The tv show made Po insanely busted

He realized he fricked up by doting on Tai Lung and fricked up AGAIN, by doing the complete opposite with her, denying her even basic parental approval. So now he created a super-powered, repressed, try-hard. Surprised she hasn't snapped in a similar fashion, wrecking shit and screaming "ACKNOWLEDGE MEEEEE!!!!"
Having peers probably helped with that. Tai Lung just trained on his own for nights on end but Tigress had actual friends she valued and felt responsible for

I was in the middle of writing essentially what you said but with more words when you posted that, so I’ll just add: according to the tv show she was ostracized for being freakishly strong and a predator. After being brought in to teach her to control her strength, Shi-Fu essentially adopts her and brings her to the Jade Palace, she pretty much viewed Shi-Fu as her dad and he was emotionally distant to her throughout her childhood, likely only mellowing out overtime as the rest of what would become the Furious Five would arrive.
The secret is being the chosen one and magically having better kung fu skills than people who spent their entire lives training. Which was also the message in 3, where fat, untrained pandas easily defeated legendary masters.
It's funny how Shifu managed to almost frick up a second time with Tigress. Dude needs to learn how to train prodigies better. Also it's a shame Tigress became a jobber so Po could stand out. Would've loved if they were just about equal for Po to be OP in certain situations.
>"Young Shen was in line to rule Gongmen City. But he wanted more. I foretold that someone would stand in his way. A panda. But i never could have foretold what came next"
That line removes all ambiguity about what the goat meant when she said "a warrior of black and white". She was indeed talking about a panda.

So, color everything like a satanic baby shower in neon pink and baby blue, and instead of erasing any of the sketchlines around purposefully-ugly character designs, draw extra ones. That and Puss wears rainbow boots. Done.
>director Jennifer Yuh Nelson never directed anything before, let alone a film. She wasn't assigned a co director either >head of story Philip Craven never served as head of story before, and he was almost a newcomer to the animation industry >first film's directors John Stevenson and Mark Osborne didn't come back, not getting involved at all. Neither did the first film's story writers Ethan Reiff and Cyrus Voris >Simon Wells didn't come back as the action sequences supervisor >Guillermo del Toro was a creative consultant >no delays were made. It had to be finished by May 2011
Easy to see what went wrong with KFP2
>How did Shifu manage not to turn her into Tai Lung 2.0? Special training?
rewatch the damn movie, holy shit
what movie?
Kung Fu Panda
Martial furries starring jablinski.
That's a tough one to sit through
Probably by not leading her on that she was the dragon warrior her entire life
She jobbed enough that she was humbled

In all seriousness, it's this
Huh. Not a big fan of this. The movies made it clear that Tigress was the better fighter.
Because she dropped for po's BPC
He realized he fricked up by doting on Tai Lung and fricked up AGAIN, by doing the complete opposite with her, denying her even basic parental approval. So now he created a super-powered, repressed, try-hard. Surprised she hasn't snapped in a similar fashion, wrecking shit and screaming "ACKNOWLEDGE MEEEEE!!!!"
In before next movie makes her a villain and that silver fox will have to stop her under the mentorship of Po
Having peers probably helped with that. Tai Lung just trained on his own for nights on end but Tigress had actual friends she valued and felt responsible for

I wish we got daddy issues Tigress...
Why do you think she lusts after a kindly dadbod guy w
I wouldn't call Shifu kind tbh, he's a bit strict
Two words. Filial piety. Tigress was clearly pissed but she obeyed her master above all else.
She was well on her way. She's lucky that Po arrived and showed her the secret was confidence.
The secret is being the chosen one and magically having better kung fu skills than people who spent their entire lives training. Which was also the message in 3, where fat, untrained pandas easily defeated legendary masters.
Viper > Tigress
Being a contrarian does not make you an interesting person
I'm not a contrarian nor an interesting person
Having different opinions doesn't automatically make someone a "contrarian".
It does when said opinion is objectively wrong.
>Thinking there's any sort of objectivity in preferred characters
Immense moronation.
>he fell for the opinion meme
There's universal truth, and then there's deviants like
Hiding behind >buh muh opinion matters won't make your take any less shit.

Series was good from 2008-2010. Too bad they missed the mark with the underwhelming second film in 2011.
>Christmas special
>In China
New Year's special woulda fit more
A stick up her ass the size of the eiffel tower.
>see fliename
What if Tigress was bigger?
How much bigger?
It makes me sad knowing I'll never be able to hug him
Will KFP4 be made with cooperation with CCP again? Or has that ended?
>"Young Shen was in line to rule Gongmen City. But he wanted more. I foretold that someone would stand in his way. A panda. But i never could have foretold what came next"

She was his student and not his very special little boy
KFP4 needs to be visually stylized, ie, The Last Wish. The 2000's style is no longer acceptable.

This is what Po looks like in the new movie.
Looks exactly the same.
jfc I never noticed how disgustingly textured his paw pads are
>ie, The Last Wish
Make a trip so I could filter your posts.
Or The Bad Guys.
Should've started with that.
>Looking for me?..... I said that too soon, didn't I?

Hope that Jennifer Yuh Nelson never directs a film again. It's been over 5 years since the last one.
Look at them. Yuh Nelson thinking she directed a good film and Jolie thinking she lent her voice to a good film.
So did Po kill those wolves when he redirected the firework balls toward the boat ships?
Despite all their screentime, those wolves and gorillas instantly dissapear from the film after Po redirects the last firework ball.
