into a gay!
Reminder Connery wears a toupee in every single Bond movie including Dr. No.
arent connery bonds outdated? I wanted to watch one but they are so fricking old
which one is the bond with the little midget that decapitates a statue with his hat btw
frick off
For me, it's still Piercekino.
>Xenia, Elektra, Miranda, Jinx, Christmas
>some of the best set pieces, one-liners, themes in the franchise
>the most heroic and competent Bond but also the most cruel and rogue-ish
>Christopher Lee said he's the best and closest to how ian envisioned James Bond
>his video game legacy is unbeaten
>he brought back Bondmania
>best and most fun Bond since Connery
>was the public's top choice for Bond for over a decade and a half
>his movies ALL end with him getting the girl and fricking her after saving the world
He’s one of the best Bonds, unfortunately the scripts were mostly horrible and Goldeneye saw the introduction of female M (the beginning of the end)
Judi Dench is alright though.
>Judi Dench is alright though.
No. She was the worst part of his era and what kept him from Connery status. She's the worst addition to the franchise only beaten by the WE WAZ 007 sheeboon in No Time To Dilate. What the frick are you talking about
I hate her faaace. So old, man.
Dench is fantastic as M. Your brain is rotting.
>Dench is fantastic as M. Your brain is rotting.
>generic praise agreeing with the zeitgest then insult with no elaboration.
Hello, plebbit.
Dench is good as M. No one is gonna argue against your 6 hour FEMINAZI M RUINED BOND video so uncross your fursuit avatar arms.
>Dench is good as M. No one is gonna argue against your 6 hour FEMINAZI M RUINED BOND video so uncross your fursuit avatar arms.
No elaboration or reasons why. Please go eat your bugs. Also, men can be women and nothing wrong with homosexuality, right? Bugs, pods, transitions.
She didn't hurt you anon. Meds.
>She didn't hurt you anon. Meds.
Provide good arguments as to why she's ''good'' and not a meme and a stain on the franchise and especially Brosnan's era which was so close to being kino on the same level as Connery.
I thought Christmas only comes once a year, heh.
Who's the gangbanger mugshot next to the actors who've played Felix Leiter?
there is only one felix leitner in the image and he's at the top left corner
David Hedison is best Felix.
>Not a single straw haired blond Texan among them
Living Daylights was the last film released when spies were still relevant and not computer nerds and there was still a real bad guy in the Soviets. It's the best Bond film and ends the era with License To Kill transitioning to a new age. Brosnan inherits nothing but being a generic action hero.
The 1990s were a sweet spot in history where feminists could be placated by making women authority figures and professionals in fiction but you were still allowed to make them hot
>best and most fun Bond since Connery
you got that right, cheers brosnanon.
Denise Richards is fine in terms of acting, but yeah, I don't believe that she's a nuclear physicist. TWINE doesn't take a nosedive for having her in the narrative, unlike something like Madeline in Spectre who is just shoved into the story and her and Craig's chemistry is all off.
Denise Richards is probably the worst actress ever in a Bond movie
Lee said he's the best and closest to how ian envisioned James Bond
He also used to say "Is there any more prune juice left?"
>zero good movies
I assume Brosnan fans played Goldeneye 64 and like Sean Bean and there's nothing wrong with that.
Pierce was tall, handsome, suave, and his movies are stupid fun, invisible cars and laser watches, that stupid bullshit IS Bond.
Bond is literally a professional killer.
Here's how I rank them as a first time watcher for almost all of them:
>1. On Her Majestys Secret Service
>2. Goldfinger
>3. Goldeneye
>4. The Spy Who Loved Me
>5. Thunderball
>6. From Russia With Love
>7. Casino Royale
>8. For Your Eyes Only
>9. Skyfall
>10. License to Kill
>11. Dr. No
>12. The Living Daylights
>13. Tomorrow Never Dies (Nostalgic as its my first Bond)
>14. A View to A Kill
>15. Live and Let Die
>16. You Only Live Twice
>17. Moonraker (Cringe Kino)
>18. Die Another Day (Also Cringe Kino)
>19. The Man with the Golden Gun
>20. Octopussy
>21. No Time to Die
>22. The World is Not Enough
>23. Never Say Never Again
>24. Spectre
>25. Diamonds are Forever
>26. Quantum of Solace
I don't agree with most of your list but you're based for having OHMSS #1
Even though I think Lazenby's the weaskest Bond it was still that good I had to put it at number one. I wish he stayed on as I think most of his issues were just him being a rookie actor
It's my favorite Bond movie too. I would've loved a proper followup movie with Bond out for revenge instead of killing off Blofield in the first 10 minutes of DAF
that's his clone, dumbass
Also in terms of my Bond Rankings, not necessarilly counting their stories:
>1. Brosnan (even with the shit he was given in the final two movies he made it work. It might be nostalgia but I feel he encapsulates the best parts of every other Bond actor. Even in his bad movies he really shines.)
