How did BvS try to pander to comicbook manchildren with a killer Batman and a troubled Superman?
BvS didn't play safe just for the sake to sate the comic book purists. It actually had a vision and went for it, for both good and bad. It tried to do new and interesting things that hadn't been done before. It also tried to explore themes that weren't in the vogue.
>Dishonest, Cynical film that's meant to pander to comicbook manchildren and ultimately ends up boring.

>Dishonest, Cynical film that's meant to pander to comicbook manchildren and ultimately ends up boring.

BvS pretty much broke every Cinemaphilegays by having a Batman that shoots guns and a Superman that isn't basically MCU Captain America. It's the main reason it got such a negative reception in the first place, outside of Disney's troll farms.
Both are bad but BvS actually inspires some kind of emotion from me. The Batman's sole problem is that it's so bereft of any ambition that it's a gruellingly stale experience.
BvS every time. For all it's flaws it entertained me, several times and I even ended up buying the extended version. Despite The Batman being a beautiful film at times, I barely remember any of it, and haven't gone back to watch it again even once.
The Batman is a rehashed version the Nolanverse but....EDGIER. It wasn't bad but seeing that universe once is enough. I have absolutely zero interest in exploring more of that universe....none.
The Snyderverse on the other hand is literally me coooming to a comic book movie. I could watch more of it all day.
The concept of batman fighting superman is so moronic. Superman would just fly at the speed of light into batman's cave and incinerate him with his laser vision. The fight would be over in seconds.
>inb4 muh kryptonite
Superman can punch batman into orbit before he even thinks about getting his kryptonite out.
I think you are missing the point that Superman wouldn't do that. Even in Injustice, when Clark as gone off the deep end, he ''just'' breaks Bruce's back to stop him being a vigilante, and it ends up costing him the win long term. Any BvS fight is going to be Batman pulling out all the stops and all his tricks to deliver a beating to a reluctant Superman. It's how it always plays out.

I was referring to Cinemaphile kek but it's good to know that you're a twatter/instagram migrant.
No it was even more moronic. Trying to portrait a paralelism between Batman and Superman because of the coincidence both their mothers are named Martha is fricking stupid, If he wanted to portrait that Superman was actually human, Snyder had 3 million otherways than to depend on "MARTHAAAA".
The riddler was moronic but Martha was convoluted, moronic and tried to pass itself as more meaningful and deep when it was never thought much an is most likely a first draft idea.
>Trying to portrait a paralelism between Batman and Superman because of the coincidence both their mothers are named Martha is fricking stupid
No it is not. Your assertion is not self evident and you have no argument to back it up.
>The Batman >Everyone loved
Maybe on reddit they did. Self-hating whites there probably loved a strong white man being turned into an ineffectual emo sissy boy. I can't imagine how low T one has to be to prefer The Batman's version of the character.
Snyder's world is more fun and interesting, but The Batman is by far the better film of these two. I love Batman v Superman, but definitely not in the way Snyder intended. It's probably the biggest budget "so bad it's good" film I've ever watched. I turn this shit on for bad movie night at it always hits. The fricking piss jar, Luthor giving every superhero his own logo, Martha, etc. It's a constant stream of stupid ideas. I do think that Snyder's Justice League redeems it though. Great film, and honestly probably the only genuinely good thing Snyder has ever made.
That's the way I feel about The Batman, except it's so bad I couldn't sit through the whole thing even once. Thumb drive, El rata alada, everybody calling Batman "vengeance", Batman punching Gordon, the faces Batman makes when he's trying to be angry, Ave Maria and Riddler's whole performance, the Joker scene with him giggling awkwardly. It just all came off like a total moron tried to do a Nolan-esque Batman, but even more gritty and self-serious, to the point that it often turned to unintentional comedy. Seriously, people laughed at Riddler's autistic screeching, and that didn't happen with BvS.
The Batman has more artistic integrity than any of those movies.
Sneedershit is all CG, Nolanshit is poetic homosexualry, and Burtonshit is the lesser BTAS.
The Batman is the peak of capeshit. It's all downhill after it.
>Artistic integrity
LMFAO. It's one of the most dishonest films in recent memory. Basically just some Fincher tropes combined with Nolan's Batman. It's an embarrassingly tryhard attempt at one upping Nolan at his own game.
>Film is moody and has rain
F-f-f-fincher!!! >Batman is somewhat real
N-n-n-n-nolan!!!
Seethe and seethe and seethe. Reeves uses genre to accentuate his themes visually. Sneeder never did that.

You can't. Because with Sneeder, it's about the CG and the nude men.
Being a contrarian doesn't make you smart. It makes you desperate.
[...]
Seethe harder homosexual. BvS has already reached cult classic status and will be discussed for years to come. Meanwhile The Batman has already been forgotten.
>Forgotten!
Then why is there a thread about it? Why is there a thread every day on here about it?
You see my homie with extra chromies, forgotten means gone.
The Batman is here to stay.
Everyone with eyes can tell that Hack Reeves stole the entire style of the film from Se7en. And he tried to out Nolan Nolan by going even more "gritty" and "realistic" with things like the ridiculous gliding suit instead of a glider cape. I wouldn't be surprised if those rumors were true that Hack Reeves plagiarized the screenplay from a comic script. He stole ideas and some specific shots from The Dark Knight and BvS.

