>Sphere >The first thing the team establishes is that this ship is not alien but human-made. More specifically, American-made. The ship has somehow time-traveled from the future, with the last entry in the log being dated 06/21/43. Its mission was to use black holes to travel through interstellar space, gathering objects of possible interest to Earth.
Only 20 years left get crackin'
I remember when I was younger I was terrified of shutting my eyes completely in a shower or bath in case I was somehow teleported to the wreck of the Titanic or another undersea wreck. I still have this fear and don't know how to fix it
it was peak comfy before it sank
I've often though about it
imagine drinking a nice single malt looking the waitress who will probably frick you because your rich and can offer her a better life but you are already in an organised marriage to some hot chick but you can have a mistress if you want anyways
>tfw will never be a 1st class passenger in a state of the art ocean liner in the 1910’s >tfw will never enjoy fine meals, a gorgeous ocean view and end the day with cigars, brandy and billiards with the boys in the comfy lounge
I hate cruise ships man, they don’t have any of the class of an ocean liner.
I’ve always wanted to fly on a zeppelin too, the one in Last Crusade looked really comfy.
It must have been both exciting and scary to see the Atlantic Ocean below.
Do Americanfriends know that is supposed to be a hard g sound? I'm not a linguist so I can't express what I mean. It's just funny to imagine people reading it as written
Not as much anymore; a few weeks ago I had a really vivid dream about dying. I was just lying down in my bed, a typical wake up dream scenario, when suddenly my heart started beating irregularly, almost like a panic attack but more subdued. My vision soon started blurring, slowly at first and then rapidly. I understood I was fading and an intense anxiety gripped me for what seemed like ages but what was only a few seconds. Then there was just a release, almost orgasmic but more like a sneeze, followed by pure nothing. Almost immediately after i woke up but in that instant I think I felt an approximation of what death felt like and it didn't feel bad. It didn't necessarily feel good either but I've been feeling bad for so long that I'd take neutrality any day. Since then the prospect of death hasn't been quite as daunting.
I had that during Kursk, especially because there were definite signs of life for a little while, and because they were trapped in shallow waters. Imagine salvation being just out of reach, but you're still just as doomed as the millionaires on Titan.
>My guys don't know how to handle one of these things, they're men used to living on the rig, not some pencil necked boys playing with toys.....no offense
They will need to find the sub for that. It is just as easy for the lawyers to point to the successful expeditions and say safety was not an issue. Could have easily been a freak accident that took them out.
I'm not sure it ever dawned on them. To go your entire life treated like royalty and then suddenly abandoned at the bottom of the ocean to rot, it probably won't sink in until their final breaths.
>Wendy Rush, wife of the missing Titanic submarine pilot, is the great-great-grandaughter of two first-class passengers who died arm in arm on the Titanic
>A fictionalized version of the couple was featured in James Cameron's 'Titanic' (1997)
Why do everyone make fun of them? It's so bizarre. Even one of the stuck(soon to be dead) rich's guys stepson is just going to concerts not giving a damn, lol.
>Why do everyone make fun of them
Payin a quarter million dollars to be crouching with your back bended and shoeless in a freezing tin can operated by a chinese joystick is stupid
People like to make fun of stupid
Because it is funny. 250k is a lifechanging sum of money. For almost anyone, even millionaires would appreciate getting 250k. But these billionaire dumbfricks literally paid 250k so they can see a ship and now they are dead because of it. It is really really fricking funny.
As time has gone on and more info drops they just become more contemptuous. Mostly just the moron who is piloting it and the Frenchman who literally loots the titanic for plunder, but at this point I expect it to come out that one of them was an abuser or a rapist or a nonce or something. The sheer stupidity, the hubris, the casualness of billionaires to be misers when their lives are on the line probably because they have been taken care of their entire life and can't fathom being at the whim of something else.
I only really feel bad about the zoomer. He didn't deserve to go out like that.
Nepo baby. No idea if he's a decent sort or an Uday-Quasy entitled rapist. Given Pakistani and billionaire heir I assume the latter.
His dad is a muslim paki.
Do you think Muslim billionaires live like pious and puritanical mullahs?
They are rich so they deserve to die I guess. Somehow being rich is supposed to make this NOT one the most miserable ways to die imaginable. Pointing thag out is somehow “defending” billionaires. And poor brown people that have nothing at all to do with this situation didn’t get saved. Somehow them dying is a political thing for many people.
That being said, the controller, the “toilet”, all the hack jobs done by the CEO do make the situation pretty comical. But the comedy should be in the absurdity of the tragic situation, but many people are gleeful at the actual deaths of these people, like they would be joyful no matter how they died and are using the bizarre circumstances of the situation to hide their actual cold and heartless reaction to human suffering. Like these people did them all wrong personally. A bunch of weirdos with parasocial grudges.
Again I really don’t understand how this became some kind of political token where you are supposedly on a “side”. I think a lot of parts of the story are funny and a lot of parts of the story are very sad.
It’s incredibly hard to feel any sympathy for a bunch of billionaires who’ve never had to work a day in their lives dying because they were too stupid to realise they were being scammed. These people could lift thousands out of poverty with just their own funds but instead they blow it on stuff like this. Why wouldn’t people laugh at them?
Do you really not understand why? They got conned into locking themselves (literally) into a sales pitch by a dangerously irresponsible madman who is either holding them hostage or who was genuinely hoping that he could impress them with his “economical” solutions to the problem of affordable, deep sea tourism.
The sheer number of red flags regarding this whole thing is astounding, but these morons went through with it anyway. I wonder if they all knew they were going to do something suicidally dangerous but ended up in a social game of “billionaire chicken” where none of them were willing to back down from going along what was obviously the worst idea of all time.
This is a story too juicy to not get fleshed out. I can’t fricking wait to hear what happens next.
>wonder if they all knew they were going to do something suicidally dangerous
They had to sign a waiver that stated it was an experimental sub and there was a possibility they would die so yeah
There was limited space on escape vessels. If I could potentially save someone else's life by literally doing nothing, I would not miss that opportunity.
about an hour ago someone was saying roughly 9 hours
now it takes 2.5 hours to get to the surface
so if it doesn't get moving in the next 5.5ish hours they won't make it to the surface in time
and lets not forget even if they did the hatch is bottled closed from the outside and they can't open it from the inside so they'd still die of lack of air
even just laying prone and not moving would save a lot of air, as the weight of the body (and compression of bulging boomer guts) would constrict the lungs and stabilize breathing.
... why is it so small?
