Disney 3 kingdoms?

Do you think Disney could make a movie involving a fairy tale about the 3 kingdoms of China?

They already have the 3d model.

I don't think there's very much of a way to spend a mistress or carcubide into a princess who never got higher than those levels who got you powerful bad men against each other.

          ESL-kun my eyes.

Also, that doesn't matter to Disney. They can spin anything into a "female" empowerment story. Well, they'll still flop hard at the box office, but they have spun the evil witch in Snow White before for example.

"Lu Bu" is actually Diao Chan dressing up as a man and him "betraying" Dong Zhuo is a huge girl boss feminine empowerment moment because the movie shows Dong as a tyrannical chauvinistic misogynist and that big battle where Lu Bu fights off Liu Bei, Zhang Fei, and Guan Yu all at once is the climax of the movie and "Lu Bu" is shown to be totally in the right all along and never weak and never loses.

Yes this is totally the equivalent of having a black mermaid at a 5 second kiss seed in other movies that is clearly means one is going to lead to this happening soon. Sarcasm.

Again, I think Disney sucks right now and China would be better off without their version.
Now if you said Dreamworks and made it in the style of Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, then we would be talking.
Sadly, I don't think RoTK has a western appeal at all.

My dude Dynasty Warriors was a perennial staple of vidya for like a straight decade from 2003 to 2013. Yes, it doesn't permeate through Western culture the way it does through Eastern culture, but even millennial normies have a vague idea of "that hack'n'slash game I played when I was a teenager that was pretty fun with the silly Chinese Wong Pong Ling Long names"

If we go with those 3 as the Sworn Peach Brothers Considering I'm pretty sure Donald has the most extensive expanded family not just the nephews but relatives like Scrooge McDuck he should Liu Bei making Liu Bei and we can make bunch of his relatives from the comics should be members of the Imperial family And they should definitely choose someone to have more focused than usual in 3 Kingdom's media among the royal family to be Scrooge McDuck.

Well for one if Donald is Liu Bei then he's his relative and he's the only relevant old guy in the story.
      >what could they do with him in a Disney movie
He would give shelter to Donald/Micky/Goofy after they escape from Cao Cao following the defeat of Yuan Shao (played by Gladstone Gander).

Seeing their track record with live action Mulan, I don't think China would give a shit. They hated that one chink movie too about that marvel kung fu guy that even tried to involve wushi theatrics later on.

Legends of the 10 Rings why would they hate that? I actually saw that whole movie and I don't know why the Chinese government would hate it.

Fu Manchu / Mandarin stereotype, even when it was retconned and modernized, was still seen as a racist characature. The main actor, Liu, made the chinese govt upset by criticizing the govt in an off hand twitter post.
        >Liu described China as a "third world" country where people were "dying of starvation" when he and his parents left. A screenshot of his comments has circulated on Weibo, a popular social networking platform in China, with one user commenting: "Then why does he play a Chinese character?"

        Growing US-China tensions.

gonna be honest with you that ship has long sailed. also Disney isn't one I'd trust to make epics since their brand is rooted in character-centric productions

Disney makes movies based around many different fairy tales. The 3 kingdoms of China has a lot of fairy tales about it that they could focus on numerous different ones to make a princess movie or such.

I don’t think so. Too bloody and too convoluted to follow for a mainstream American audience.

They said that about HBO Rome but that was kino as frick and well regarded. Still, I tend to lean eith others here who say Disney's version would just suck ass.

I don't think you would want a Disney 3k. Would ruin it to a new era of zoomie foreigners who never heard of RoTK. That and Disney only does live action shit nowadays because it's relatively less expensive for a return on investment.

I'd see that she's probably limits for Dynasty Warriors because he loves interest with someone else in that game they might actually do it.

Cute. Mine would be reverse-Mulan, Zheng Jiang. Though I highly doubt Disney would extend that far if at all.
