It wasn't CGI at all, Michael and the other dancers had special shoes where the tips would lock into braces attached to the floor. If there were wires helping them fall forward and come back up, no big deal -- it's still a practical special effect. Michael did it several times at other appearances where he did Smooth Criminal. The clips in the floor are prepared beforehand. It's very effective.
World lost a lot of soul when he died.
No it wasn't CGI, it was pretty clever how he did it.
How does this not tear your achilles?
homie you can literally see the wires holding them up.
No
it says CG right on the picture bro
>he doesn't know about red herring patents

You're not allowed to listen to him, zoomer. Can't have your infected brain talking about past icons.

Child molester.
>CGI from the 90's mogs everything made today.
>meanwhile, actual 1988 CGI:
Claymation was the peak of visual effects. You cannot convince me otherwise.
Wtf is this real?
CGI was commonplace by the mid 80s. Some of Disney's projects like the Black Cauldron and Oliver and Company had CGI in them.
kino
The stop motion in "leave me alone" is good too
Did he actually make any good music? Smooth Criminal is halfway ok but it's all just kind of meh
Almost the entire Thriller album was released as singles, Billie Jean has probably the most iconic bassline in history
SHAMONE!