Aww...isn't that cute. You're still seething about the fact Cinemaphile doesn’t give you the validation you need. >Then why is there a thread about it?
Almost every new thread is about some anon watching it for the first time and hating it. Kek. Must hurt, you're here 24/7 trying to shift the narrative around this movie but nobody is buying it and so you keep replying until you hopefully get the last word so that you can delude yourself into thinking you won the argument.
But here's the facts. This is a soulless piece of goyslop that won't have the staying power genuine cinema. If it's remembered, it'll be the same way The Force Awakens is remembered i.e as a shallow piece of corporate slop.
Seethe harder homosexual. BvS has already reached cult classic status and will be discussed for years to come. Meanwhile The Batman has already been forgotten.

Cope. If it wasn't a cult classic the snyder cut would've never got made homosexuals.
are you seriously going to bring up that shitfest like it wasnt some bot driven shill agenda? I mean it got the warner israelites to waste more money on this dumpster fire so its not all bad but dont for one second suggest there was a large organic fan movement for bvs
>muh bots
Even that pathetic rolling stone hit piece could only claim 17% of the movement on twitter being bots. The vast majority were organic fans that accomplished something unprecedented by strong arming the warner israelites.
>cult classic

in what way? burton and nolan revitalised the character, burton by pushing batman to be ever more dark and nolan for his realism schtick - what the frick did snyder do other than make batman kill?
>Whining about Batman killin
its not whining when it goes against the characters established ethos - you degenerates literally cry about skin color lol gtfo
So therefore it isn't cope. moron.
it is cope because you're arguing the snyder didn't ruin batman AND superman.
but leaving that aside why dont tards ever bring up the fact that the movie is a narrative mess that the plot is incoherent or the fact that they tried to shoehorn in an entire extended universe without ANY set up?

>it is cope because you're arguing the snyder didn't ruin batman AND superman
When did I say that? Snyder "ruined" Superman in Man of Steel, which is an entirely different topic. >why dont tards ever bring up the fact that the movie is a narrative mess that the plot is incoherent
Because you didn't watch the Ultimate Edition >or the fact that they tried to shoehorn in an entire extended universe without ANY set up?
Because WB wanted to compete with Civil War at the time despite Snyder insisting on more setup movies, which is surprisingly far from the worst idea WB has done, considering the following interference on Suicide Squad and Josstice League.
I hate capeshit but I actually tried watching Batman v Superman.
I sincerely, honestly tried. I downloaded it and pressed play, started to watch it, but the moment other superheroes start showing it I can't take it.
that's why after Avengers 1 I couldn't stand superheroe movies anymore, it's a fricking shitstorm with 500 different heroes from differnt universes or whatever the frick, it's too shit.
it's probably why I was able to watch joker and pattinson's batman, although the latter wasn't as good.
the moment it turns into the heroes club I'm out.
why is it this tendency? why can't those morons make movies like nolan's batman? 1 hero and a couple of bad guys.
is it lack of competence to right a decent story? i really wish I could understand it.
it's always 50 heroes, same tired humor and the reddit one-liners, cgi cringefest battles
Shared universes became the box office draw after Avengers took off. It's why Universal attempted their own thing with the monsterverse, the DCEU, and so on. But they couldn't replicate the same level of success.
I agree that solo movies are superior a lot of the time.
If they went darker and R rated with The Batman it would have felt finished. The intro of The Riddler acting like a cereal killer was interesting, but The Batman feels like an incomplete movie because they couldn’t handle it the idea of it being to gory, or scary.