For a submarine this should only be able to just dive 10~20 meters within 30 minutes to maximum 1 hour, and only for 2~3 persons.
Why would anyone with half a brain think this mini sub could get to where the Titanic rests?
It's Joever. If they were lucky they died in an explosive decompression when they lost communication. If they were unlucky they are currently floating vertically in the cold, pitch darkness, emptying their bowls on each other and unable to move while they suffocate on sewage air.
like the thing imploded from the pressure and got all warped and twisted with metal swinging around wacking into the what's left of the hull due to underwater ocean currents
like the thing imploded from the pressure and got all warped and twisted with metal swinging around wacking into the what's left of the hull due to underwater ocean currents
But every 30 minutes? I am not too keen on it but that's the interesting part here.
Anyways, I saw this being shared around, the sub is white or grey. Even if it was on the surface, rescue wouldn't be able to see it.
>Anyways, I saw this being shared around, the sub is white or grey. Even if it was on the surface, rescue wouldn't be able to see it.
lmao reminds me of how Musk refuses to allow yellow safety tape in his factories even though it is federally required. Richgays and their hubris is fricking hilarious.
if they weren't found 10 hours ago there is 0 hope even if they found them at zero hour and some how saved them the damage is done they are no longer the same.
The only glimmer of hope left is that one guy went sicko mode and killed the others for their air. He could buy maybe another day or two because the cool internal temperature of the sub would stave off putrefaction a little bit, but eventually the bacteria would eat up all the remaining oxygen he would have had if he didn't have to share that coffin with a bunch of rotting bodies.
I'm Spaniard, and they only seem to attack refugee boats, but leave alone fishing boats or recreative boats according to our news. Why are they doing that?
>I'm Spaniard, and they only seem to attack refugee boats, but leave alone fishing boats or recreative boats according to our news.
No you are american and repeating fake news. Thanks for trying lol
Funny because they've been attacking random boats all over for the last year, none of which have been migrant boats since they don't have rudders or loud motors. Keep coping though.
i don't care if your a bait post or not but they are highly intelligent creatures fishing boat (can get caught up in nets) they have hooks and other things that can be used as weapons maybe even guns
they've probably encountered them before and had bad experiences
where as refugee boats are packed to the rafters with people precariously sitting on the edge of the hull
killer whales have eyes and think hmmm if i just bump this boat maybe one of these humans will fall overboard and i can eat them
Killer whales have never eaten humans. They have however bitten the rotors off of multiple non-refugee boats within the last year and rammed them as well.
>Killer whales have never eaten humans
that's debatable people have disappeared in the water with killer whales witnessed in the area
their was a big scientific mystery as to why they didn't attack humans because they could frick us up maybe they have learnt behaviour not to frick with humans because it means bad outcomes for them
maybe one of them got bold and it paid off and they suddenly realised these pink seals aren't that scary anymore like they were 200 years ago so lets have a go at them
i don't care if your a bait post or not but they are highly intelligent creatures fishing boat (can get caught up in nets) they have hooks and other things that can be used as weapons maybe even guns

Yeah but it wouldn't sustain threads and conversations and riffs like this is doing. People would read they died, say "heh based" and forget about 10 seconds later.

Given your disdain of poor browns considering the use of it as a pejorative I am 100% certain you've either participated in or enjoyed hearing about refugee boats sinking during the great migration crisis. I do not begrudge you for that given what the refugees are doing to Europe and the more danger facing refugees the less they'll want to invade Europe. But what I do find deplorable is your smarmy little bullshit of suddenly crying about the poor widdle billionaires. How they're dying is horrible? Yeah, no shit. And if you gave most people the choice of "send a billionaire to die in a alibaba iron lung or stay at home in their 17 different mansions" most would not choose to send someone to die.
They chose to frick around and find out, they chose to flippantly disregard safety and security because of lives of entitled narcissists who are immune to consequences. And now they're getting an appreciation of how they can't spend their way out of this mess. Except they could have! Had they not been so arrogant! It's hilarious. And had any of us little people warned them about the dangers beforehand (given they were warned about the dangers beforehand!) They'd have dismissed us. Or fired us, since they fired the guy who warned them about it!
You're a concern trolling sanctimonious homosexual, you are not more moral than the people mocking them. Rather, you're a lot like male feminist allies who larp and larp about how bad others are while having enough skeletons in the closet to be a graveyard. Take the fricking beam out of your eye before you b***h about the speck in ours.
And more seriously what do you want? Just 10 billion threads of "oh those poor souls 🙁 how terrible 🙁 How awful what a terrible way to die".

True, their deaths are certainly the consequences of their own actions. I'm not trying to say that. And your criticism on the "poor brown people" line is fair. They were overconfident and ignored all of the many warning signs and got a brutal reality check.
I don't want anything. I'm not trying to concern troll or tell people they shouldn't joke about it. I'm just saying that I personally think it's a little weird to be so happy about the deaths of people you don't know as if they have done you some great wrong personally just by being so overly wealthy. I laughed at a lot of parts of the story. I think the memes coming from it are hilarious. I also think being trapped somewhere as uncomfortable as that submarine looks with enough to time to realize and know you will die slowly and there being nothing you can do to stop it sounds terrible no matter who you are.

dude falling asleep and dying in your sleep is probably the easiest ways to go out homie relax and lets be real they aren't alive the whole banging sound they heard was just some bs they made up to give false hope
the thing was breached and crushed and they all died instantly
so fast that their brain couldn't register the pain it should be receiving from all their crushed bodied
again a nicer way to go out rather than have your balls chewed off by a pitbull while your drugged out and held at gun point by narco's
or whatever horrors are going on in the ukraine
stop being a b***h this is just hubris of the rich where normal people are like i wouldn't of done that
if you gave me all that money i'd have gone to monaco and wasted it on the casino's and bout a mclaren or some shit

That would certainly be ideal for them. I'm not saying it's the worst way to die. I'm not mourning these people or trying to "defend" them. I'm just saying that it sucks IF they didn't die instantly. They shouldn't have gotten on the sub and the only reason they did is because they are rich and thought they knew better. It's their fault and for that getting mocked is fair game. BUT assuming they didn't get crushed to death or drown instantly, the other ways they will probably die and the situation they will be in until that happens sucks.
If they just died instantly or will all pass out and die in their sleep, then yeah there is nothing to say.
Again, it's not the mockery of how they died that I find weird, it is the glee people feel at them being dead, which many would seem to feel no matter how they died. I'm not glad they're dead, I'm not sad they're dead.

