Justify to whom? Yourself?
It's alright to like things man, just buy it.
Just saw you are a fan of animation.
Wacky races doesn't have that much good animation.
>Just saw you are a fan of animation.
Just say "SHUT UP" because nobody's going to care and if they do care "SHUT UP" and also "get out of my dvd shelf."
Saw you wanted to see what the fuss is about after seeing the South Park episode.
That's as much as a 6-pack of corona or heineken from the gas station lol
You can probably download it on the internet somewhere for free though, it's not like your money will go back to the original creators, they're all retired or dead
It’s only $10, poorgay
Fools and their money are easily parted
NTA but I'd rather have the beer. Even a hangover would be preferred to owning some junk DVD that has no resale value and most libraries wouldn't want as a donation and thrift stores will simply mark down to $1 once they receive it, even in mint condition.
Then buy it from the thrift store for $1
Remind yourself that people spend more on coffee drinks.
At least coffee arguably has nutritional value.
You have losers who spend literal hundreds of dollars per week on nicotine, and sometimes not even the good kind.
>At least coffee arguably has nutritional value.
Starbucks is a scam.
if you think people will judge you for it then you need to take some deep thinking anon
I’m confused. How old are you?
How old are you? "I remember watching this show as a kid and I wanted a physical copy so I could potentially show to my kids someday" is reasonable enough for most people.
Just say you want to see it for that Pitsop Pussy
That's 32 cents per episode. If its a show you really like, that's not a bad deal.
I remember when Anime DVDs were fricking $25 for 4 episodes
Anime DVDs are still that costly
Only the Aniplex releases.
Why do we have so many OPs that are blatantly underage? Just fricking get a gift card and buy it on your own account and not your parents'. With Blaze's pyrokenises you could play around in the himalayas for hours.
> With Blaze's pyrokenises you could play around in the himalayas for hours.
What?
homie u on Cinemaphile, what do you think?
That's a really good price.
>Caring what """"people"""" think of your interests past 8th grade
Peak underage moment
>Be op
>begrudgingly order this in deep pain as you click "Confirm order"
>it arrives in mail next day because you paid for next day delivery
>Sniff it.
>bite disc for quality insurance
>have 8 hour long goon sesh of jacking off to Wacky Races.
>Walk slowly into school the next day.
>Stop and open the door dramatically.
>"EVERYONE I HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT TO MAKE!!!"
>Whole room goes quiet. Not this shit again.
>"AS MANY OF YOU MAY KNOW I HAVE JUST BOUGHT THE WACKY RACES COMPLETE SERIES DVD ON AMAZON!"
>... "What."
>"What the frick is that." "What is bro on about."
>"I JUST HAVE TO CLARIFY I AM NOT AUTISTIC! OK! I JUST HAPPEN TO HAVE A PRIVATE INTEREST IN CHILDRENS CARTOONS ESPECIALLY THE OLDER VARIETY!!!"
>"Nah bro this homie does this every fricking week bro." People begin to film Anon. All the girls in the room laugh at him. "What is cuh yappin about?"
>OP slowly walks up to the most popular kids in the room and gets within inches of their face and proceeds to SCREAM
>"I JUST NEED IT CLARIFIED PUBLICLY THAT IT IS PURELY A ARTISTIC INTEREST IN WACKY RACES. I DO NOT HAVE AUTISM!!!"
>"THANK UHHHH YYOOUUUUUU!!!!"
>Op proceeds to walk out of the classroom.
>"Wait so is he a part of this class or not."
>"Who cares maybe if we keep letting him do this he'll spare us when he shoots up the place."
>begrudgingly order this in deep pain as you click "Confirm order"
this but completely unironically
I paid that much for Dastardly and Muttley and their Flying Machines, and I bought it because it was fricking funny then and it's still fricking funny now.
Bros... is liking Wacky Races autistic?
Only the modern one.
Why is Cinemaphile full of insecure homosexuals?
Digital media is vastly superior to physical media.
The thing you rent digitally may vanish overnight. If you really like something keep a physical copy. Someday you might have something special to show your children.
You say this but most TV cartoons don’t even get physical copies. It’s because nobody buys them, even Best Buy and Target stopped selling them altogether. It’s a dead format.
>The thing you rent digitally may vanish overnight.
yeah when people talk about owning digital media they definitely mean streaming or something similar... for sure.
Very unlikely to happen. It’s way cheaper to just stream.
>The thing you rent digitally may vanish overnight
only if you rent them like a fricking muppet.
once again, nothing beats downloading stuff to your own drives.
You don't own anything on streaming services, you only rent them
Learn how to read, moron.
With how many references this got I figured it would be more than 34 episodes.
Who the frick has to justify ordering some shit from Amazon? Are you a kid using your parent's credit card?
What if someone catches me watching it?
Easy just don’t be a giant homosexual about it you spaz.
By having kids that you want to see the same cartoons that you watched as a kid? Why would you bother buying it otherwise?
I just bought Bug's Life from a street vendor, no fricks given. Another movie to watch when my nephew and niece will visit.
>from non-English-speaking country
>want to show nieces and nephews Scooby-Doo and The Witch's Ghost because I loved it as a kid, but it only got a dubbed release on VHS and that can't be found
>have plan to find the VHS in some second hand store and ripping the audio and adding it to a better-quality rip to show them
>spent years looking but couldn't find it
>finally someone with the same idea uploaded a rip on Archive.org
>now they're all too old to want to watch Scooby-Doo, or old enough to just watch it in English
Not being able to just show them stuff in English makes it a lot harder to suggest movies. My oldest niece had a kid at 19 though, so now I've got a second chance. As long as she doesn't make the kid addicted to youtube, which is a real danger with how often they bring out "his ipad". They even did it when I was visiting and playing with him, which made me really question what the frick they were doing when I wasn't there.
Pole here. These kids are 11-12 , unfortunately my nephew has ADHD or whatever you call this nowadays, don't know if to blame parents genes or cellphones.
youtube is no different than tv
It's the content that's "cancerous". Tv is mild compared to some moronic stuff people record to gain views on the platform.
If you actually believe this then you haven't seen the shit that autoplays for young kids on youtube. It's nothing but bright colours and noises for meaningless stimulation that never ends because there's always another flashy video ready to play after. We're not talking about a kid being "addicted" to youtube because he watches Among Us videos or whatever the new thing is.
