Is the creator aware of this?
i hope the creator doesn't sue because that would be racist. those poor mexicans are just doing their best to bring food to their table. frick trump and frick white people, man
I would the lady standing between them
As a Hispanic, neither have I understood why bootlegging is very common in Mexico.
The only reason its not common in America is because studios have law offices well set up, setting up the legal team in a foreign country requires more time and money than its worth. In any country with the means to do so and well set-up law offices to stop them, bootlegging will be common.
>As a spic
Where you from? Cause if you think this shit only happens in México, you're a dumbass
People would do it anywhere they could get away with it, honestly. Making your own shit is hard, why not make bank producing your own Pokemon merch? It'll sell like hotcakes.
Feliz cumpleaňos
>thing gets popular on the web
>third world Hispanic countries make a parade or stage show with said thing
Remember to copyright your shit, kids.
bootlegging means they're ignoring the copyright anon. That's why it's called a bootleg
>implying these countries give a shit about (copyright) laws
>Remember to copyright your shit, kids.
People really have no fricking clue how copyright law works, do they?
Do you?
copyright laws are bullshit and should be abbolished.
commie
Yeah, they're not.
Correct take
They should be shortened tbh. Having a copyright last for more than 50 years is absurd
I'm in favor of the creator's life +10 years. As soon as you drop dead, the clock starts running.
For things like movies, the same stands true. If there is still even one person listed in the credits lives, it's still good.
Hello sir
Cool it with the antisemitic remarks
Copyright is automatic, it's not a patent.
Also, people in the Global South just aren't worth it. The law isn't enforced and the defendants don't have any fricking money
Frick off double dicks
I don't think third world shitholes care about American copyrights
>Remember to copyright your shit, kids.
Cinemaphile truly is the dumbest fricking board.
>t. commiehomosexual
yeah that might work on first world countries, outside there good luck lmao
I hate beaners very much anon
but this doesn't seem like a big deal compared to the usualy violence and stupidity
"Waaaaaaaaa "
-Gringoy
Seethe harder, beaner.
I would be happy my content is being used to make kids happy, even if it's with something unofficial.
So? It's not like goose is gonna lose a bunch of money from this
moron opinion. also not how copyright works, bootlicker.
?t=48
I'm not entirely sure what mysterious entity is causing them to dance, but I'm not complaining.
>Dipper playing League of Legends
Made me kek.
Why is this show so popular in Mexico? Is it the new Dragon Ball Z?
Chumbox for Kids bought to you by Youtube's algorythm and Youtube Kids.
Kids like it.
Mexican circuses take advantage of any fad to put out shows. There's pictures of similar shows with Poppy Playtime, Wednesday, Plants vs Zombies, Kick Buttowski, Pokemon, FNAF, Fortnite and other things.
Bootleg thread?
There was like an entire Warhammer opera in China
Link?
el pomniquita
I want to hug Pomni!
Jesus Christ
To be fair, this guy makes a living of making those nightmare inducing parodies in his YT channel.
Another fun fact, he was Phineas official dub actor
that caine castome is awesome
This is probably the first time Mexicans have given a shit about an Australian show
>he doesn't know
>hasn’t heard of Bananin y Bananon
Seen bootleg dolls of Pompi at my local mall.
Also a Supreme shirt with Lola bunny sporting underboob. Right at kid eye level.
>Pompi
funi
Imagine making a breakaway hit but mostly with Mexicans so you never see a dime
Obligatory
A dollar store near me is selling knock off toys of them too. Hand carved monster looking ones, sorry no pic.
Like a couple of weeks after it aired I was in an airport and I saw a kid about five or six years old playing with the clown lady as a toy. Just randomly.
I wonder how the creator feels knowing they've achieved 1990s-bartmania-levels of quick stardom.
I'll be keeping a lookout for a bootleg pinata to show up in one of those mexican food stores.
>tfw a troony made a phenomenon
it's over
If the thread is still alive in a few hours I’m gonna post a thing. Those of you that can read this know where I’m going.
Callate pinche niño conalep.
i'm amused by what kind of show they do, it's just one pilot epsiode, are they recreating the entire pilot episode or are they making up stories of their own?
glitch has made multiple series before, especially the instant Cinemaphileult classic murder drones
He's talking about the beaners.
He's asking whether their play is a faithful retelling of the pilot's events or if they just make up original stories that just happen to use characters taken from The Digital Circus.
Dios mio las criaturas
>One Episode made all of this
>One Episode
To be fair they had no fricking idea how insanely popular it was going to become. According to goose the entire series is already written and music compiled. They are literally just whipping the shit out of the animators and voice actors to catch up.
People ITT misunderstand copyright.
You don’t have to go out of your way to ‘copyright’ something, Copyright is basically considered a natural-law/right that is enforced on any creative work the moment it is ‘created’ you don’t need to go to some office to file a copyright.
What CAN happen though in some territories is that it could be decided that if the holder of the copyright didn’t bother to enforce against breaches of it for long enough that they have waived the copyright via inaction.
Which if this stage show is actually calling itself ‘The Amazing Digital Circus’ and is keeping all the characters names the same, COULD theoretically happen.
The easier answer is that Latin America in general is Russia/China tier when in comes to piracy and encouraging it. Not to mention that the international lawsuits that would be required to stop this aren't worth the effort and are hard to pull anyway
But as for bootleg stuff specifically:
-There are indeed stage shows calling themselves TADC. So technically they're breaching copyright but they're so much less offensive than the asian content farmer crap that they're not really worth fighting. And also, I don't think these stage shows ever said they came up with the concept
-The children's party thing is par for the course, you can hire people to dress up as Disney/Pixar/DreamWorks characters for your kids birthday party. Since they make money from doing so it's technically infringing on copyright, but again the issue is enforcing it. Disney has never come after this though, since it is bordering on suing people for dressing up as your characters for Halloween
Have you guys seen the content farm shit? These Taiwanese animators have created 10,000 hours worth of lore for a show with a single episode
We should have a thread where all of Cinemaphile just sits down and analyzes the entirety of one of those content farm slop series, episode by episode.
We can make a game out of it.
Take a shot every time your faith in humanity decreases.
>Amazing costumes
>Cute hostess girl to lead the event
>Active and involved costumed workers
Looks fun!
I need mexican Pomni to dance to "Tú Necesitas" by Aleks Syntek and then groom an english kid.
Murder Drones shows when?
How are they going to do all the tentacles and eldritch space matter-editing magic, anon? That's way too high-budget!
Funny cause the other day I found some bootleg TADC plushies in one of those cheap chinese stores
>inb4 chinese? I thought we were talking about Mexico
Chinese immigrants hold a monopoly over stores of crappy products and bootleg merch in my hometown