i find no glee in it it's just a spectacle for me
i feel pitty for these fools
but unless they are killing each other and having brutal fights in that tight contained environment to increase their amount of oxygen they are gunna die nice deaths
i don't want to climb everest and go pass cadavers of dead climbers just so i can say i reached the summit that's macabre and these are the sort of people you are crying over they are happy to walk over the graves of dead people just to say hey "i did it"
i'd much rather go to a track day with my ferrari ya feel me
it's just a big dick measuring contest the rich do like learning bjj or do celebrity boxing or some other dumb shit
if i was rich you'd never hear about me all my online shit would be scrubbed

NTA, that sub imploded days ago and 5 people got what they signed up for. I don’t know them and couldn’t care less. I would never choose send 5 people to their death either. But saying and joking about a crazy situation like this is hardly immoral, if anything the negative attention could drive more people to consider safety in their own lives or something. Who knows. If it were me in that sub and I knew someone were laughing at me I’d hope to at least have kept my sense of humor about things
Guys, I used to think Prometheus was a dumb movie and that the people in it would never actually act that under those circumstances. I'm starting to change my mind.
He was the son of a billionaire, I'm sure his dad probably got him some prostitutes for his 18th birthday or something if he hadn't managed to get laid yet
Dad's a billionaire, he should have no problem going down himself first to see that it's safe then blowing another 250k to bring his son down with him.
>want to do something nice with your dad for Father's Day >he's been talking about diving down to the Titanic for years >sounds like moronic boomer shit but maybe you'll at least see some whales or sharks or cool fish >end up dying a horrible death
1 billion is a thousand millions. Which is 4000 250ks. The motherfricker couldn't even spare an extra 250k to go down himself to make sure it was safe, he had to bring his son with him on their first trip. This Paki piece of shit couldn't even spare 2/4000 of his overall wealth to ensure the safety of his son. Imagine having 4k with you and not even spending 2 dollars to make sure your son would survive.
And that's assuming he had only a billion dollars, it was likely more. Poorgays cannot comprehend the absolutely goofy amount of wealth these shitheads have. It's actually criminal.
he's used to taking risks and see's it as a part of business life to be ruthless and play big to win big and that's how he probably made his money but the outcome when something bad happens is he just loses money or a business or a real estate so it's no biggie
and he's made a false equivalence of that to doing dare devil shit where the likelihood of the outcome is way higher and that outcome is you die
>and that's how he probably made his money
And being born rich with enough liquid capital to eat the risks that normies can't risk taking, along with insider knowledge and rampant corruption. Too bad you can't bribe mother nature.
yeah that too ofcourse but that's more just the lobbying of government to make entry into business much higher through fee's and licensing and shit like that
although i heard a state like 15 years ago that 80% of small business's fail
but that's probably got to do with the massive loan you have to take out to pay for over heads and fees and licesnses and shit like that not too mention stock or whatever materials equipment machines you need to make your product

my point is all these mega corps want more regulation because it stops potential competitors from entering the market because they can't afford to get through all the red tape and then the mega corp takes their potential market
You tell me. >He told CBS News: ‘You know, there’s a limit. At some point safety just is pure waste. I mean if you just want to be safe, don’t get out of bed. >‘Don’t get in your car. Don’t do anything. At some point, you’re going to take some risk, and it really is a risk/reward question. I think I can do this just as safely by breaking the rules.’
https://metro.co.uk/2023/06/20/titanic-sub-ceo-was-worried-about-resurfacing-18980155/
Interesting nugget >Rush then added he was most worried about the about the submarine’s ability to resurface.
>‘What I worry about most are things that will stop me from being able to get to the surface,’ he said.
>‘Overhangs, fish nets, entanglement hazards. And, that’s just a technique, piloting technique. It’s pretty clear – if it’s an overhang, don’t go under it. If there is a net, don’t go near it. So, you can avoid those if you are just slow and steady.’
>At some point safety just is pure waste. I mean if you just want to be safe, don’t get out of bed. Don’t get in your car. Don’t do anything. At some point, you’re going to take some risk, and it really is a risk/reward question. I think I can do this just as safely by breaking the rules.’
Imagine him saying the same shit to them while stuck at the bottom of the ocean, kek

it is called ocean"gate" could be a hit on the paki billionaires with the british guy killing himself as part of the hit maybe a family member of his is in some kind of trouble and he struck a deal to get them out if he did this
But that's the thing. There are risks and risks. Some stuff is just blatant madness. The "risks" these guys took to build their "empires" are not even close to this kind of venture and the car thing he mentions is just to support his argument, it's not even in the same ballpark. The downside of this tuna mission had clearly asymmetrical nightmarish conditions.
you could truly say the same thing about airliners as they constantly get delayed for stupid bullshit, but it's still better than the alternative. he's kind of stuck in a lean and mean way of business, but that doesn't work under these scenarios
The CEO was only on the descent because they had failed to make any proper visits to the wreckage for the "season" and everyone was getting worried. The company was failing, thus why they paid Good Morning America for that puff piece.
Do you think they got to see some cool fish at least? I've always wanted to explore the sea in an exploratory sub and see all the crazy aquatic life with my own eyes. Would be in a proper vessel though not a tin can with an 8 inch porthole
The open ocean is one of the least interesting places on earth.
Jacques Costeau's last words were I can't believe the ocean sucks so much.
Now rivers... phwoar yes rivers now we're talking
And coastal shelves? With coral reefs? Yes lad YES.
Why are these trips allowed to even be solo manned? They should have departed in a deployment of at least 2-3 subs so if one fails or gets trapped, the other one or two can get help. I hope these "thrill" rides are even more strictly regulated or just banned completely. Send unmanned subs only at those ridiculous depths. Who the frick needs to see a rotting boat in person?
There won't be more regulations since they used a lot of "research" loopholes and no one really wants to see those closed. We need more deep sea research. I want to build my subnautica base IRL before I fricking die.
Checked, and I respectfully disagree. If anything, we need more of these companies ferrying billionaires down to the bottom of the ocean. Deregulation is the key. Turn it into open season. Anybody can throw together a sub out of steel, or carbon fibre, or even fricking paper mache if it means we can get more and more billionaires to the bottom of the ocean. Imagine those trains in India, where they’re clinging to the sides and the roofs because of rampant overpopulation. Now take that, replace the ordinary people with billionaires, and point it straight down into the Marianas trench. If they don’t want to go, we force them on at gun point.
I agree, let's create a place at the bottom of the ocean, New Delhi let's call it for arguments' sake, and start telling all the rich people how many jobs there are at the bottom of the ocean and how they'd make more money there to take back home and buy a bigger house.
