It was a smart move, be honest you morons. It was a real threat someone had pocket 10’s, meaning another 10 on the turn or the river would mean a tidy 5 of a kind, easily blowing, Damon’s full house out of the water.
I don't get this thread. What should he have done? Raised? Folded?
He should have raised a nominal amount or gone all in as if he was bluffing pocket 10s or something
I'm a semi pro poker player.
If I was him, I would have considered a three-bet light with my pocket rockets if the loose cannon in the cutoff had been spewing chips all night, so my opponent would be a prime candidate for a squeeze play. If I just flat-called, the nit to my left might have tried to steal the pot with a delayed continuation bet on the flop. By three-betting, I could potentially isolate the maniac and inflate the pot while still having the best hand pre-flop. Anyway, I hope that helps.
i feel like im taking crazy pills. do you guys seriously not understand where the humour comes from this clip? it has nothing to do with his hand or what he should or shouldnt have done. the reason its funny is because hes a fricking professional actor and when he saw he had a good hand he jumped out his seat and delivered some of the shittiest acting of all time trying to hide his excitement

>raise and people will fold >all in and people will fold >best you can do is check and hope someone gets brave
Poker is such a moronic thing. People wanna act like there is much skill involved.
You read the table, autist anon. Some people like to play safe, some raise for no fricking reason. Half the game is figuring out the other players’ behavior and exploiting it.

you can play low stakes on most betting/casino sites
sports betting site I use has an online casino you can play with as low as 10 euro buy in with 10 cent blinds
I'm currently playing on my phone like that, there are loads of apps for free poker and they work well. There are microtransactions for when you lose all you ships, but you can just as well start a new account, and if you're not terrible you should never need to pay/restart
Its reasonably fun for a mobile game but it doesnt compare to real poker cause people play like maniacs when they have nothing "real" to lose. Prepare to see some players that preflop all in with an 8 and 10 offsuited and then 4 morons calling that cause they can just go to the next game if they lose. The rare games that are really fun are those where everyone actually wants to try and win
it doesn't even make sense for him to have this hand and not fold pre flop unless he was big blind and everyone checked through but Mecs hand A2 suited is at least worth a bet pre flop
>fold all night >get ubeatable hand once >raise >win >continue evening raising with trash hands every now and then >walk away with more than I entered with
poker is ez
I'll raise.
Fold fold fold
Succinct.

He only needed a five for 21 tho.
Also 66666 checke’d my homie.
I check
I don't get this thread. What should he have done? Raised? Folded?
Yes. He should have folded and jumped out the window
He should have bet, what an butthole.
He should have raised a nominal amount or gone all in as if he was bluffing pocket 10s or something

it is like 70/30 luck skill
that anon is also wrong check or c bet is right call in this situation, all in is a moronic move
All in is definitely not a moronic move, considering the context of this particular game.
You read the table, autist anon. Some people like to play safe, some raise for no fricking reason. Half the game is figuring out the other players’ behavior and exploiting it.
>play AFK all game
>now you can't make moves now that you actually have a hand
its really intuitive to people who arent moronic cucks actually

I'll stick to Yu-Gi-Oh.
He shouldn't have gone
>a-WOOOO-gah
>hummuna hummuna hummuna
>*dog whistle*
the second he saw the cards.
He played the hand exactly how his character in Rounders said NOT to play it.
The ironing.
On rewatching, the improv banter between Norton and Damon’s characters is dumb and badly done
>inb4 homosexual redditors start sperging about this
you don't know how to play poker
ill hit him over and over until he cant see anymore
israelite me, sue me, israelite me
Going to my first casino soon to play poker, any tips?
the money you take to vegas stays in vegas.
Aces are the best cards in the game so you should probably try to play when you have them 🙂 hope this advanced guide helps
I chuck.
I like when poker coverage only shows you one player's hand so nobody in the room can armchair quarterback "I would've folded there"
I like when they commercial break every 4 minutes and you get to hear that stupid fricking guitar riff twice every time
>I like when they commercial break every 4 minutes
You should really listening to some AM radio then
PYAY HEEM.
PYAY DYAT MYAN HEES MYONEE.
honestly his best role
Is there a good casual online poker site where I don't need to use real money but can play real people?
They are full of bots, you might as well just play video poker apps by yourself.
you can play low stakes on most betting/casino sites
sports betting site I use has an online casino you can play with as low as 10 euro buy in with 10 cent blinds
Just play on Pokerstars with like a 2 USD buy in

it doesn't even make sense for him to have this hand and not fold pre flop unless he was big blind and everyone checked through but Mecs hand A2 suited is at least worth a bet pre flop

Who the frick folds pre flop, the frick outta here.
if I were playing with you guys I would just go all in every hand without looking at my cards
And you'd get cleaned out lmao
you haven't heard? I'm kind of a big deal around here
What kind of logic is that? There's a difference to not folding pre flop and calling everything.
im taking the piss cause those guys are clearly joking
>fold pre flop
This is why you don't get pussy.
Was it autism?
>OF COURSE I LIED IT'S POKER
>fold all night
>get ubeatable hand once

>win
