The fallout show
Captcha: TODV
Godfather. It's not even a good movie, let alone a great one. Just endless mafia infatuation by a director that can't enforce of anything cooler than being a criminal.
I mean the whole point of the film is that Michael is put down a dark path by fate and ends up betraying/alienating the people he loves in the process.
Criminals make things worse, including themselves, for their own short term benefit? Shocking.
Go frick yourself. The movie is static, there is no point. Just endless romatisicm of criminals because that's what the director thinks is cool.
Nice contrarian opinion. I used to be the same as you, but for some reason Godfather kept living rent-free in my head so I watched it again. And honestly, it has gotten better with every rewatch. It's not just CRIMINAL GOOD, don't take it as a romanticization of the mafia. The movie is about Michael Corleone.
You're the Scorcese spammer. Bloody bastard
i keep forgetting the people on this board are fricking idiots
Allowing the third world access to the internet has been disastrous.
it insists upon itself
1917
The one-take gimmick didn't engage me like it does in other films, I had no emotional investment in the characters, a lot of the film just felt like stuff happening, etc.
Oh frick off. Even though it was all CGI the nighttime run through the bombed out French city with flares overhead was a great scene. So was the young chaplain singing the hymn to the company about to die in battle
>even though it was all cgi
that's definitely part of it
christoper nolan wizard movie
Blade Runner. Amazing visuals, music and atmosphere, but the acting, action, dialouge, and story were kinda boring. The Tears in the Rain speech is great but there's so many corny moments throughout the rest of the film. There's also barely any detective work in what is supposed to be a detective noir.
Citizen Kane
my fricking GOD what a boring picture. I will never understand the spell it put over people back in its day. I'd rather read wikipedia than watch it again
both people in this pic talk like plebs and have no idea how to critique a film
Shot caller.
pulp fiction
every Tarkovsky movie
The Lighthouse
I have the biggest brain, by the way. Every movie ever made is TRASH.
Calling a movie boring is exposing yourself as a adhd addled brainlet.
Pretty much. It's not that a movie can't be boring, but if this is the only word you can use to describe what you didn't like about it, you are a moron.
actually if you can't into objectivity and simplicity you're probz a midwit.
"Boring" is an antonym of objectivity, and simplicity implies that you actually convey something. "Boring" doesn't convey anything.Just admit you are a moron who can't articulate what you didn't like about a piece of media. It's okay, buba.
boredom is the antithesis if entertainment (the goal of movies), so that means the movie failed in it's main purpose.
Failed how? In what way? How is that in any way objective, buba? You quite literally there, confirming that it means nothing and provides no perspective on the piece of media. Just say you are a moron, it's alright.
i don't need to provide perspective, i'm not the artist.
>artist
*storyteller
I am aware, you are a moron. "Providing perspective" is just another way of saying "being objective." I'm sorry for using fancy synonyms. I know you have development issues.
Because he is dumber than a Black person.
>"Providing perspective" is just another way of saying "being objective."
if i'm actually a moron it looks like i have good company.
>buba
Why are you so afraid of calling anon a "Black person"?
because he knows being an elitist only works for serious art like literature.
There’s a difference between a movie being slow and a movie being boring. A slow movie would be something like Unforgiven which takes its time to develop its cast of characters, as well as build up its themes, so that when the plot finally kicks in, it hits insanely hard. A boring movie would be something like Batman vs Superman, where Batman and Superman are barely even in it for no reason and it feels like the plot is padded out endlessly with scenes of nothing happening.
This
Maybe anime like jjk is their preference, i mean constant action, after effect lights, ultraspeed movement, etc
2001: a space odyssey
Birdman. Didn't like the one straight shot gimmick, I didn't quite understand the story well enough. I feel like my opinion is wrong because the movie seems universally loved, but at the end of the day, I just didn't like it.
tree of life. Most pseud trash I have ever had the displeasure of seeing
That movie made me a Christian.
Im sorry for your loss
Vertigo.
Shit's not even in my top 5 Hitchwieners.
Interstellar
Oppenheimer. Just a bunch of nerds talking about nothing. Why would I give a shit if that main nerd can't have security clearance
There Will Be Blood
Shawshank. Extremely-overrated movie. A Man Escaped is a better movie.
Stalker
Tokyo Story
Come and See
Without a doubt it's DUNC. The screeching zoomies and shills that first week were pathetic.
Saddest part is that the visuals were mediocre; bells and whistles.

Do real people post shit like this or is it all bots? I refuse to believe /misc/ actually destroys minds the way this board makes it seem. You can't all be so weak and impressionable
Get a load of this goyboy, israeli mind virus 100% successfully installed in this one.
People that think film is merely about plot/visuals/characters have rocks in their heads.
