Yeah, but idealism is a universal trait. The specific "women should be able to do everything a man does, with no exploration of the social role of a man and perhaps deconstruction therein" execution that's very much Lisa isn't around anymore. Every woman under 50 hates Hillary Clinton; for her own reasons, certainly, but she's no longer aspirational. Having more diverse corrupt politicians and moronic CEOs is no longer the goal outside of a 90s tinged world.
Lisa actually seemed to want change, a lot of the modern ones do so largely for social validation and to be a part of the "in" thing. Just see how many clearly straight women start to claim to be whatever nonsense, like bisexual, nonbinary, pansexual, asexual, etc just to make themselves a part of the pride movement, because simply offering support doesn't do enough to boost her own social standing.
I don't know, bitter fans who endlessly b***h about what they're supposedly a fan of, despite continuing to obsessively consume, still seems a pretty common phenomenon, not to mention the increase in obesity rates. I guess what doesn't exist is that most of these types don't have the wherewithal or the financial opportunity to open a business, so they're instead working some shitty job while living with their parents.