>LOL! You don't like the fat drunk in the padded muscle suit? You like an actual actor? Cringe!!!
>#restoresneeder #bringfatfleck #zackpleasefilmmorebuffmen
I'm sorry people don't rate your skinny fat meth addict Batman anon.
Oh they do. Kek, they do. And I don't need Instagram chuds to flood mindless polls to feel confident.
I have what's called "taste". And "taste" allows me to pick and choose good content.
In layman's terms:
BvS - Bad
The Batman - Good
>Chuds
Lmfao of course the only people who like The Batman are /leftypol/ homosexuals and literal trannies.
>gatekeeps chud
What were you saying about leftists?
I'm not gatekeeping it I'm saying anyone who uses that word unironically is a moronic troony
>And I don't need Instagram chuds to flood mindless polls to feel confident.
I was referring to Cinemaphile kek but it's good to know that you're a twatter/instagram migrant.
What are you talking about? The Batman was planned for Affleck not Snyder.
Most of the people I know have said they prefer The Batman but I liked BvS more.
There is no choice.
Kinography>Bolllywood garbage
Tbh that's hard for me. Depends on the cut of left
BvS isn't even a Batman movie which is why I'm obviously going with The Batman.
MMMAAAAAARTTHHHAAAAAAA
Holy shit Snyder is fricking moronic.
Still not as moronic as this.
Cringe.
The parallelism was between batman and joe chill and bruce wayne and Superman you stupid moronic casual homosexual
Batfleck is easily the best batman in our lifetime.
neither theyre both zoomer trash.
Blessed thread. Checked.
you will never be a woman, pajeet
bvs is literally peak capeshit cinema, unfair comparison tbh and no im not shitposting
Based
This is a real stretch, bud.
I think you'd be surprised. Zack Snyder is almost certainly an initiate and his movies are littered with occult symbolism.
pretty images =/ good movie
plot and narrative are also important lol
Snyder's world is more fun and interesting, but The Batman is by far the better film of these two. I love Batman v Superman, but definitely not in the way Snyder intended. It's probably the biggest budget "so bad it's good" film I've ever watched. I turn this shit on for bad movie night at it always hits. The fricking piss jar, Luthor giving every superhero his own logo, Martha, etc. It's a constant stream of stupid ideas. I do think that Snyder's Justice League redeems it though. Great film, and honestly probably the only genuinely good thing Snyder has ever made.
Also Nolan is a hack autist.
My theater was howling in 2016 during the Martha scene.
Anybody who rates The Lemurman over Nolan, Burton or Snyder flicks is a legit moron who shouldn't be taken seriously.
Name one time where colors or shadows enhance represent what characters are feeling? Or when set design offers insight into their characterization?
You can't. Because with Sneeder, it's about the CG and the nude men.
Being a contrarian doesn't make you smart. It makes you desperate.
>Brought true cinema to a very corporate infested genre
vs
>Nolan trilogy but with more comic fanservice
Gee, I wonder which one.
When I think about it I think I like BvS more than The Batman.
ITT:
I only saw the DC of BvS and I enjoyed it. The Batman was a slog.
bvs: great vision, terrible execution
batman, the: boring vision, good execution
in a better world i pick bvs, in this world i don't care.
Seethe harder homosexual. BvS has already reached cult classic status and will be discussed for years to come. Meanwhile The Batman has already been forgotten.
>cult classic
lmao the overwhelming majority still think its dog shit cuck
The vast majority were organic fans that accomplished something unprecedented by strong arming the warner israelites.
>cult classic
you need to step out of you delusion bubble friend
>discussed for years
about its abhorrent quality, how it destroyed batman AND superman, how it couldn't even compete with thor, about its rabid and toxic fans? sure
don't you have photography class, homosexual?

On your head hopefully. Nobody is interested in garbage e-celeb shit.
literally no one has rebutted a single criticism. stay pressed troony
You have been quite handily crushed in every debate you've gotten into.
lmao all you snydercucks ever bring up is how good the cgi shitfest looks or your surface level theological arguments gtfo
>using video essays on youtube to support your argument
>linking movie slob unironically
lol
lmao even
Most of those are nerd seething over anything else meaningful.
This is pretty much the only video you need regarding BvS.
this is pure distilled cope
How is this cope? One of them clearly talks about how he still hates the movie for ruining Batman.
>for ruining Batman
which it did
It revitalized the character instead of rehashing the "muh realism" version like Reeves. Whining about Batman killing a few goons is pure reddit.
>It revitalized the character
in what way? burton and nolan revitalised the character, burton by pushing batman to be ever more dark and nolan for his realism schtick - what the frick did snyder do other than make batman kill?
>Whining about Batman killin
its not whining when it goes against the characters established ethos - you degenerates literally cry about skin color lol gtfo
it is cope because you're arguing the snyder didn't ruin batman AND superman.
but leaving that aside why dont tards ever bring up the fact that the movie is a narrative mess that the plot is incoherent or the fact that they tried to shoehorn in an entire extended universe without ANY set up?
>it is cope because you're arguing the snyder didn't ruin batman AND superman
When did I say that? Snyder "ruined" Superman in Man of Steel, which is an entirely different topic.
>why dont tards ever bring up the fact that the movie is a narrative mess that the plot is incoherent
Because you didn't watch the Ultimate Edition
>or the fact that they tried to shoehorn in an entire extended universe without ANY set up?
Because WB wanted to compete with Civil War at the time despite Snyder insisting on more setup movies, which is surprisingly far from the worst idea WB has done, considering the following interference on Suicide Squad and Josstice League.
So therefore it isn't cope. moron.
The one that doesn't have the most miscasted israelite skeleton in it.
The Batman obviously, you fricking morons.
Acquire taste redditor.
If they went darker and R rated with The Batman it would have felt finished. The intro of The Riddler acting like a cereal killer was interesting, but The Batman feels like an incomplete movie because they couldn’t handle it the idea of it being to gory, or scary.