>2. Connery (The only reason he's not number one is that from You Only Live Twice onwards it all felt super phoned in and like he was going through the motions)
>3. Dalton (I really liked his take on a darker Bond and apparently his is the most Fleming novel accurate)
>4. Moore (Was Bond the longest that you can't help but associate the character with him. However he was really old by the end and it detracted from the movies from me seeing the obvious stunt doubles. To me he's also the "cheesy campy Bond" after seeing how crazy his movies got)
>5. Daniel Craig (Kinda comes off as a dweeb most of the time. Mopey and just too silent and brooding for me)
Look at the guy, it's uncanny how much of a James Bond he is.
and bond brosnan was shit compared to steele brosnan. steele brosnan had way more fricking swagger
>steele brosnan
?
Remington Steele, the show Brosnan was doing when he was initially considered for the role
Looks based. Definitely will give this a watch.
Remington Steele
>>1. On Her Majestys Secret Service

you're just insecure in your own masculinity
>you're just insecure in your own masculinity
Whatever makes you not 41 percent, gay.
>I'm totally straight anon, you have to believe me, look at how straight I am
quit while you're ahead
Eva and Olga mog her t b h
Craig had some nice girls.
I love me some Olga
Very lickable.
Are Ukrainian women really this swarthy?
She's prolly a israelite.
to me its only these two
You might be queer.
Casino royale fricking sucks and I'm sick of people pretending like it doesn't. Craig has never made a good film, ever.
You watch it for Eva and Mads.
This. It'd be maybe 10/10 if they included Q, had Cavill or Fassbender as Bond and had a traditional gunbarrel. Aslo, recast Judi Dench.
>cavill
ehh...
At least he's not Daniel Craig.
I don't watch these films to jack off to the actors
your loss
I would take Cavill right now if it meant we don't get whatever they're planning to give us next. Because you know it won't be pretty.
Chad here. Casino Royale? Kino flick.
Not really. It makes Bond the Bond girl and it doesn't show Eva Green skin. It's a gay post-modern slop piece for idiots like you who say shit like 'Chad here'.,
Non-Chad take, discredited. Millenial Gods stay winning.
this isnt ghostbusters calling yourself a god accomplishes nothing
Fact: Casino haters saw and enjoyed Ghostbusters 2016

CR is shit, read this comic to see true kino.
https://readcomiconline.li/Comic/James-Bond-Casino-Royale/TPB?id=133088#120
It's actually one of the better films in the franchise.
>b-b-but
Don't care, not reading.
>Don't care, not reading.
>Craig-defending zoomer
>can't bring himself to read
You owned yourself brutally.
All good and fun movies for warmblooded heterosexual males. Not your thing.
>le zoomer meme
Casino came out in 2005 which was coincidentally a great time to be alive for anyone who wasn't a total spaz.
You can try and rewrite history but I have a very clear memory of both the time period and the effect the movie had on the franchise. Without CR, it would still be in the dumps.
06*
shot in 05
Anyways, the world had not gone full moron yet, I can attest to this with certainty.
CR and QOS are comfy pieces of media from a better time for sure. That late 00's PS3/shoegaze era.
>All good and fun movies for warmblooded heterosexual males. Not your thing.
That's what James Bond used to be.
Only MI is keeping that up. Albeit more tame and team oriented but still. Paris was straight out of a classic James Bond movie and the director and Tom said Pierce's Bond movies were an influence and they liked them.
MI is a victim of how stupidly good the first one was, none other measures up.
MI2 was the best Cruise Bond film.
You could tell the influence from GoldenEye from that and the car chase scene in the beginning with Tom and the girl resembling James/Xenya.
>those fricking cuts
kino nonetheless
the first 2 are p much unwatchable, self serious generic hollywood action shit. only once the tone shifted to more jovial did the films get good. the majority rightly shits on the first 2 films for these reasons.
>literally an even more clinical and drab approach to the story
>less sex appeal than the already neutered 2000s movies
I'm good
it showed enough
I wouldn't have minded an R-rated cut but that has only happened once in the entire franchise
>No Time to Die
>Finds time to die
No Time, to die, to sleep, perchance to dream
RIP, sweet princes.
English-Scottish relations have never been the same since.
What a couple of absolute CADS!
Beyond me how didn't the camera explode from the KINOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
closest thing we have to all of them together are these wax statues
Not bad looking, though Craig and Bronsan look slightly iffy.
this is exactly what I imagined
films are old and look funny
They all blend so well into each other, perfectly encapsulating the storyline that they're supposed to be the same guy then there's....
the guy in the middle.
Second best Bond? Yeah, probably a good reason they put him in the middle
I remember the headlines about shock horror, a blonde Bond. In the current year if the next Bond is blonde the world will implode, but for different reasons.
He's just too Russian, the blonde hair is one factor, he just doesn't look interesting. If a blonde Bond like this was chosen, no one would complain. It's all about how ugly he looked and looks even more now.
This dude looks too soft for Bond
Watch this.
