The only good threads were the old /shelf/ threads because people would actually discuss comics, old and new. Outside of that the catalog is legit one of the worst on the site. Cinemaphile might be the only one worse.
There was a decent recommendation thread a month or two ago showing Cinemaphile wasn't completely hopeless and we still have storytimes introducing hidden gems Cinemaphilemrades weren't otherwise familiar with like the Amelia Rules one
