ARM YOURSELF BECAUSE NO ONE ELSE HERE WILL SAAAAAAAVE YOUUUUUUU
Yeah, agreed
THE ODDS WILL BETRAY YOUUUUU
Yeah. agreed
i simped hard for those odds, why didn't she put out?
Its really great. I like the world is not enough more though, sounds more 'Bond-y' if that makes sense.
Yep. I prefer the world is not enough as well. For me it's a tie between it and for your eyes only
Underrated theme. I think the movie itself is a little underrated. I like it more than TND, even if Richards is fricking abhorrent.
TND has its own problems, the climax falls apart, the bond girl is shit. The first half up to the part with the hitman and the dead wife is a solid movie, then it just gets kind of dumb. TWINE holds together better, but the villains are kind of lacking in a similar way.
The intro to DaD is good. The swordfight is cheesy but fun. Everything after, invisible car, ice hotel, it's all awful.
One of the best but it's let down by some pretty weird and rough production on the vocals
I enjoyed this theme so much as a kid I made it into an AMV.
then they get billie eilish to do a bond theme and daniel craig is a liberal cuck. What a fricking shame
100%
Skyfall>all
2 bullet holes on the 7 of hearts. *chefs kiss*
>chefs kiss
kinda gay
Casino Royale has a good song but it's a shit Bond theme because it breaks the cardinal rule of having the fricking NAME OF THE MOVIE in the song.
This is the best Bond theme.
Fricking fire
UNTIL WE DANCE
INTO THE FIRE
I do love View to a Kill, but there's a bit too much of a disconnect between the traditional Bond stuff and the Duran Duran stuff. It feels like a big band cover of itself.
annnnnd the SKKKKKKYYYFAAAAAAWWWWWSSS and it crumbbbbbbllllees in the SKYFALSKYFALLSKYFAALLLLLISTHENAMEOFTHEMOVIE
Adele's song is dogshit for other reasons. Mainly the fact it's Adele singing it, she can't sing.
I also liked Spy Hard
Based. This, License to kill and A view to a kill are my favorites. Dalton's movies had the best songs.
OOOOOOH LAWD OOOOOOH LAWDY LAWD DEM RANGS
Come up with a way to insert "Casino Royale" into the lyrics of that song (or any song) without sounding lame as frick
Maybe they shouldn't have named the movie Casino Royale then. Oh, right, they had to.
It might be a rule but it's not cardinal. On Her Majesty's Secret Service and Octopussy also didn't have the name sung in the opening titles.
For me it's;
1. The World Is Not Enough
2. You Know My Name
3. Goldeneye
This is my list as well.
World Is Not Enough sounds so timeless.
How the frick did they choose that gay Smith song over this?
it's not a good bond song. neither of the spectre songs were a good bond song.
It's a banger, but it doesn't feel like a Bond song. It's not very bombastic.
This song isn't that great. It's just that the Sam Smith one sucks so much harder.
I really like Man of War but I can understand why the studio rejected it. Spectre is much worse imo, it's far too dour and slow for a Bond song. The slower ones in the past usually have a lot of energy and strength to them to make up for it, but Spectre doesn't
I think "Writing's on the Wall" is fine as a Bond song, but Sam Smith sings it like a lisping homosexual with a tongue too big for his mouth. Here's a cover that does the song justice: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iu3xM8Gfa2M
>Sam Smith sings it like a lisping homosexual with a tongue too big for his mouth.
>like
>implying
jews are the cancer of the world
You Only Live Twice is my favorite, especially when you know the war story behind the producer editing it together from 50+ takes because Nacy can't fricking sing.
Personal fav
>Best song
>Best opening stunt
>Best girl (Caroline Munro)
>Best battle
It will always be Goldfinger.
>gooooldfinngerrrr BUUUHHHH DUUHHHH NAAOOWWW
when I was a kid I used to rent bond movies from the library and fast forward the opening themes because they were boring
based, it's just coomer shit for 3 minutes anyway. start the fricking film already
the best part was when I started getting in to Bond, my mom comes to me one day and hands me a stack of 7 James Bond novels from when she was a kid.
The fighting animation reminds me of the Prince of Persia game and for that it's kino.
I gotta go with Thunderball
View to a Kill is the best Bond theme.
For me, it's snake eater
>not Cinemaphile sings
>not digging even deeper into Cinemaphile's past
man I just started singing snake eater to myself then I read this comment what the frick
this is some psycho mantis shit
You like Castlevania, don't you?
huh?
I think my monitor is dying
On her Majesty's Sneedcret Service
Personal favorite https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SDe1xi4tGUA
Objective best
>You know my name
>YOU KNOW MY NAME
>YOU
>KNOW
>MYYYY
>NAAAAME!
>Q invents a gadget gun that fires Warwick at his enemies
Yup... kino
Die Another Day has alot great ideas.
Villain gets diamonds blasted into his face then race swaps to become a weird looking blue eye'd albino was pretty cool.
I interpret it as Bond surviving the literal deadly torture by imagining it as severe BDSM and using his arousal to steel his will.
>steel his will
11/10 phrasing
Hope to encounter more posts made by you
>Bond music even when not in Bond movie, still mogs the rest of the soundtrack
I still haven't watched any of the Daniel Craig films
My favs in no particular order
>You Know My Name
>Goldeneye
>The World is Not Enough
>Live and Let Die
>Nobody Does It Better
Basic b***h I know. My hot take is that Tomorrow Never Dies deserved the title track over Surrender. Surrender is a shit song and it's only saving grace is that riff used throughout the movie
casino royale song is shit, glad that homosexual offed himself
what's the worst bond theme though?
All Time High or Another Way to Die
This is the best bond theme:
This cover is horrible, way to make a strong theme schizophrenic
Nice stealth Casino appreciation thread. I'm going to say it, it's the best movie in the series
It's one of my favourite movies, it sits pretty solidly in my top ten. I don't rate it very highly as a Bond film.
How is it possible not a single one of you stupid fricks has linked it yet?
[Embed]
It's the best, end of story. Stop linking your shit taste.
Best and worst films?
For me, it's 'The Living Daylights' and 'Licence to Kill', 'GoldenEye', and 'Casino Royale'.
(Those are my favourites.)
a wild challenger appears
i'm more of an No One Lives Forever guy myself