I have. It's a great movie but he's not Bond in it, unless your idea of Bond is a cold blooded machine killer.
Definitely not but you can see he has that X factor, he is interesting to watch, moves very well, suave in a way in that movie, good presence and a memorable face. All good ingredients for a great Bond plus he's pure English.
If anything, it had a good soundtrack.
>How did he see me?!?
He voiced an audiobook of Casino Royale so he's already played Bond in a way. Listen to this.
He has the Iraq/Afghan war veteran look, not the campy suave secret agent assassin look. Idk how tall this guy is or how much he weighs but he looks about 5'7 140 sopping wet, bond is a 6'1 - 6'3 200 guy
Please no more Islamic terrorist movies. They should shift into China stuff, we haven't got Asian locations in a while and those are actually interesting and nice to look at. Also suits a talk dark and handsome bond more than a lanklet imo.
Basically Universal Soldier 2014.
This dude looks Russian too. Craig just has more neanderthalish features but this is ironically also more masculine.
I like Dan Stevens, but him being a good Bond I'm not so sure.
He has the acting ability and screen presence. He can also rock the black hair and blue eyes combo. The other choices have no X factor, I think Stevens has that X factor like Brosnan. You know it when you see it and he has it. Damn shame he's not a leading man at 41.
me in police custody after trying to remove the craig statue from the bond display
>Hello, based department? You're not going to believe this.
All those kino cheekbone chads and then theirs Craig's puffy alcoholic head. God damn
This dude is straight up ugly. Did women really cream their front bottoms in the 60s?
He's a real man, not an asian woman boy.
Sounds like uggo cope.
No he's not.
He looks like some random car mechanic, not a handsome womanizer
That was the entire appeal and reason he was popular, he appealed to the vast majority who are blue collar workers and Sean was blue collar himself.
He looks masculine, yes.
nah
Yeah. It's not 1960 anymore, this guy would be an incel today.
I like all the Connery, Moore, Dalton and Brosnan movies. Everything else can get fricked
All that needs to be said.
True, that's the excitement and rogue element sprinkled in among the heroics and fun. This scene perfectly examplifies this.
man eric serra's music is so atmospheric, i really wish they kept him for the rest of brosnan's tenure (and that they let him use his og track for the tank chase scene)
Good times before the world collapsed by the end of the 00's.
cmaaaaaaan.
Eh okay movie, mid bond girl. Telly carries the movie I don't think Lazenby is awful but it didn't work
this is the dude who said next Bond should be a woman
he's also a homophobic, wife-beating anti-semtie, does that cancel it out?
im not defending the woman thing but he's like 100 and they've all likely said similarly stupid crap at one point so i dont think it matters nor do i believe its even genuine to begin with
They're old men without a chip on their shoulder, they just say something for some pats on the back and to pay lip service at no cost. It's not genuine or anything to take seriously. Even Brosnan said it but in a more joking sense. Lazenby is based, end of.
exactly.
Btw, anyone remember Blood Stone? Kino game.
>Cosmopolitan, lemon twist
Chicken wigs. Crispy, not dry.
>YOU KNOW MY NAME
>YOU KNOW MY NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAME
I hate Craig's movies but they were worth the pozz just for this song alone.
Brosnan looked the part, but he was also a great actor. He can really make you believe he's being shot at and is afraid to die, or when he lets the veneer down ever so slightly like when finds Paris dead and when he kills Electra
Connery's first three Bond films are great, but he slowly lost it over the next few movies.
Roger was always the best and most consistent Bond.
Tiffany Case is great
Does the carpet match the drapes?
If the roof is rusty, hehehe... the basement is damp!
Him striking a pose on top of the elevator looked dashing.
>TB
>YOLT
>OHMSS
>DAF
It's amazing what a massive drop in quality this movie represents.
Except DAF are so visually interesting that it spawned both Austin Powers and NOLF video games.
Very nice. Deserves a good slap.
Hard to believe he was only 32 here.
I don’t believe it. That’s at least 50 years of uninterrupted chest hair growth
its really disturbing to see what alcohol, tobacco and air pollution will do to a Black person.
he was actually 41. though i maintain the notion that he didnt look too good in DAF (compared to his previous outings, at least)
Lmao I thought this was a Trailer Park Boys thread from the thumbnail.
Sounds like a Bond song
They should remaster all Brosnan's Bond Games
Agent Under Fire was the best one and it wasnt Pierce Brosnan it was Andrew Bicknell, who is the best of all Bonds
Guys serious question now. Who was the best Bond Girl? For me it's Xenia Onatopp. What do you think she squatted to be able to kill a man with just her legs?
Scorupco. Just a normal girl in a sea of Bond girls.
I'm tied between Plenty O'Toole (Lana Wood booba) from Diamonds are Forever, and Bibi Dahl (Lynn-Holly Johnson bangs) from For Your Eyes Only
Watching Steele half a year ago made it impossible to watch him as Bond. He was way too handsome and bastard'y in that show/