Eventually the billionaires will start opening up 7/11s and be out of our hair for good
meanwhile a dozen or more millionaires with fast tracked piloting licenses and souped up twin engines are dying in fiery terrain collisions every year and nobody cares
won't somebody think of the poor humble millionaire?
I think it's the other way around, anon >enjoy the little surprises and moments of life >start going into dangerous stuff for that ever high dopamine hit because life it's just too boring for you
Tell me who's dead inside now
I slept in a WWII submarine in Boy Scouts overnight years ago and it looked a million times more advanced than this piece of shit, it was actually kind of comfy.
Do you think they knew they were going to implode before it happened?
Or was it so sudden they had no chance to think before they were all conglomerated into a goo cube
>this would never have happened without him
Titanic was discovered 11 years before the movie came out. There wreck was visited several times in those 11 years.
Zero chance that this didn’t implode. They lost comms too soon for them to have gotten to the titanic and get stuck in the wreck, because that’s the only reason that a 7 failsafe system would not get them to the surface. The worst case is if they did surface and because of the weather they’re invisible since in their incompetence they painted it white and do not have a GPS system.
Yes and according to the videos that are going around in those dives they pretty quickly started dropping ballast when the comms were lost. But they regained it and kept going but slower. Either they kept going with no navigation and somehow made it to the titanic by memory or something and got tangled. I don’t see how they can’t resurface
He was probably raised by his dad on that whole shit about "risk taking" and "aiming to the impossible", where all of it's nothing more than regulatory capture, inheritance and survivorship bias, as usual. Kid might have grew thinking he was destined to great things and just wanted an unique experience with his dad. SAD
>Cameron said he couldn't wait anymore. He jumped into his sub and went searching for the missing sub >He made contact with "something" >Disappeared right afterwards
what has elon said about this is he rapidly building a rescue sub that uses lithium batteries to get to the ocean's depths in minutes instead of hours?
>Take out storage device >Edit the audio files to add a monster scream in the last couple seconds >Reseal it and leave it on a beach for the next person to find
Ebin prank
>Paul-Henry Nargeolet, who is piloting the Titan and one of the five on board, once gave a stern warning of what could happen in a situation like the OceanGate submersible is in now: "'When you're in very deep water, you're dead before you realize that something is happening, so it's just not a problem
They didn't suffer bros
It's alright
>OceanGate
Gotta wonder if a real "OceanGate" was brewing in politics (maybe a s part of Gizzlaine Maxwell's TerraMar project) and they've mounted this shit in part to swamp search results on it.
Man, I'm watching the documentary of James Cameron's dive and there was an insane amount of work put into that shit. I cannot fricking believe these people thought they could skirt by forever without some sort of catastrophic failure happening.
His education explains it pretty well. I met people at uni that went to King’s School. They do not operate in normal terms. What you would consider disgustingly wealthy means nothing to them.
>me personally i think it was orca's
I agree. I’ve been to Marineland. You can tell those shifty black-and-white motherfrickers are planning something. I wouldn’t put it past them to blackmail a person into murder-suicide.
what if i was one of the paki's and had a huge currie for brekky before the launch
would that be a probably my sloppy curry shit everywhere in the bucket and the back spray??!!! and also my curry farts
It's possible they tried to abort the mission due to that and something went wrong. Comms failed 1 hour and a half after the trip started. You might be onto something here, anon...
The state of that sub, looks like a death trap. I'd expect a real machine. You could offer me a billion bucks to get on it, I would just flee and never even consider it.
The sea freaks the FRICK out of me. Just the idea of a huge dark place that tries to actively kill you makes any movie set in there a horror film for me. Now that this Titan shit has been in the news, I've had multiple nightmares about being stuck in the submarine myself
The movie that made me most scared of the ocean wasn't even an ocean movie. It was a hard sci-fi film I can't remember the name of about a manned mission to Titan or something and at the end the ice cracks and the ship falls into the alien ocean. Just that idea of not only been stuck in the depths of sea but the isolation of space at the same time really got to me.
TOP TREASURE HERE
GO FARTHER
yeah but sadly it's a lost film
Proto 60 Minutes Re-enactment
hunt for red october
ocean freaks me out tho
Red October is undersea kino of the highest order
What's the casting list looking like now?
HE wouldn't have made this mistake if he was a sub pilot
Why is it always 50 year old white men with white hair
Sphere never made any sense to me. Why would Sam Jackson refuse to eat squid if he were scared of them? Who fricking does that?
>Sphere
>The first thing the team establishes is that this ship is not alien but human-made. More specifically, American-made. The ship has somehow time-traveled from the future, with the last entry in the log being dated 06/21/43. Its mission was to use black holes to travel through interstellar space, gathering objects of possible interest to Earth.
Only 20 years left get crackin'
6/21 huh and 2023 + 20 years huh.
huh
I liked Underwater (2020), it was fun for what it was and the monsters looked cool.
It was OK until le cthulhu showed up. So tired of that public domain tripe.
does anyone else get a sinking feeling in their stomach when they imagine being them trapped at the bottom of the ocean, slowly dying with no escape?
I remember when I was younger I was terrified of shutting my eyes completely in a shower or bath in case I was somehow teleported to the wreck of the Titanic or another undersea wreck. I still have this fear and don't know how to fix it
it was peak comfy before it sank
I've often though about it
Same but with picrel
I fricking hate heights and lose my shit above 3 floors. I can't even imagine. Yes my life is hell.
damn that is comfy
imagine drinking a nice single malt looking the waitress who will probably frick you because your rich and can offer her a better life but you are already in an organised marriage to some hot chick but you can have a mistress if you want anyways
And they say envy's a sin.
for me 90's tier luxury was peak luxury
like none of this green energy luxobarge cars and leather and wood everywhere could fill your house up with rainforest wood furniture and antiques
frick i wish i was richie rich back in the 90's
>tfw will never be a 1st class passenger in a state of the art ocean liner in the 1910’s
>tfw will never enjoy fine meals, a gorgeous ocean view and end the day with cigars, brandy and billiards with the boys in the comfy lounge
I hate cruise ships man, they don’t have any of the class of an ocean liner.
Now imagine all that but in the air.
I’ve always wanted to fly on a zeppelin too, the one in Last Crusade looked really comfy.
It must have been both exciting and scary to see the Atlantic Ocean below.
they gaan already anon.
Do Americanfriends know that is supposed to be a hard g sound? I'm not a linguist so I can't express what I mean. It's just funny to imagine people reading it as written
Good question.
