Yeah I remember when these movies were good.
The first one is no spring chicken either.
They spend way too much time on that dull ass cave set.
He didn't say that
How do you respond without sounding scared?
*jumps up on a chair and grabs my petticoat*
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Start chanting Ave Maria.
d-d-drink up, me hearty, yo ho?
hmm i think i'll rewatch #2 tonight
ahhhh kino
Why was the dialogue in the first one actually good and so shit in the later ones? Did they just stop caring about anything other than CGI?
They first was a pain to get made and spent a while in production. The sequels were made to cash in and were rushed
That scene scared the shit out of me as a kid.

Based swashbuckling redefined for the better forever
>Elisabeth is a strong female lead
>Annamaria is a strong black female secondary character
if this movie came out today it would be called woke
can u fricking mutt politics Black folk shut the frick up for a single second
You can have a strong female lead, but she has to be hot. Modern Hollywood's problem is all the strong female leads are ugly.
>You can have a strong female lead, but she has to be hot. Modern Hollywood's problem is all the strong female leads are ugly.
This.
She doesn't even need to be hot, as long as she has something to offer it can be fine. She can be middling to unattractive, but if she has the right attitude it can work. It's just writers only want to write female characters as abrasive c**ty shitheads AND cast middling women to play them, then give them undercuts and dress them up in all manner of unflattering makeup and wardrobe.
Go back and watch some movies from the 70s 80s and 90s. There are all sorts of major female characters in movies who are not particularly attractive at a glance, but because of their sympathetic and endearing characterization they quickly grow on you. You almost never experience that anymore. The writing is the problem.
>somewhat attractive, solidly feminine
>not a 'boss b***h' who shits on men who are magically all incompetent
>some flaws, balanced with autonomy and earned respect/realistic skills
It's simple.
If it was made today it would be some unattractive stronk israeliteess that constantly emasculates the joke of a lead male and the entire plot would revolve around just them.
>two Men who want to frick the female
It's just star wars
>tfw no stinky capricious negress sea witch gf

Why did so many movies sexualise Keira when she was still a teenager? She was only 17 in this.
Different time unironically
NEURON ACTIVATIOOOOON
Yeah I wonder why lmao
I don't get it?
Barbossa was such a cool antagonist, none of the others not even Davy Jones could compare to him. Then they had to ruin him by bringing him back
Barbossa and Norrington were the best characters in these
contrarian b***htard, without jack they would have been entirely pointless

Governor Swan...I'm HMRN.
Perhaps he's wondering why you'd brand a man before hanging him for piracy.
Because they couldn't execute him right when he was caught, so they marked him to differentiate from other prisoners and facilitate triage. It's what I would do, at least.
It would be extremely painful
You're a scurvy dog
