The only British actor of the right age I'm even half way interested in is Tom Hughes. Even at that I only see him working if they maintain a more serious Bond which I don't think the series needs right now. Every other actor looks like a chav or a twink.

I think people are generally sick of Bond after a million Daniel Craig films. If they try to reboot the franchise with a new actor maybe at least try something new like have a paranormal element like the X files or make it way more comedic/campy like it was in the 70's.
I was rooting for paki bond (riz ahmed) until recently. but no one cares about muslims/terrorists any more. now that they've already embarrassed themselves with the nigress 007 the only way to go is with a chinaman. posh, hong kong born and able to blend in easily anywhere as a spy because chinks are fricking everywhere yet no one despises them as much as blacks or towelheads.