I read it like that naturally as an aussie because that's already how we pronounce going.
I read it like "GAAAAHN" soft a
We read it like We gaan. Sort of like Vegan
Nah sounds comfy, I'd love to sit in darkness at the bottom of the ocean with an overflowing shit bucket
Since then the prospect of death hasn't been quite as daunting.
i'm at peace with death the only thing that would bother me is i'd want one last sip of single malt before i die
I hope the dude that was with his son at least has other children because your whole lineage dying in such a stupid way is depressing as frick
I don't, I want that bloodline wiped out.
The ultimate Darwin Award
Exactly.
darwin has nothing to do with your specific bloodline
Yes he does. I'm his direct descendant.
this and nutty putty give me that exact feeling despite knowing I would never put myself in these situations
I had that during Kursk, especially because there were definite signs of life for a little while, and because they were trapped in shallow waters. Imagine salvation being just out of reach, but you're still just as doomed as the millionaires on Titan.
The Abyss
there's a good 'making of' film too, "Under Pressure - Making The Abyss"
>im putting together a team
>My guys don't know how to handle one of these things, they're men used to living on the rig, not some pencil necked boys playing with toys.....no offense
Read Sphere
Legit one of my favorite books
My favourite part is when they cover up the existence of the Sphere to prevent it from being exploited in yet another Crichton theme park
>sounds kino
>is slow and Norwegian
🙁
i really enjoyed it because it was realistic
They will need to find the sub for that. It is just as easy for the lawyers to point to the successful expeditions and say safety was not an issue. Could have easily been a freak accident that took them out.
Funny that Das Boot hasn't even been mentioned
Fkin zoomers baka
What do you think the xonversation between the father and son was like when it finally dawned on them that they won't be rescued?
I'm not sure it ever dawned on them. To go your entire life treated like royalty and then suddenly abandoned at the bottom of the ocean to rot, it probably won't sink in until their final breaths.
How poetic
>Why do everyone make fun of them?
What's the current rate of inflation? How much does a house cost? When was the last time you had sex?
Because it is funny. 250k is a lifechanging sum of money. For almost anyone, even millionaires would appreciate getting 250k. But these billionaire dumbfricks literally paid 250k so they can see a ship and now they are dead because of it. It is really really fricking funny.
It isnt really the amount paid so much, as the amount paid to such a shady company...who makes double shady equipment.
Frfr not bussin he finna die nocap
because social media
social media has been ruining civilization for about 10-15 years now
and it will get so, so much within the next 5
I'd be pretty depressed if I was a teen, too. I'm almost 30 and I just don't give a frick, but you still care about shit as a teenager.
Nepo baby. No idea if he's a decent sort or an Uday-Quasy entitled rapist. Given Pakistani and billionaire heir I assume the latter.
A bunch of weirdos with parasocial grudges.
>implying you weren’t laughing along until you noticed the wrong people were laughing as well
Again I really don’t understand how this became some kind of political token where you are supposedly on a “side”. I think a lot of parts of the story are funny and a lot of parts of the story are very sad.
>Somehow being rich is supposed to make this NOT one the most miserable ways to die imaginable.
they will just pass out and die in their sleep bro i can think of much worse ways to do die bro
They had to sign a waiver that stated it was an experimental sub and there was a possibility they would die so yeah
>people who just give up and die
I don't understand.
sounds about white
There was limited space on escape vessels. If I could potentially save someone else's life by literally doing nothing, I would not miss that opportunity.
titanic
ok lads lets get back on track how much air do they have left?
Less than 24 hours
about an hour ago someone was saying roughly 9 hours
now it takes 2.5 hours to get to the surface
so if it doesn't get moving in the next 5.5ish hours they won't make it to the surface in time
and lets not forget even if they did the hatch is bottled closed from the outside and they can't open it from the inside so they'd still die of lack of air
I think the air estimates were conservative, as they didn't account for the possibility of everyone sleeping to slow down their air consumption.
The idea of going to sleep and never waking up is probably going to make it hard for them to do.
even just laying prone and not moving would save a lot of air, as the weight of the body (and compression of bulging boomer guts) would constrict the lungs and stabilize breathing.
last two digits of this post in hours
5 hours, give or take
... why is it so small?
For a submarine this should only be able to just dive 10~20 meters within 30 minutes to maximum 1 hour, and only for 2~3 persons.
Why would anyone with half a brain think this mini sub could get to where the Titanic rests?
It actually had made the journey a couple of times.
>But I haven't already horrifically died from implosion
>make a deep dive sub
>pilot chamber is not a sphere
It was doomed to fail
If they were smart they would have brought down some plants to create oxygen
At least 4 or 5, I'd guess. No more than 10.
They're dead, the sub imploded
being real, there is 0% chance they can rescue them in time right?
yeah pretty much
They still don't know where the frick they are to start a rescue.
also i do they have a hatch the other sub can connect too
don't forget the underwater ocean currents
this was the demise of the kursk basically they couldn't get a seal on the hull to open the hatch
although they all got blown up by the oxygen maker
It's Joever. If they were lucky they died in an explosive decompression when they lost communication. If they were unlucky they are currently floating vertically in the cold, pitch darkness, emptying their bowls on each other and unable to move while they suffocate on sewage air.
>fecal titanic
Art
Unless we aren't getting live updates yeah
IT'S OVER
The banging might not even be the french guy, it's beyond over.
Polymarket
https://polymarket.com/event/will-the-missing-submarine-be-found-by-june-23
the banging could be some kind of damage bro
like the thing imploded from the pressure and got all warped and twisted with metal swinging around wacking into the what's left of the hull due to underwater ocean currents
Thanks, anon. I only knew Metacalculus.
Np anon
He could buy maybe another day or two because the cool internal temperature of the sub would stave off putrefaction a little bit, but eventually the bacteria would eat up all the remaining oxygen he would have had if he didn't have to share that coffin with a bunch of rotting bodies.
send in Orcas
they'll save them if they're white
ahhhh anon i have some bad news....
as I said they'll save them if they're white
have they been weaponised by the west?
Nature knows the proper order of the world
no need to weaponize anything
I'm Spaniard, and they only seem to attack refugee boats, but leave alone fishing boats or recreative boats according to our news. Why are they doing that?
>I'm Spaniard, and they only seem to attack refugee boats, but leave alone fishing boats or recreative boats according to our news.
