I really liked Diablo, the one with Clint Eastwood's son.
It's rather short, they really should've given Walton Goggins' character some more time on screen, but overall it was very good.

Be warned, the synopsis gives away the entire movie including the ending, I hate that they spoiled it like that, I would've enjoyed it a lot if I didn't already now exactly how everything would go, so don't ready anything about the movie before watching.

Well, for film just about anything with John Wayne is tops, "Mcclintock!," "The Cowboys," "Horse Soldiers" etc. Tom Selleck's films are great, as are the spaghetti western greats with Clint Eastwood. "The Magnificent Seven" is basically mandatory as well.

Subversive ending really got me too, couldn't stop thinking about it. The score got better as the movie went on, one of morricone's best.

great choice of a classic American artist for the cover, that looks like one of Albert Bierstadt's pieces

There is a film version of it, it stars Nic Cage, I don't know where to find it though. I also enjoyed the book, read it in 9 days while cooped up in hospital in February, first book I've read cover to cover in over 7 years.

      Doesn't have:
      >3:10 To Yuma
      >Boss Black person

Opinion rejected. You do have Bone Tomahawk on there though so that redeems you a little bit.
