I think, ideally, the place to add it in is when the meep is explaining the meep's pronouns, which would also make that scene a bit more important to the plot and come across as less "let's fit in a pronouns discussion just for the social value".
So the Meep says "my chosen pronouns are the definitive article" - The Doctor can then do a sweep around the room to check everyone's pronouns as he had just been called out for assumption - he can even come back with his own pronouns, and lean in to his recent transformation

Thirdly, we have the actual best installment, but fans of the previous just go on and on about it not being as good or iconic or whatever even though it's plainly better, and generally gets overshadowed.
Fourthly, we have the punk influenced edgy continuation of the previous themes whch is starting to show the cracks in the team and the negatives of one persons influence in particular. not freindly to casuals.
Fifthly; overlong, pretentious, convoluted, most casual fans can't get through it all and usually just picck out one or two highlights, and people can tell the creative team that made the previous installments so good has disintegrated.
Sixthly; one persons ego has taken over the whole thing and nobody is satisfied except them. long term fans don't even consider this installment canon as it's obviously just the mouthpeice of that one guy, riding roughshod over the rest, and only has the famous name slapped on it to benefit the suits in charge

Season 2 is RTD's worst season and even "Girl in the Fireplace" is not that great.
She's the only modern companion who earned her place in the Tardis. Her debut episode does a great job of showing the qualities that separate her from other companions. Other companions are merely the result of circumstance or the season-long plot.
It's too bad they refuse to bring her back. I'm glad we at least got Donna again, if only for WBY.