No you are american and repeating fake news. Thanks for trying lol
they've only attacked non-migrant boats once
They have however bitten the rotors off of multiple non-refugee boats within the last year and rammed them as well.
rammed the boats with the propellers? christ
>They have however bitten the rotors off of multiple non-refugee boats within the last year and rammed them as well.
They are learning... Mwahahahaha.
>Killer whales have never eaten humans
that's debatable people have disappeared in the water with killer whales witnessed in the area
their was a big scientific mystery as to why they didn't attack humans because they could frick us up maybe they have learnt behaviour not to frick with humans because it means bad outcomes for them
maybe one of them got bold and it paid off and they suddenly realised these pink seals aren't that scary anymore like they were 200 years ago so lets have a go at them
Even the whales are getting Black person fatigue
see
Read the last sentences.
Yeah, I mean it sounds like what I said, that people would be thrilled no matter how these people died.
>And now they're getting an appreciation of how they can't spend their way out of this mess. Except they could have! Had they not been so arrogant!
yep hubris and obviously people that don't work in industry
otherwise they'd have taken one look at the thing and gone yeah nah i'll go in whatever that avatar director uses
You couldn't even get a last fap in due to the shit.
NTA but if you're a chud laughing at the migrants, this is fair game for people.
dude falling asleep and dying in your sleep is probably the easiest ways to go out homie relax and lets be real they aren't alive the whole banging sound they heard was just some bs they made up to give false hope
the thing was breached and crushed and they all died instantly
so fast that their brain couldn't register the pain it should be receiving from all their crushed bodied
again a nicer way to go out rather than have your balls chewed off by a pitbull while your drugged out and held at gun point by narco's
or whatever horrors are going on in the ukraine
stop being a b***h this is just hubris of the rich where normal people are like i wouldn't of done that
if you gave me all that money i'd have gone to monaco and wasted it on the casino's and bout a mclaren or some shit
Thread theme:
kino gorillaz song
Anybody have that scene from deep star six where migel depressurizes, if you catch my drift.
think it's in the other thread bro
I was talking about the explosive decompression scene but whatever.
First for
>it was Ice~~*berg*~~ again
I only really feel bad about the zoomer. He didn't deserve to go out like that.
Paki nepo baby, frick him too.
Imagine if he died a virgin. LMAO
He was the son of a billionaire, I'm sure his dad probably got him some prostitutes for his 18th birthday or something if he hadn't managed to get laid yet
Is he even 18? The lack of reporting on him made me think he's a minor
His dad is a muslim paki.
Isn't Dubai filled with wealthy Muslims like the dad who regularly fly out all manner of instathots and escorts to perform degrading sexual acts on?
I think he is 19
They probably ass raped the CEO, so not a virgin anymore
Do you think the CEO offered his ass in atonement or they had to take it forcibly?
he probably didn't even want to go, sad!
Dad's a billionaire, he should have no problem going down himself first to see that it's safe then blowing another 250k to bring his son down with him.
>want to do something nice with your dad for Father's Day
>he's been talking about diving down to the Titanic for years
>sounds like moronic boomer shit but maybe you'll at least see some whales or sharks or cool fish
>end up dying a horrible death
Did they go down on the 18th? Because that's pretty funny if so.
They unironically did. God that's fricked up.
lmao
>happy father's daACK
Guess what I did with my dad? Played a few hours of pool and got drunk. Such is life for us plebeians.
It's actually criminal.
>the word death is mentioned three times in the waiver on the very first page
>"yeah this seems safe, i should also buy a ticket for my son"
This. It's absurd how someone so stupid and arrogant can have access to so much wealth.
he's used to taking risks and see's it as a part of business life to be ruthless and play big to win big and that's how he probably made his money but the outcome when something bad happens is he just loses money or a business or a real estate so it's no biggie
and he's made a false equivalence of that to doing dare devil shit where the likelihood of the outcome is way higher and that outcome is you die
>and that's how he probably made his money
And being born rich with enough liquid capital to eat the risks that normies can't risk taking, along with insider knowledge and rampant corruption. Too bad you can't bribe mother nature.
yeah that too ofcourse but that's more just the lobbying of government to make entry into business much higher through fee's and licensing and shit like that
although i heard a state like 15 years ago that 80% of small business's fail
but that's probably got to do with the massive loan you have to take out to pay for over heads and fees and licesnses and shit like that not too mention stock or whatever materials equipment machines you need to make your product
This guy was a Paki oligarch so his level of corruption must be on another level entirely.
oh yeah he'd probably be taliban upped i'd imagine selling people, drugs and weapons across the paki / afghani border don't see what else you can make money in in pakistan
my point is all these mega corps want more regulation because it stops potential competitors from entering the market because they can't afford to get through all the red tape and then the mega corp takes their potential market
What should be the lesson here?
You tell me.
>He told CBS News: ‘You know, there’s a limit. At some point safety just is pure waste. I mean if you just want to be safe, don’t get out of bed.
>‘Don’t get in your car. Don’t do anything. At some point, you’re going to take some risk, and it really is a risk/reward question. I think I can do this just as safely by breaking the rules.’
https://metro.co.uk/2023/06/20/titanic-sub-ceo-was-worried-about-resurfacing-18980155/
Interesting nugget
>Rush then added he was most worried about the about the submarine’s ability to resurface.
I hope they find the thing after they're dead and we see it wedged in a piece of the wreckage or something, getting cornholed by orcas.
>finally resurface
>still die of oxygen deprivation
>get found on the coast of maine a few hours later
So close, yet so fricked
>if only we didn't bolt ourselves in and had a fricking valve door like every other submarine in existence
Some anon in the previous thread mentioned the possibility of the CEO still trying to buy some time or invent some excuse of how they are going to be saved if he does this tiny maneuver or thing. kek
Shoulda just given the ocean a firm handshake, looked it in the eyes and told it to higher them.
Nepo baby homosexuals like him get insulated from consequences because a frickup
costs them functionally nothing while for normalgays you frick up and you might be worse off forever for it. Odds are you will be. The paki was born to one of the richest men in Pakistan who was born to one of the richest men in pakistan and you have to go back to grandpa (or great grandpa if you're counting from the son) young years in the 19 fricking 20s to find someone who isn't in the top percentile. The british guy is a case of look at his biography and aside of flying for the Saudis nothing stands out or explains why he's a fricking billionaire, which sets off alarm bells.
And really the reason people are mocking them is the economies are shit and it feels like we're back in the gilded age but instead of noblese oblige on the part of Carnegies and Rockerfellers we just have failing-upwards Black folk who think they're John Galt or Tony Stark or who play with human societies like it's the fricking Sims like your WEF frickers.
