    >tip Artie off
No. He’s not a made guy. He’d be an accessory. And his life would be in danger. Tony couldn’t do that.
    >tip someone else off
Junior would know it was Tony.

      >He'd be an accessory
how? they could leave a tip saying to close one night or else. threaten him if necessary
      >Junior would know it was Tony
as if burning the place down would prevent someone getting whacked at another time?

If Junior knows Tony sabotaged a whacking, as acting boss/boss he could have the right to kill his nephew. It would not be hard to justify in his mind as they were already leveraging power and he eventually did go through with it anyway. It could’ve happened a lot sooner with this however.

jfc you are really moronic. Tony tried to tip him, but his wife was being a c**t. And a fire stops it from happening there. They're not going to wait until the restaurant reopens just to do the hit there, they'll just do the hit the next day wherever the guy is.

Agreed. Anons on here think the first season is kino but it’s a sloppy fricking mess. Introduces great characters but there’s a reason why Chase fired most of the season one writers and took it more seriously once they got picked up

That's pretty much how I felt. Season 1 wasn't super appealing to me at all. Didn't know he fired a ton of the writers lol

Season 1 isn't that bad if you ignore the first 3-4 episodes. There's still some ridiculous shit in there, but it's good enough to be considered canon.

        >first 3-4 episodes
the coach episode is episode 9 and it's one of the worst episodes in the entire show.

        season 1 is just trash.

Frick you that ending was kino. If you didn't at least find all of Season 1 to be comfy and entertaining I don't even know how you would like the show in the first place.

not that anon, but i do find the entire series comfy but am also comfortable in saying that season 1 is the sloppiest and worst season of them all. still good though

kek you have shit taste. next you're going to say that you genuinely love the pilot.

The Vito arc sucked, and Furio shouldn't have been written out

Pilot was iffy, because it's the fricking pilot, but the season is still the best overall. Cope and seethe.

I guess if you're a moron you would have to have it explicitly explained to you. It was a last resort thing. He didn't want to involve him at all.

You can discretely have someone not come to a restaurant without burning the place down.

Iirc they burned a restaurant down in 'Goodfellas', so it was an hommage. Since 'The Sopranos' was a television show, it was a story that got to be more fleshed out, since they weren't restricted to a 90 minute format.

If you want to be cynical about it, you can say Chase just ripped it off because he's a piss poor writer and he's as much a hypocrite as the characters he writes about. Commendatore!

Maybe that’s why the first season sucks so much, especially the pilot. Too many homages to Goodfellas. Scorsese claims he’s never seen it nor cares to ever do so

The show is very female. All of it is men talking about their feelings and being inept. It's no wonder it's right up Cinemaphile's alley. It's why AJ is so hated, he can't even commit suicide right. It hits too close to home.

Tony was a father to his family. I liked it when he went outside in his pyjamas to get the paper. Get the paper.

          The boiler got fixed.

All of them are a bunch of nancy's. But they kill and only care about themselves.

I don't call in sick for work, because that is taboo. Then I watched 'The Sopranos' and I said 'Hold on, this cool guy gets to call in sick for work, so why shouldn't I?'. Yes, I am that much of a moron.
