Wait. This scene doesnt look bad in context. Obviously it's flirty joke to send her away for secret meeting.

He rapes Pussy Galore straight in a dedicated chapter about the wrongness of lesbianism in Goldfinger.

that's about the worst moment in the movies. but people still call bond misogynist now despite that being from the 3rd movie and not doing anything close to that since. but even so, the implication can just as easily be she wasn't a lesbian truly. and she doesn't seem to regret sex would be a hallmark of actual rape. But still, a bit disgusting

This scene also wouldn't work, not even in 1970s. but it's not so bad.

Also blackmailing a woman into sex but he only does that in that non-EON movie so not sure if it counts.

I think men value "innocence" and "inexperience" far more than women. And truly women like James Bond/ chad characters

Even back in the 90s i found James Bond to be creepy as frick. Like 90% of his "seductions" is just kissing the chick while she protests until she likes it.
Even as a kid i understood that this would obviously not work in real life.

With a handful of notable exceptions, the forced romance in Bond movies is always among the worst parts.

Bond cares about very few people, and will use men and women to get the job done. That's what his character is, no point trying to make him softer.

Damn, this is probably how they're gonna justify Bond being a womanizer from now on: it's cold and predatory, there's nothing cool or suave about it, for him sex is just a tool of manipulation with no emotional attachment (they already kind of did it with Craig), and he's willing to sleep with both men and women to achieve his goals. We're probably gonna see Bond having gay sex in our lifetimes.

But it is this. Real secret agents do whatever it takes to do what they are doing, and it's no great leap of faith to believe that governments try to find charismatic people to recruit as agents and/or try to train their agents how to charm and manipulate people by any means including sex.

Bond wouldn't be Bond if he gave a shit about women. His attitude toward women is even blatantly acknowledged during Living Daylights and Casino Royale, just to name a few. That cold blooded nature is often his weakness, so its not as Bond's misogyny is celebrated, as some twitter moron would have you think.
Whether the women are worth caring for is another debate.

it's ok for a character to have flaws. Bond has a sweater side though, particularly with Tracey. When you look at Roger Moore he was also quite nice to the women and slept with a shitload

Sleeping with a lot of women is generally not why Bond is called misogynistic

so what is? is it soley based on connery's bond, who's actions are mentioned above? Because it sure seems that way since I find it unfair to lump the other actors into that category.

It's a mix of Connery's rapey macho Bond and the false idea that it is misogynistic for a man to treat women like disposable sex objects (keep in mind that the same man is literally a killers who kills people based on government orders, so the idea that he has anything particular against women is pretty silly).

It's funny to think foids flipped the script.

Before, if a man slept with a lot of women, it was understood that he was tall, handsome, and charismatic in order to achieve that.
Now, if a man sleeps with a lot of women, he's a misogynist (despite the fact that women consented to sleeping with him) and foids want this behavior banned from films.

Of course, if a woman sleeps with a lot of men now, she's liberated.
    >Yaaasss queen! Girl power! Awww don't like strong women, incel chud? Too bad! I'm a high value woman because I let anything with a dick hit, including dogs.

I see women shame men for wanting sex. but of course it's only the less attractive ones. the hot ones will be called "jerks" after they frick the girl

James Bond managed to frick that many pussies because he was on a strict no-fap regime that gave him such esoteric attraction powers that it naturally made any feminine powers of the universe try to unify with his masculine energy.

Bond being >le flawed protagonist you're not supposed to like is pure fricking revisionism. He appeals to a man's base needs that he has no control over. Even the basedest of the soys has an apeman who wants nothing more than to murder and frick inside them.