Pull themselves up out of the ocean by the boat-straps.
>The british guy is a case of look at his biography and aside of flying for the Saudis nothing stands out or explains why he's a fricking billionaire, which sets off alarm bells.
it is called ocean"gate" could be a hit on the paki billionaires with the british guy killing himself as part of the hit maybe a family member of his is in some kind of trouble and he struck a deal to get them out if he did this
Meanwhile Elon and the Zucc are going to have a cage match for our amusement.
It will be at the bottom of the marianas trench, untelevised only the worlds richest submarines will be able to attend.
>Cameron and Gabe watching Elon and Zucc cagefighting at the bottom of the marina trench in their submarines
lel
At least they'd live long enough to watch.
Frick him because he's rich but I agree with this statement.
Yeah, but he's a billionaire and you're not so clearly HE must be the one in the right.
you could truly say the same thing about airliners as they constantly get delayed for stupid bullshit, but it's still better than the alternative. he's kind of stuck in a lean and mean way of business, but that doesn't work under these scenarios
When regarding small things yeah. When exploring the most dangerous environment on earth? Nah I’ll take the safety precautions thanks.
>break the rules of safety
>things become unsafe
this sounds complicated...
Isn't this the "diversity is inspirational" guy?
He's like a wet Icarus.
do your due diligence and also accept that the risk of dying has risen quite highly if you go on this ride
so maybe talk to an independent marine safety guy about it and ask him to write a report for you on oceangate
read said report and make a decision on whether you think the experience outweighs what the likelihood of death is
this is what people do on mining sites and offshore oil rigs when they partake in a job on site, they do a risk analysis
laugh at the misfortunes of stupid wealthy people
Same lesson as last time
DON'T DEAD
OPEN INSIDE
White people dying is hilarious
This reminded me of Kat Williams saying black people doesn't discover shit because they are too afraid of dying kek
The CEO was only on the descent because they had failed to make any proper visits to the wreckage for the "season" and everyone was getting worried. The company was failing, thus why they paid Good Morning America for that puff piece.
lmao and now they're really paying for it now
realistically speaking, why didn't they send george to find them?
His family haven't cared enough to ask. Who else should've asked?
artists rendition of the pakistani man trapped aboard the titan in his final moments
Most of the sea is oligotrophic unfortunately. There's usually nothing out there.
its not deep sea but its on a boat
cool movie with great special effects
yup, jamie was basically Sigourney weaver in this
i'll be honest this story has been freaking me out
Why? Afraid of the deep? Every sane person probably have this on one level or another.
Why? Did you have a 250k down deposit on a trip on this death trap?
Eventually the billionaires will start opening up 7/11s and be out of our hair for good
>implying one of them isnt a Fontaine secret agent that hijacked the sub so he can go to Rapture
>no Deep Blue Sea
Come on!
Any nautical lawyers on this board? They were in International Waters right? What's your analysis?
No, sadly there were no lawyers on board.
Play Deep Madness
And Iron Lung
well this looks like kino
its soulless AI trash.
fricking have a nice day for liking it.
i dunno anon, looks pretty cool to me
artists are DYING and you're why
You'd think submarines would be equipped with a flare or something they can float to the surface to relay a signal
>release flare
>ocean currents travel it 20km away from your position
In 100 years they're gonna send another submarine called "Ic" to view the Titan wreckage and it'll sink as well
Nah it will just be called Tit
>seat price $500k
>view the wreckage of the infamous Titan submersible
>ywn ride the Tit to the bottom of the Ocean
Every billionaire is probably thinking twice right now about that "venture" their adrenaline junkie friend is pestering them about. kek
meanwhile a dozen or more millionaires with fast tracked piloting licenses and souped up twin engines are dying in fiery terrain collisions every year and nobody cares
won't somebody think of the poor humble millionaire?
Hey man, if that's what you want to do for your midlife crisis, go right ahead.
b***h if you prefer to die a slow death in some hospital at age 80 instead of a plane crash or race accident you are already dead inside
I think it's the other way around, anon
>enjoy the little surprises and moments of life
>start going into dangerous stuff for that ever high dopamine hit because life it's just too boring for you
Tell me who's dead inside now
Can someone please call Logitech so I can make sense of this shit?
>she's been a mother once too many times
I slept in a WWII submarine in Boy Scouts overnight years ago and it looked a million times more advanced than this piece of shit, it was actually kind of comfy.
What was WWII like?
So were you a seaman or a seaboy?
>went in a boy
>came out a man
can you tell us about the Battle of the Caribbean?
I was thinking about betting earlier on it being found but shit, bad bad odds
Is this possible? Where?
Do you think they knew they were going to implode before it happened?
Or was it so sudden they had no chance to think before they were all conglomerated into a goo cube
3,840 metres – the approximate depth in metres.
that's 384 atmospheres
basically if the breach happened they'd die instantaneously due to the water pressure
would be like a building falling on you from all sides crushing you in seconds
This is 1 atmosphere of pressure
They were at around 400 atm
looks like a fat black ghost lady did a butt slam onto it
I need his take on this.
His silence is deafening. This would never have happened without him.
>this would never have happened without him
Titanic was discovered 11 years before the movie came out. There wreck was visited several times in those 11 years.
give their titles, Black person
Upper left: Deepwater (2019)
Bottom left: Sphere (1998)
Don't know the others, but iirc the upper right is a classic.
Upper right is DeepStar Six.
>bottom left
I miss this style of film promo, very 90s
And the movie it's not that bad either...
Watched it too young, gave me nightmares. My sister told me the jellyfish scene was real.
based sister kek
hope she apologized
Dr. Pavel, I'm MIA.
>tfw the Titanic wreck will disappear forever within the next two decades
Is it bad that Titanic is unironically one of my favorite films of all time?
>Is it bad that Titanic is unironically one of my favorite films of all time?
yes
Can't they just pray to God or something?
Poseidon would choke himself laughing
It only works in the sky (it's closer to Him). Reception is really bad in the deep.
they are in davey jones locker right now not even jesus himself can save them
4 hours of oxygen left at best now?
Like being buried alive
It must be nightmarish
It's alright, they definitely strangled the CEO to death so they probably have a few more hours of breathable air with one less person sucking it down
They probably fought while covered in shit and piss. Conceptualize the brutality.
>dark
>cold
>tiny
>can't even stand up
>fight to the death
I just hope we get video
I bet they froze to death long before the air ran out.
