I have an Aunt and Uncle who dated each other for two weeks before getting married and they've been together for 40 years.

Beauty and the beast forever for me
Ever since I watched it I couldn't stop fantasizing about kidnapping women, it's the biggest fantasy for me. I think the ideal realtionship is the one where you don't need any contact with other human beings whatsoever, I think it was really romantic when she just stayed with him and couldn't even see another human being. It's like they were the whole world to each other. It made me very upset when she wanted to see her father, in my fantasies the girl never wants to leave my castle ever.

        >Anon how did you make this connection as a child?
I watched it and liked it a lot, I became really obsessed with it as a concept and frequently imagine myself kidnapping various women. Every day before going to sleep I play out this fantasy of stalking a girl I like, learning her behaviour and habits and what products she uses, sizes she wears to prepare ideal room for her and then I kidnap her and we spend eternity together. At first she resists it obviously but over time she gets used to it and in fact falls in love with me even harder than I am with her as I'm her entire world.
        >Can I ask you about your current social/work life?

At this point they're both grown enough that you don't care, but in the cartoon they had plucky teenager eugene steal from the queen and then they flashed over to rapunzel as a baby in the tower. When they do that then it feels just a little weird even though it's not

He is an a solute Chad who sings & dances with random hot chicks in the forest while out riding.

Kills a dragon! No other Prince except Eric has slain such a mighty foe & Eric used a fricking boat, Phillip used a sword & shield.

Phillip is the GOAT. Eric, Aladdin, & Beast are runners up depending on specifics, ut no one tops Phil

    >literal prostitute had a job to seduce main character
    >falls in love for real but thinks she is not worth him

      >she's never allowed herself to fall in love again because she thinks she'll just get tricked by a half-beast again

          Anonymous

Kek I had to remind myself how it went down with everyone seething. She left the man who loved her for who she was and wanted to share the world with her for a dude who fell for her after she changed herself and got her a bunch of shiny things. I know they wanted it to follow history but it’s just too rich. Role model for young girls indeed.

Since when did the writers care about being accurate to history?

            Anonymous

Well the first Pocahontas movie wasn't really accurate, which is why the second movie seems so jarring. In real life Pocahontas was around 12 and John Smith was 28 when she saved him from her father. She married John Rolfe six years later and didn't meet Smith again in England until three years after that. She considered him more like a father figure.

      >Villains are morally justified to kill protag, even if self-serving. They're just a little too zealous.
