Do you think the Looney Tunes need more female characters?

Do you think the Looney Tunes need more female characters? maybe some characters can have a gender swap like they did with some Hanna Barbera characters?

You have Penelope, Lola, Tina/Melissa and Petunia
Develop them more and have them appear more often

Honestly surprised they didn’t port over Queen Ty’rahnee from the Duck Dodgers cartoon, I feel like this would’ve been an easy one. I guess it’s because they don’t really do much with Marvin.
Surprised they haven’t done this as well. Though I think Penelope’s off limits because of the whole Pepe debacle.

        >Though I think Penelope’s off limits because of the whole Pepe debacle.
I suspect they'll incorporate her independent of Pepe in some way in the coming future.

She actually isn’t, she’s appeared in the comics and a few minor things since Pepe’s ban
They don’t have the clear project or idea how to reapproach her without association to Pepe but they did it before in the 90s and very much could do it now if they want.
If she co-starred with Lola in a Looney Tunes series focusing on the females they could adjust it nicely

It doesn't really bother me. Cinemaphile's idea of humor is shit anyway. "Punching bag, but a girl" is not really my idea of clever or funny, but that's what people here seem to want, for some stupid reason.

huh? female slapstick is appreciated because is rare but that doesn't mean people only want that

We need more female furries getting into slapstick, that's why the vixen in the catsuit is so hot.

I mean there WERE plenty of female characters in the OG Looney Tunes shorts, they just weren't typically the focus of their shorts. Looney Tunes in general is weird because the identity of those shorts quickly devolved from "situational satire" to "stock cartoon antics." It became a parody of itself. In this new style, you could create a rogues gallery of Looney Tunes villains (male and female) but none of them are going to stick because they aren't identifiable personalities. They're just stock cartoon adversaries. Wabbit was nothing but a series of Looney Tunes cast member audition... and nobody passed.

If you want to make long-lasting Looney Tunes characters, base them off of celebrities. Very specific people you encounter in reality: braggarts, smart-alecks, hustlers, snobs. Give them distinct voices and weird dialects, unique comedy bits and routines. Don't hit this new character on the head with an anvil again. Make this character announce their presence, chew the scenery, steal the show... THEN hit them with an anvil.

Looney Tunes humor is based on the real world first, fiction second. The humor works because it distorts reality while simultaneously acknowledging it. So yes, Looney Tunes can have more female characters... but only if they're funny.

the problem with the domo haircut is that she doesn't have ears and that doesn't make sense

Wabbit really shot itself in the foot by having so many designs be weirder than they needed to be, the black chick they used as a rival for Lola was barely recognizable as a human and that isnt even my racism speaking. The only one i liked just the way it was is the Cougar.