Theyve lost comms on previous trips
Yes and according to the videos that are going around in those dives they pretty quickly started dropping ballast when the comms were lost. But they regained it and kept going but slower. Either they kept going with no navigation and somehow made it to the titanic by memory or something and got tangled. I don’t see how they can’t resurface
I like the theory that the Frenchman who found the Titanic wreck sabotaged them so that he could die next to the Titanic.
Could be...
That guy was too eager talking about this specific scenario on that video. Literally the same scenario.
People are literally trapped right now at the bottom of the ocean and will die soon. Not funny. Have some respect.
but they have more money tha me
And all the billions in the world cannot save them.
Ironic.
It's a little funny
Nobody forced them to.
Tbf I imagine the 19 year old was probably forced by his dad, he didnt decide to go see the titanic himself, only boomers would care about that
He was probably raised by his dad on that whole shit about "risk taking" and "aiming to the impossible", where all of it's nothing more than regulatory capture, inheritance and survivorship bias, as usual. Kid might have grew thinking he was destined to great things and just wanted an unique experience with his dad. SAD
maybe it is a gangbang gone wrong
But who would be piloting the sub then?
They take turns and run a train on that twink
>jon tron
>twink
>looking at pictures of boys online
So, according to the most recent news
>Cameron said he couldn't wait anymore. He jumped into his sub and went searching for the missing sub
>He made contact with "something"
>Disappeared right afterwards
What the FRICK is going on down there
It's going to be a chain reaction of billionaires going down there to see the latest wreck and becoming trapped themselves
Repeat until we’re out of billionaires.
I sure hope they would reveal whatever Event Horizon scene happened in the sub if they managed to find it and it didn't implode.
what has elon said about this is he rapidly building a rescue sub that uses lithium batteries to get to the ocean's depths in minutes instead of hours?
Nah he just accused the US Coast Guard of being pedophiles and then deleted his tweets.
he's too busy sucking the poojeet pm's wiener
Inironically, oxygen parties could be a great thing to set up for tomorrow. Small gathering but whatever
I wonder whats on that black box
>DID YOU SAW THAT
>IT'S TRYING TO GET INSIDE
would be kino
>did you see that
aaa
>IT'S IN THE WALLS
>AHHHHHH (inaudible)
>libera te tutemet ex inferis
>do not open
Frick you. You are not my boss.
they hid israeliteels in there I bet
W-what happens if I open it?
Will the FBI track me down to retrieve the tape?
>Take out storage device
>Edit the audio files to add a monster scream in the last couple seconds
>Reseal it and leave it on a beach for the next person to find
Ebin prank
>Down to single digit hours now
We're in the endgame now.
Did they really pay 250k to have an 80 year old man take them to the ocean floor?
>he doesn't appreciate a fancy and elaborated way of dying
What you are lacking is the billionaire mindset
You are ngmi that way
>OceanGate
Gotta wonder if a real "OceanGate" was brewing in politics (maybe a s part of Gizzlaine Maxwell's TerraMar project) and they've mounted this shit in part to swamp search results on it.
ITS THE FINAL COUNTDOWN
Man, I'm watching the documentary of James Cameron's dive and there was an insane amount of work put into that shit. I cannot fricking believe these people thought they could skirt by forever without some sort of catastrophic failure happening.
Any good conspiracy theory on why the sub failed? I live for this shit!
It is not a conspiracy, it is open knowledge that the sub was really sub standard when it came to safety protocols.
>sub standard
Carlooooos!
>they were moronic
booo
getting there
now we are talking
nature's rebelling against us
time to kill nature
the british guy harrie i think his name is is some kind of daredevil and his bio doesn't explain how he became rich other than flying saudi's around
so it begs the question if he has skeletons in his closet or he was blackmailed into murder suicide
me personally i think it was orca's
His education explains it pretty well. I met people at uni that went to King’s School. They do not operate in normal terms. What you would consider disgustingly wealthy means nothing to them.
>me personally i think it was orca's
I agree. I’ve been to Marineland. You can tell those shifty black-and-white motherfrickers are planning something. I wouldn’t put it past them to blackmail a person into murder-suicide.
mate aliums have bases at the bottom of the ocean they converse with sea creatures
The logitech controller broke. The springs behind the thumb sticks are fricking dogshit.
The dude was so brazenly cheap and comically ignoring regulations that no conspiracies are needed
Too much methane from the poo bucket built up, causing the hull to rupture
orca's attacking the the sub see
or the british guy was a plant who's family was held hostage so he suicided them by mashing buttons or some shit
Its over
what happens if you gotta take a huge dump or a monumental piss?
They have a bucket.
The Indians filled that 10 mins into the trip
It's possible they tried to abort the mission due to that and something went wrong. Comms failed 1 hour and a half after the trip started. You might be onto something here, anon...
what if i was one of the paki's and had a huge currie for brekky before the launch
would that be a probably my sloppy curry shit everywhere in the bucket and the back spray??!!! and also my curry farts
das boot
The state of that sub, looks like a death trap. I'd expect a real machine. You could offer me a billion bucks to get on it, I would just flee and never even consider it.
I don't want to get into conspiracies but you have to admit this would be the perfect way to fake your death.
No chance of a body being recovered and also no chance of survival
The sea freaks the FRICK out of me. Just the idea of a huge dark place that tries to actively kill you makes any movie set in there a horror film for me. Now that this Titan shit has been in the news, I've had multiple nightmares about being stuck in the submarine myself
Agreed. We need to nuke the sea immediately.
>tfw they’re in the Titanic and they didn’t think to looks there
>Oxygen is almost completely out
Sweet dreams
hit bump limit use this one when current thread dies we are entering the final hours
if they get into less than 2.5 hours of air they don't have enough time to resurface
also they can't open the hatch even if they surface can only be opened from the outside
this thread has hit bump limit and is auto-sagied migrate
The movie that made me most scared of the ocean wasn't even an ocean movie. It was a hard sci-fi film I can't remember the name of about a manned mission to Titan or something and at the end the ice cracks and the ship falls into the alien ocean. Just that idea of not only been stuck in the depths of sea but the isolation of space at the same time really got to me.
THEY HAVE JUST BEEN RESCUED THEY ARE ALIVE AND BEING PULLED UP RIGHT NOW
IT'S REAL
>they manage to actually find them
Then what? How do they get air to them in such a short amount of time?
it's carbon fibre bro they can literally use a drill into the bulkhead
The only hope they have (had) is that the sub got stuck somewhere and they could use one of the unmanned subs to dislodge it and allow it to surface
whats top left?
underwater (2020)
thank you anon, I will now watch your movie
